Hi all! I recently bought this old Marin MTB off eBay with the intention of making some adjustments (tyres, for one) and turning this into an adventure/gravel bike.
It was listed as a 20.5/21.5 inch/L bike, and while it rides fine with me (1m90cm/6ft3) on it, it looks smaller than I expected. Is that normal for MTB bikes from this (90s-00s I assume) era?
And any other tips regarding conversions would be really appreciated! Thanks!

It might “look smaller” because the setback seatpost is mounted backwards 😀
It’s already a gravel bike. It was never a MTB, more of an entry level commuter.
If that’s your seat post height you probably need one size bigger.
Ride and enjoy, this is not an investment.
