    But.. @u7:15 biking on the "stoep" (sidewalk)? 🤫

    And perhaps you noticed yourself arojnd @10:00 the waterlevel in thec canal on yiur left is higher then the land at your right. This means probably that you are biking on reclaimed land for that area.

    @13:32. Fietsstraat – auto te gast. Translated : bikestreet – car is a guest. Cars are allowed, bur bikes have priority. Cars nedcto adaot to bikers instead of otherway around. This is also explains the red asphalt (in the Netherlands an indication for a bike lane )

    In general you saw a lot of canals during your trip. As this is the low countries indeed (especially the western part of my country) we need those canals to get rid of the water in the lower areas. The canals in the end are moving the water to the rivers and to the North Sea.
