Might be a bit high. Looks like it’s had a lot of use. The rear cassette has limited life in it, the front chain ring may not be far behind. A 54 cm would likely be too small for someone 6 feet tall

That’s the 2009 model, I won’t pay that much for a bike that old but that is me.
If $1k is your budget keep looking , you can get a more modern bike for that amount.
Also consider that someone who bought a s-works in 2009 probably has used it a lot.
s-works gives you a better carbon frame and lighter but unless you are racing professionally that won’t make any difference. On the other hand you get a old and used drivetrain, don’t get disc brakes and old geometry.
