Making a saddle bag was on my to-sew list for a while now. I finally made one to compliment my frame bag for my gravel bike. I’m hoping to kit it out with one final bag and do some bikepacking trips with it.
The pattern was sublimated printed. I wrote a tutorial on at-home sublimation printing in a MYOG post last week linked below.
I didn’t follow an exact pattern but followed this [guide](https://sparetimeadventureblog.wordpress.com/2020/04/10/seatpost-bag-full-bagmyog/) by spacetimeadventure. She includes a printable pattern guide but you need to figure out the hardware placement and some of the smaller sewn items. It wasn’t too hard to figure it out and I made some tweaks to the design.
Overall the bag came out way better than I expected. I really like the elastic cord harness I added to the top of the bag and the size is perfect. At minimum size its about 1.5L and at max size its probably around 5-6L.
