What a place! 130,000 elephants in this part of the world (and they do not like cyclists!) We’ve been mock charged enough times to know that elephants have right of way in these parts. Botswana is proving to be an incredible country, even if we’re pushing the bikes a little more than we’d like!

Ya that first picture makes me real uncomfortable
That first photo is very intimidating. Is it safe to camp, or even stand, that close to a wild elephant? It does not look happy.

Is that a Da Brim on your helmet? If so, how do you like it? I am riding in Saudi Arabia in a couple months and was considering picking one up. I rode in Egypt two years ago and despite slathering on sunscreen every 30 minutes I still got a lot of sunspots on my face.
