Hi fellow Canyon riders. I got the current [Endurace CF SLX 8 Di2](https://www.canyon.com/en-ch/road-bikes/endurance-bikes/endurace/cf-slx/endurace-cf-slx-8-di2/2739.html?dwvar_2739_pv_rahmenfarbe=BK%2FBK) a few months back.
I realized that the thru axle of the rear wheel is not quick release like the one in the front. Why do you think this is the case? Wouldn’t it make more sense to have both thru axles as quick release?
I haven’t had a flat tire on the go just yet, but I imagine not having quick release and having to change the tube while on the go is not very practical.
Should I get the quick release thru axle? If so, would [this one](https://www.canyon.com/en-ch/gear/bike-parts/tyresandtubes/thru-axles/dt-swiss-12×142-thru-axle-with-removable-lever/10011749.html) be the one I need? Thank you!

You can pull the leaver from the front and use it on the back…
