panaracer are good tyres, but nothing comes for free – they are so thin///
They’re fast but not durable
I mean, vs. what? They’re faster than a tire with lots of lugs, but not as fast as a road slick on pavement.
I had them for a couple years and did find I flatted a fair bit with them. I have SKs now, set up tubeless, and have been really happy.
Depends what you mean by fast. You will clock higher speeds but changing tubes will slow you down. I had them and got rid of them.

I would do those over the gravel kings any day of the week
I have them and the roll nicely and haven’t had single puncture (I run tubules)
I run then in 650bx42. Thety are pretty damn quick. I have no traction issues, you have to remember that they are slick when off road. One puncture that required a plug in 4 years, just put a new rear on this summer because they were getting a little thin.
Edit: and tubeless is a must.
Great until you get flats over and over. Just as bad as pretty much anything from wtb. Terrible sidewalls.
Try the Panaracer Gravelking Plus in 32mm. Slicks but rolls fast and durable.
Thing is that, I need to do more city riding with gravel bike so I’m looking for slick gravel tires.
Open for any recommendations for speedy but also relatively durable options. I don’t wanna change them for every 1000km
I have them. I love them. Haven’t flatted yet. Strongly suggest getting the + Plus version of them. Heavier, but worth the cost.
I have the SS in 43 and puncture ALOT with tubes, so switching to tubeless and schwalbe overland now. They are fast though. I tubeless with these for city riding could be good, but depending what you come from, they may not be alot faster. Some gravel tires are fast despite the thread
They’re fast and very grippy on the road. I’ve had them on my all-road commuter for 4 years now. Put around 1,300 miles on them on Chicago streets/paved bike paths and have had around 8 flats.
I ride a lot of mixed surface forest preserve and suburban trails now (hard pack, loose limestone, dirt, and paved) and have had 2 flats so far.
