Day 2 of cycling with a Brooks saddle and my backside is broken. Is this normal? Will it get better as the saddle settles in? Will my buttocks develop calluses?!?
Have you treated it with Proofide as per instructions? Apparently it usually takes a hundred miles or so to break them in, although my partner’s saddle was comfy right from the start.
I’m still pondering whether to get one. I like the idea but my current saddle is ok.

Just keep cycling. It will get better over time, the saddle will fit to your backside eventually.

Also a Cambium saddle could’ve been a better choice it’s a bit more flexible and needs less breaking in.
