Hello everyone.
Today I was moving my bikes and found out that my scott spark had this sticking out. I’ve never hardcore used this bike, almost always rode it on road like routes. Tomorrow I will take it to my bike store but I’d like to know what could have happened before I go there.

It looks like the shock bolt unthreaded and destroyed your frame.
Yeah I would contact the manufacturer but unless it has been happening to a bunch of their frames it is probably on you to get repaired or replaced. Sorry.
I wouldn’t speculate with the bikevshop about how it happened. I would just tell them exactly what you said here and let them figure out what went wrong.
Also, even if a bolt came loose, it could be because it wasn’t installed properly by the shop (wrong torque, no loctite, etc.)

Makes me think that maybe hiding the shock inside the frame isn’t such a good thing after all.
