ItsasLaguna on January 4, 2024 6:29 pm I need to put a rack on a Brompton H3L that I just purchased. I’m looking for informed advice on the following: 1) 100 mm wheels vs. 60 mm 2) welded racks versus collapsible racks 3) rectangular versus triangular 4) Oxelo type wheels versus more conventional easy wheels 5) the use of a wheel extender 6) the desirability of a GOrack over other racks 7) obtaining items from Aliexpress versus other sources Thanks for any feedback offered on the above. If you think that I’ve missed something, please advise.
HaziHasi on January 4, 2024 6:29 pm cheap, light, somewhat not so easy to mount: Mini Q Rack from AliXpress expensive, heavy, easy to mount but will last the lifetime of the bike: Brompton OEM Rack Kit (with rack-specific mudguard)
mugenMeow on January 4, 2024 6:32 pm I suggest the official Brompton rear rack. It has more mounting/clamping areas that other after market racks.
