I need to remove my rear rotor and understand that I need an ‘external bottom bracket’ tool to remove the lockring. I am struggling to find documentation regarding the size of my lockring; my end goal with this information is to purchase the correct external bottom bracket tool.
Here is what I know:
My bike is a 2021 Grand Canyon 5 delivered in late 2023
My lockring has 16 teeth and is ~1.75 inches in diameter
My cassette is a Shimano Deore, on it is labeled “CS-M6100 12S JAPAN”
My rear hub is labeled “FH-MT401 MALAYSIA”

[TL-LR11](https://bike.shimano.com/en-EU/product/service-upgradeparts/shimano/WP-Y8PW04100.html) is the best tool for these, they are very thin which gives poor engagement with most external tools.
