Would something like this make motorists chuckle instead of hating that I was on the road?

I had some LED spoke lights that would draw images as my wheel spun (stars, rockets, jolly roger, some other patterns) for a while until the battery pack blew up and got generally favourable reactions from motorists. Any kids who were walking by would love them.
