Been having a crazy number of flats recently (3 in 3 days) and wondering if this slight mispositioning of the rim tape is the cause? Ruled out pinch flats already and cannot seem to find any debris stuck in tyres. Hunt 4 season super dura rims + panaracer pasela 700x32c. Please help – driving me mental.

Yes, I would say that’s likely!
It definitely can!
I’m so confident that it can I will say that is certainly the cause if the flats are in that location.
yes
Very bad tape job, is this a self adhesive rim tape?
Put some black electrical tape over the hole then move the rim tape.
Absolutely.
Also when taking of the tire, try to keep the tube inside it, and also keep the orientation of the tire the same to the wheel.
Then pump the tube and see where the air leak is. It’s the easiest way to find the culprit as well to see if there isn’t and debris stuck either in tire or rim
Next time you get a flat, keep the orientation of the tube respective to the rim and how it was installed so that when you blow it up to find the puncture you can line it up to where it was and see if it is the rim or the world that caused your flat.
I had 3 flats in the same ride because of a slightly exposed spoke hole just like that.
