Bike: 2017-2019 Colnago concept
Problem: bb bearing where done for, bb needed replacement.
Solution: buy a T45bb and replace the current one.
Problem 2: reding all the documentation on the web i could find, i’m 90% certain that the bike uses the same bb as a c60

Now the bb it has at the moment as no interface to remove the metal sleeve to put in a t45 shell. instead, it fits regular 24x37x7 bearings press fit style. Furthermore, the bb area is 86.9 mm instead of the 82.5 its supposed to be. I’d really like to fit in a replacement t45bb instead of just pressfitting the bearings.
Anyone got some clues or ideas on how to proceed?

I’m not seeing the [threadfit](https://www.hikebikeandride.com/colnago-c60-c64-bb86-threadfit-82-5-bb-cup.html) inserts. Someone comment if I’m mistaken here. A few possibilities:
– This is a pre-2014, pre-threadfit frame.
– The previous owner modified the BB. If this was a team bike, this is not unheard of.
– This is a knockoff faux-nago, hence no threadfit. The way the shifter cable rubs o the frame in the BB area is kinda suspect. No idea if that’s an install issue or a tell that isn’t the bike it claims to be.
Personally, I’d return the BB, buy some NSK 6805-DDs and pillage the delrin sleeves out of an old Shimano BB to shim to 24mm. They’ll roll smoother and longer than any Enduro 37x24x7mm nonstandard bearings, plus you don’t have to think very hard to figure out what you’re seeing down there.
