Built this bike up for my son with a front brake for safety. However, this bike is far from safe. The geometry is insane as the frame has this forward angle. The toe to wheel overlap is huge. It’s an old frame that I bought for 50 bucks with the idea that it could be a great bike for my kiddo. This thing is incredibly awkward a to ride. One pro though is that it’s super easy to skid due to the funky geometry. I think this bike was some type of vintage Stayer track or time trial bike. The frame originally had drop bars with calipers and brakes. Thoughts?

Here’s what the frame looked like when I bought it. Notice how the brake is flipped on the seat stays.
