Do you see the line at the bottom of the brake pad (in line with the base of the grooves)? That’s the minimum thickness indicator and is when your pads need replacing.
No harm in replacing sooner than you need to though.

I’ve ridden them thinner than that, but no harm in replacing now. You’ll probably have to slacken the cable a bit to get the gap where you like it.

Not even close. Wear them almost down to when the grooves are gone or you can’t adjust your barrel adjust to your liking clapping force. Well done for checking though.
