Its my first attempt in making a gravel bike, and i dont know nooothing in what to start changing it

  2. Yes, *any* bicycle can be a gravel bike. There is no hard or fast rule for what a gravel bike is.

I’m 100% behind the idea of run what you brung.

Replace the chain (or at least lube it — and *not* with that can of WD40), straighten the brake pads so they hit the rims evenly and centered, re-install the rear tire & tube so the valve stem is straight, and go for a ride. It’ll let you know what else needs attention. I’m guessing the braking and shifting performance won’t be great, so take a look at the condition of the cables.

  4. whatever happened to the lever and handlebar, fix it first. then take it on the gravel and see how it performs

Yes but it needs a tuneup and probably some new parts (cables and maybe brake pads and chain), and I’m not sure what’s going on with than handlebar bump but I’m concerned that it’s damaged.

  6. Did paved roads even exist when that thing was made? (But seriously yes, it looks like it’s a gravel bike already. Just needs a new/de-rusted chain and maybe tubes/tires if they’re weather cracked.)

  7. That bike is way too big for somebody.

Ride it on gravel and it’s a gravel bike. Gravel racer? Not so much.
