In my multi-ethnic edmonton neighborhood, construction has only started on the always postponed community centre. The sign reads completion date 2017.

I live in Edmonton and I don't have a driver's license. I moved to Edmonton from Calgary primarily because the waiting period to get a driver's license is 1 year (which is crazy btw) Edmonton is a great city for cyclists, the fragile police officers don't have a problem seeing me riding on main roads which is great for me to get to work and support the community.
