I just bought the BMC URS AL TWO yesterday and it won’t arrive for a few weeks. Im curious, do any of you have any of the alloy versions of the BMC URS. If do you have an idea of what the weight might be?
I’ve been in the market for a bike to use as an everyday commuter in Wisconsin that is fun to ride and that I can also ride occasional gravel on. I found this on sale at Erik’s bikes for $1,300 so I jumped on the deal.
My racing road and XC mountain bikes are both carbon and I haven’t had an alloy bike in a long time. I figured if anything, the alloy might stand up to the salt in the Wisconsin winters a little better.
