I’m looking for a bit of advice on my first bike purchase for my upcoming Silk Road tour from france to Central Asia . I am looking to buy second hand and have found a few sellers but I don’t know shit about bikes. If anyone has time to look through the links and let me know what’s best and which to avoid that would be awesome.

That’s a *huge* ask. I think you could rename the post to ‘Suggest a bike for a long distance tour’? You may get a more focussed response.
You’ve got to get a bike that’s the right size, otherwise don’t bother.
