Thanks for everyone’s help on my last post. It was great so I thought I’d ask one more. I’m thinking of slamming my stem (think this is the term?) , but want to just remove some spacers to see how comfortable it is first before I get it cut. Can I do it myself easily ? Or should I go to my lbs to get it done. I have a torque star set already, but just scared of the internal cabling.

Looks like you have internal headset routing which is an absolute nightmare. I also assume disc brakes which means hoses would have to cut/disconnected. Brakes would need a quick bleed afterwards. My biggest gripe with new road bikes is this. Not being able to change your fit easily. My advice would be to take it to your local shop and only take out a spacer or two. Don’t full on slam it right away and let your body gradually adjust to a lower front end. Go for a good number of rides to see how it feels. Good luck!
Just to add to the other comments. This is a BMC road machine right? They usually come with split headset spacers so you can remove them without detaching the brakes. Shouldn’t really be run above the stem though so get it cut by a shop if you can’t DIY.
