Looking to get a decent starter mountain bike and currently looking at a lightly used 2021 Timberjack for $950 or a new Rock Hopper for $1000.
Also have a COOP Drt 2.1 lightly used available for $550.
Also I fit a medium Rock Hopper at the shop.
Would I also for a medium for the Timberjack? Have not had a chance to test ride it yet.
Which of these deals would be best?

Looks like it’s this [2021 Timberjack SLX 27.5+](https://www.salsacycles.com/bikes/2021_timberjack_slx_27.5) or does it have 29″ wheels? Has an air fork.
Which [Rockhopper](https://www.specialized.com/us/en/c/rockhopper) and 29 or 27.5 wheels?
[Co-op Cycles DRT 2.1](https://www.rei.com/product/106335/co-op-cycles-drt-21-bike) has 27.5″ wheels, air fork, SLX drive train.
