  1. People ride worse all the time. It isn’t optimal, though. A shop should be able to true that up and make sure the tension is even.

  2. Pretty easy fix!

    Stick a cable tie on your chain stay and put it against the rim as a gauge, then slowly rotate the rim to identify which way needs to be straightened and tighten the spoke accordingly.

    You can also pluck the spokes and tune them to the same pitch – it will be obviously which ones are loose!

  3. Looks like a single-wall rim, which I find more difficult to get perfectly true and round, but there’s no reason why that one can’t be improved.

  4. No. Pro tip: Spokes tighten in the “kind of opposite direction” when you’re looking down from the top towards the rim. 🔄 is the way to turn the nipples.
