Couple of years um working across different domains different um organizations from the c tech um organizations to um the fintech to Media to health and to the automobile industry as well all in the in the space um I I know we would be able to to share some

Of these thoughts with you um this evening and I want to really appreciate toi for um for bringing us so that we could um share some of this knowledge with our people thank you so much um however by the way if you see me look at

Agist so to say and U the former University lecturer researcher and also develops engineer data scientist as well uh and I’ve been in a space for a couple of years now uh with different um organizations ranging from automobile to real estate to pharmaceutical uh and to it um software

Development teams and and the rest um like my friend have just said uh we are very happy to share our knowledge with um many people that def be on the platform and those that may come across the video uh on how to translit from uh other jobs low income jobs to

Professional jobs that can pay you even while you are sitting at at your own Comfort thank you very much thank you very much thank you for coming to share this with my audience today um but first things first um I’m sure some might be hearing agile for the first time you know there

Are so many fields in it you know so many but we just want to understand exactly what this is all about and who can go into it can somebody like me who has a law background go into it or does it have to be somebody who has a computer science background right can

Anybody at all go into this space all right okay let me take that quickly um before I take that I I I would like to set this premise um so a couple of days I was um watching the news then I realized that um from the news that that

The government of the UK are currently um investigating um some of these um issues got to do with cosos with people that have migrated in and I and I felt that um I felt a bit pain because most of our people um after after really spending a fortune um migrating to the

UK they uh most of them had now found themselves um stocked in either the health sector or just doing the those located jobs and I said why would we expend so much from the knowledge and the capacities um we came in with um some of us we were working in major

Industries back at home or from wherever we could have come from then I said to myself are people really need to know that these are some of those opportun unties that would make life easy for you they are smart work they are intelligent work we are knowledge workers so um now

When we call when we talk about the agile space um behind all those products or Services we see either in the banking sector which is the fintech um Insurance Auto mobile um pharmaceutical even Health they have a structure that is based on hey so there are some of

Those individuals that are core iing aside from those that are call it this there are there is now the layer of project management all these products or projects they are well run and managed properly so they had space fits into the project management back end that ensured that all these organizations make

Success so to answer your question directly to toi um anybody with that sound mind could transition from wherever you coming from into the project into the agile project management space um out of all these organizations a larger percentage of them over 80% of these organizations major organizations from

The Medium um scale to the large scale organizations have it structure and they have project management structure that backs those up so everybody anybody could actually transit to this space and these are well high paid um P great job and that will give us um lots of um um

Peace of Mind um um also thank you you I guess sorry so IM I asked the question somebody else asked so that’s to show you that my audience and I we think alike so now because you have mentioned money and um um that one is likely or

Yes to earn more money or a high amount of money in this field what are the kind of jobs that one can get after this training doctor yeah thank you very much uh just before I answer the that question just to emphasize more on what uh an just said you know somebody like

Me I’m a biologist like I mentioned earlier and a researcher University lecturer so from my first degree to my PhD level it has been biology plant inser and yet I was able to translit from uh research to Industry and since I’ve been in Industry it has been Ai Ai

And as a matter of fact some of the guys that we have uh trained here in the UK and um even in the US I could remember a lady uh that hairdresser that became uh a scrum master and working in two different organization making over2

200,000 in a year so you know so anybody it’s is it’s all about mindset which is exactly what even a itself preached so you know is all about mindset what is your whole mindset do are you ready to to to take the PO by the hor you know so

Uh in terms of um how much can you ear and how I don’t know do you ask how difficult the job or something like that sorry you mot as well I can’t yeah what kind of jobs can you get after this stre okay okay yeah so in terms of types of job

We can you can get after this um training so we have three major parts we have the scrum Master we have product owner we have business analysis so and uh there is a way we always encourage people so for those that want to go into product ownership of a team we always

Encourage them to have scroll Master along with it so that you know because as a product owner many organization also wants people that have this uh ability to to manage the team when uh the scroll Master is not available and it’s also a plus to you for example

Those that we do train we always when we are preparing them for interview we give them a kind of interview prep like okay these are the things you have to say to to give you a hedge uh I mean an hedge during the interview process so as a

Scrum Master you can become aile project manager you can become a delivery manager you can become project manager you can become change manager you can become uh um IT project manager uh man and delivery manager a performance lead a coach and the rest then as a product owner you can also become product

Manager you can become uh product owner itself business analyst uh um um what’s it called what’s the name of this R um uh uh uh also can work as a change manager and uh what’s the name I forgot the name of this Ro the one transformation manager transformation manager and the one the

Role of Jerry I forgotten the the role the perance no no no no the other Jerry okay anyway don’t worry so those are the jobs you can you can get so as a product owner you can become a business analyst easily and as a business analyst you can

Become a product owner the only thing is that as a business analyst you can’t it may be very very difficult for you to get a scrum Master job and that is why we always advise if you want to pick product owner pick product owner and scroll Master if you want to be a

Business analyst pick business analyst and scroll Master because both scroll I mean product owner and business analyst they can work interchangeably but you can’t work as a scr master and you need to have this double hedge above others yeah thank you very much all right let

Me add to that quickly I I’m told you before you you you come um you call me um when we check job job roles online what is very important for us to always check um is the job description itself so when you check those job descriptions you would

See most of these roles in the agile space that you readily fit into um different organizations could give it different names as they suit it well um enough but by the time you beyond what just doctor had mentioned by the time you check those job descriptions you’ll

Be able to pinpoint Point what you now have have capacity to deliver on then you can now readily begin to prepare to um to um um to um to apply for those roles um just as an as as an addition okay okay um so still talking

About jobs and money what is the salary range what are we looking at okay let me let me take that um what I’m smiling is when it comes to that salary range I I I I I I always smile when it comes to that that stage

Um the minimum you can hand in the industry is from 48 48,000 per 48,000 per an um we we trained some folks that and as much as um 75 um 80 90 90,000 per Han um personally I without without mentioning names I I know individuals that hand so well as

Much as 70 75,000 per and um I wouldn’t want to say or encourage that you you now have capacity to H um to multi function which also increases your your grade but but directly anybody that checks online you will see that in the agile space the

List you could come by would be from 48,000 upwards and of course the job itself is a is a managera role which comes soft which directly your job is about um attending meetings you are not lifting weight you are not um sometimes you don’t even need

To go out you just sit in the comfort of your home you know but directly for the pay grad from 48 upwards you begin to see different different roles with different grades thank you okay okay um but do we have as well because sorry Toshi sorry Toshi just just just to uh

Uh give more insight on what an just said you know because we have different uh uh type of pay which we all know for those that are in the UK contractor and and um permanent so for those that choose to work as a contractor you can

As well hand as much as a 500 pounds per day 700 pounds per day and I could remember I think I applied for one job like that I told you I know one Co 1,000 pounds per day in in lond so so it’s as

Much uh you know you can get as much as that and as I’m talking to you even in my own organization we have contractors that are handing 650 pounds per day and this guy has been working for over how many years now two years so just calculated and most contractor even when

I was working I don’t want to mention company when I was working as a contractor in one big organization in this same country you taking them you know we don’t go we contractor we don’t like going to for any leave or Hol day because you know every day every hour

Can so we want to make more money and more so so you even you won’t have any reason to even book for any leave because you are as I’m talking to you now I’ve been to my office for how many over how many months now I’ve not been to the office

For over many months so it’s as if I’m taking leave while working so you don’t have any reason to take leave so you can hand as much as that if you choose to work as a contractor thank you very much okay okay um still talking about

Jobs and salaries and all are there jobs readily available in this like if I finish this training now am I going to get a job immediately okay yeah thank you very much on that one uh yes no it depends on you we usually use one language said be

Intentional so it depends on your own intent if you are not if you are the kind okay for example there are people we trained last month we’ve been encouraging them them to to start um uh their own uh application to start applying whereas those that we we trained in September they’ve started uh

Attending uh interviews and why are those people in August yet to start up because they were like they want everything to be ready before and when it comes to job there is nowhere in the world that you have what we call 100% job ready and that is why we are not pro

Promising you that we are going to give you job but it all depends on your own intention if you want to get a job quickly then you have to put in uh the efforts you have to do what is necessary at least you must we always advise our

Our traines that you have to submit nothing less than 20 applications per day 20 the jobs are there but always remember that we have millions of people applying for the same job so the only way you can secure uh interview is to apply as much as you can that is number

One and even before that your CV which we are going to help you with so we will work together ensure that you have a CV a resume that can compete positively with other resumes in the uh application pool so because there are for those that didn’t know there are many organizations they have

Um system they have software that they use to sort out uh applications and that is why sometimes you submit application within 1 hour even if you submit 12 midnight before 1:00 a.m. you will receive we regret unfortunately and all those stuff because they have software there are those things that they have

Instructed the software to pick and and if you don’t follow that your application will just be picked out immediately so those are the things we will guide you to know exactly what and what you need to put into your resume to help you to get uh interview so that is

The first stage the second stage is the interview itself which we are going to prepare you from the onset we will start as we are coaching you we are throwing interview questions to you and funny enough you have HED one interview question what does a mean that’s one of

The major questions you will definitely find on on the job I mean in the in interviews it we ask you explain to us what does a mean to you explain a to a lay man so we won’t Define it the way we are not going to Define we are going to

Give it explanation with scenarios so that it will show that we understand this thing mind you when we are training you we are giving you a kind of knowledge what you have not done before we are giving you a knowledge that you will claim that you have five years

Experience and I will now lie to you no organization will give you a job in this it no organization want to pay you 70,000 and you want you want to tell the organization that you have just one year experience they won’t give you the job

So we want a situation we’ll be able to train you on your resume you’ll be able to claim three four five years experience and you’ll be able to defend yourself so those are the things we can assure for you but in terms of job itself there are jobs but you must do

Your own part to get that job thank you very much all right let me let me make a quick um quick addition to that there are like three major stages the first one that we are so certain that we would deliver adequately on is that we will

Train you very well you will be adequately trained you would ear the knowledge to be a professional in that space and our training and comes with lot of handson tools and practical sessions where you be able to relate with what you can always talk to what you can always um draw experience

From um when you’ve now been adequately trained then we will now also prepare you for interviews we would prepare you for how to apply um um well enough just as Doctor mentioned because again having being trained adequately you then now need to apply but even when you learned

The job will still be supporting you um so it’s a journey from the beginning all through to the ending um then let me hand with this for now if for from whatever pay grade that individuals are and you want to Transit into a 50k 70k um 8 K 90k job um

Grade you should be ready to put that commitment you should be ready to put that intentionality into it too we would train you adequately we would prepare you for interviews we will prepare you for the job we would support you with all the needed um information that you

Need and to also get the job thank you very much thank you very much so we have some questions here already let’s take some all right so Lauren is asking how long does agile training take and what is the cost of the training um Jesse Rand also ask the same question how long

Does this training take and how much does it cost doctor you want to take it okay uh thank you very much so uh uh we have one months for the training and we because we want to ensure that uh we encourage you throughout the journey we extend it to

Two months so that for the first month what you actually do we will give you all the uh necessary knowledge that you that you need so we give it to you we train you we give you both practical and Theory then and that is where the word

In int you need to be intentional because we will now try to carry you along to give you more practical we are on the field already we are in the space we have it projects that we will show to you that okay these are the things we are doing these are

The questions they may ask you in for example like I said you can’t claim you have a 5 years experience and they are you tell us software development life cycle and you don’t know it they were like H but you said you’ve been working in a space for 5 years how come you

Don’t know software de development life cycle so after the one month because we want to guide you want to support you we give you one month free of charge to still be with us to continue to train you in Practical aspects so that’s just like an extra why we have a community of

Practice which you will still join will still be with us and only that we may not doing the normal training again so the first month is the actual training the second month is for us to still carry you along to hold you by by by the hand and take you through the Journey

Why the remaining months till you get the job or even after you get the job is for for you to be with us to reval to you more if we have any questions if there are new things that come up in the community we share it with you so that

You have the knowledge you know what is going on and even we ourselves we still attempt interviews just for us to get the latest interview questions and reveal them to you we record our interviews we give it give them to you to listen so that you know how to

Respond to interviews so that is that is the whole thing so one month is the hardare training the remaining one month is just an uh extra this thing giveaway that we are giving to you while we had you to the to our community of practice for till you

Get job or to you feel like no I know enough so I don’t need the community of practice again that’s it thank you very much okay and and the cost um the cost is £1,500 for the whole um um um duration and it comes also with the certification

Test um we didn’t mention that earlier after your training we also prepare you to write the certification uh test and the certification test just as I mentioned it’s not a certificate it’s a global certification from the creator of that role itself so um the certification test you would write would be

Recognized anywhere in the world um then also um we have a flexible payment plan also which allows you to be able to spread your payments within within months um why we needed to do that is that um we try to understand with our people that because really the more the area and um

Beyond people TR sitting to the UK um for instance um we should be able to step up the game so we we try to find a balance when I okay rather than everybody based on your capacity if you want to have that flexible payment plan also so that you can pay installmentally

Within 3 months then you can also take that Advantage um at the same time thank you okay so the cost is 1,500 but there’s room for insturmental payment as well right um so we have another question can I do it online oh it’s totally online our classes are totally virtual

Um it’s not it’s not a locational training um so this is how it works um anyone that signs up for the training we would go through the onboarding process which will give you all the needed access you need um where to join resources books um video Preparatory courses then you’ll

Not be attending the classes online and we make it flexible too so that um everybody could really benefit for as many that want to to do that transitioning um should be able to do that so all the classes they are all virtual they are all um online Okay um have the next question

Here I have interest moving to the UK but I need a sponsor can I get a sponsor from agile after the training doctor you want to take that okay yeah um on that one uh I need to be sincere with you uh the fact Still Remains

That if you are in the UK there is possibility for you to get uh response as a matter of fact one of the guys we trained got job recently with NHS and straight with uh sponsorship but from outside UK I cannot I cannot guarantee that sincerely I canot but even uh for

Example some of our folks in Nigeria they got job in uh South Africa as uh as um as a scroll Master but for those uh in Nigeria and another country to get scroll Master job in the United Kingdom it will be very very difficult sincerely thank you yeah thanks for your

Sincerity okay we have the next question question here can one combine agile and data scientist analysis learning or practice oh let me take that um yes yes you can um one of our folks recently um got a job about um two months ago and um the Hedge he had is that he

He has some data analysis capabilities too mind you some of this um training would give would expose you to that when you went for the interview it was a scroll Master interview but then but they now specified that anyone that has this as some additional Edge so of

Course um you could you could combine agile with uh with data sciences that is even give you some more Edge however to for those that may not have that data analyst role just as I mentioned while I started it’s an agile project management space you are managing others working

You are supporting teams to work in aile methodology so what you need is the sound knowledge of the Haile space is to be able to demonstrate delivery is to be able to demonstrate it iterative fast um Quality delivery too so either you have the the data science or not yes when you

Have such as data data scientist um um capacity that could um push you further too thank you okay um I just saw this from KU let me just add something quickly um now yes we appreciate his sincerity but remember he said it’s going to be difficult not

It’s going to be impossible to get a job from outside the UK just note that okay I don’t believe in impossibilities you if everything depends on you when it comes to searching for jobs home and abroad it just depends on you how you sell yourself in your CV right you know the

Experience you have your skills it just depends and you can get that job no matter how difficult it is sometimes when you see people in you know we all talk about care assistants moving to the UK care assistant moving to the UK but we forget that you can move to the UK in

Your field no matter the field that you are there’s somebody that has gotten a sponsorship job in that field and have moved to the UK sometimes when I see some people say they are fied and I’m like really you got a job from Nigeria or from Africa in this field and the

Person says yes and I and I I’ll be like oh truthfully nothing is impossible so if you set your mind towards it and work on it if you really want to move abroad you just have to be deliberate about your search and you know you get a job

Some of us just apply for jobs one 2 3 we’re not getting and sleep no if you’re applying for jobs you have to put in the work and be patient just keep applying until you get that one yes that you’re looking for let let me have to that

Quickly toi okay um I I think there is something we we also need to know I and appreciate more is that knowledge that even comes before getting a job or that could come before getting sponsorship we should be able to know the work it is more important when we are properly

Trained and have the value that we can deliver on when you have it when you’ve got it then you have something to show um I want to say that the space these roles developed World they look for competence that will stand out so beyond just we want to Transit we should put

Our minds also and look at where we can be thoroughly trained where we can be properly trained to have the knowhow and the knowhow will speak for you when you go for for for interviews these days people walk from from anywhere um the sound knowledge that you consistently work on will now

Deliver the gold to you thank you thank you um to still on walking from anywhere Lauren is still asking can one walk abroad with it why still in Nigeria remote jobs I mean yes just like I I mentioned uh some of our folks in Nigeria got job in South Africa

So is very very uh possible and the funnest part of it is that even those that are here also got the same job in Nigeria as side so instead of them to convert P to na they just using the salar over there to settle Nigerian bills why they keep

Their pants here in the UK so you can get job uh outside uh the country yeah only that you just need to be consistent with your application because I won’t like to you when you start submitting application you will get because some of us we easily get tired once we submit

One two three applications and we get we regret unfortunately we just get but they said there is there are jobs everywhere why is it that I’m not getting the job why this regret so you just need to be consistent with your applications continue to submit until

You get your own job that is that is the key that is the role of the game yeah thank you very much yeah yeah think I agree with you doctor and one thing with remote jobs is you can work with any company of your choice while you are

Anywhere so you can be in the UK and be working for a US company you can be in Nigeria working for a UK company a Denmark country a you know South African said so you can even in the UK here you can be in Manchester and your company

Will be in London you know so for the last for the last one year I I’ve been working from home fully from home I’ve never stepped out yeah so there are lots of those yeah so that’s one good thing about um remote jobs and it can give you that flexibility right

Um okay we have have one more question from KU he says I’m currently a bank teller so it’s hard for me can I get a CO coach is it hard for you to join the training or please can you just tell us just help us is it hard for you to join the

Training or hard for you to so they will know and before he response how is it training is it a daily training or a weekend training or just so people can know are working okay we I’ll go by the last batches that we have we we train three times in a

Week um at the evenings so um that makes it flexible that makes that makes it convenient for some of our people to to join in and the um the October badge is currently in uh in in training actually today we have a training that will be coming up so we have three times

Weekly um evening time so that that makes it um workable for our people then um we have resources also lot of resources that fills in that Gap I do not want to say so that that will not be held upon that um because we don’t encourage trainers to miss classes but we have

Resources that would give you rich knowledge also um even when you make need to miss any class at the same time so we we have trainings three times in a week okay okay um yeah sorryi on that one thing I can as well say which I’m very very B of is uh that

Apart from uh a x and some other uh trainers you cannot find any um trainer that will give you some of the resources we expose it to for example apart from we have e-learning on our LinkedIn we have lot of ebooks that you find there apart from there we also

Have a YouTube channel where we recorded all our um classes so you can even get that free of charge we don’t care but you know the apart from viewing the the listening to to those audio on YouTube you can still come back to us so to ask

More questions so for those if you attend the training and you didn’t get uh maybe you you have the idea and you know some people they may be shy to ask question you have the opportunity to go online on our Tu and YouTube channel and also on our LinkedIn to look for those

Uh recorded um audios to listen to again and come back to us to ask questions so and apart from that we have ebooks that we bought and we are given to our training free of charge so that’s is part of the things we do and you
