Just got my first carbon bike, but it arrived with some damage/deflect on the fork.
The store offered a partial refund or an exchange. The exchange would take a hassle because I need to disassemble the bike, put in the box and ship it back. Plus, this is the last one in this color and size from this store. But a partial refund means my first carbon bike is imperfect đŸ˜‘
Does this just cosmetic and won’t get worse in the long run? Can I get warranty replacement on this?

This looks like factory defect, not shipping damage.
Tell them to send you a new fork or cover costs of buying different one (partial refund qualifies as this, and you could probably ride on it, but I wouldn’t fuck with it. Teeth are more expensive)
What brand is this? That is unacceptable, tell them to send you a new fork.
If Specialized it telling you that’s not structural (I personally agree with that), I would take the partial refund and ride-on. Your bike is *going* to be imperfect (if you use it)—this just gets that first blemish over with right away.
the hell man? Just accept the refund and enjoy your carbon bike with the refund cash in your pockets. You will probably stratch the fork just like that on your first serious gravel ride as the bike seems to be gravel anyways. Like what the hell people commenting and thinking in any way this could be structural damage? Did you even attend elementary school?
I would not mess around with any kind of damage on a carbon fork, even if it’s only a very remote possibility.
Nope not acceptable, a local dealer is still associated with Specialized, make them help you!!! Specialized cost on that product is nothing and if they cant make it right then return it and never buy another Specialized product again… Just my 2 cents….
