Hey guys, I received my replacement pathlite 6 from FedEx the other day.
And this time around, I followed the advice that many of you gave me in my previous post, when the derailleur snapped off on the other pathlite,
and took it straight to my local bike shop and had them tune the derailleur, they even used a special tool that aligned/straightened the hanger, which I didn’t even know existed!
She rides extremely smooth, and I’ve clocked her in at 20mph with a gps speedometer app.
Until I can get it properly wrapped, I’m keeping the plastic that came on it with some extra tape, to keep it protected as well.
I also mounted a couple of 7 inch 6000 lumen 24v lightbars from amazon powered by snow joe batteries with powerwheels adapters.
Please keep it friendly, as I’m still a noob to the expensive bike realm, and I have no idea how to tune, so that’s why I had the bikeshop do the tuning, to avoid screwing anything up.

  1. Don’t worry too much about frame protection unless you’re constantly locking it to metal posts.

But dear Lord what is going on with that light setup? That’s going to get tangled up and be a general headache. Get yourself a dedicated bike light
