  1. You can try and adjust tension on the lever end as it may have some adjustment available. However if you are on a long ride you really should be carrying a multitool or basic tool kit for your bike…

    Pop the spring out on the side that’s ticking and bend it away from the wheel slightly. This will increase tension and pull that arm further from the rim. But if you bend it too far the other side will be touching so be careful.

    Just dusconnect the brake pop the tire off if its got a quick release. Put the tire back on and reconnect the brake. I find sometimes that does the trick. Dunno why. Lol
