    Look up a quick tutorial. It’s not difficult as long as you have the tools to undo the shock from the frame. You just need to remove the shock entirely, then unscrew the preload adjustment ring until it comes off, swap the spring for a new one of appropriate weight and in the right size, and then reassemble.

  2. Sadly with that linkage system you need to disassemble the whole rocker & links… should‘ve got a capra instead 😛

  3. Doesn’t propain have any sort of user’s manual, blue book, or anything resembling how to operate your bike? Even if you undo the bolts and take out the shock, the tiny details about torque specs and some other shenanigans are usually specified in those sorts of manuals.

  4. Make sure you use a torque wrench to tighten up the linkage bolts once you’re done swapping the spring.
