Mists of Hereford and the Hills of Great Malvern Cycle Ride

A cycle ride around Hereford city and the hills of Great Malvern in England.

I’ve had Great Malvern down in my note pad as an idea for a cycle ride for a while. I had another plan to try and fit in an extra Christmas Special cycle ride film but it fell through as the logistics just didn’t work out. I had a short amount of time to try and come up with an alternative location that I could achieve avoiding the train strikes and finding a day where the weather would work. I picked Great Malvern and slotted in Hereford to fill the day.

There was only one day in December that I could do this ride and thankfully the weather held out beautifully as did the trains.

The Great Malvern Hills were much larger and more imposing than I imagined they would be and turned out to be the perfect end to my cycle rides for 2023.
