    That is normal on freehub bodies, especially when the freehub body is aluminum and the cassette uses steel cogs.

    It’s not really cause for concern

  2. This is liable to happen on aluminium freehub bodies as other people have noted.

    The torque ratings on cassettes is very very high, upwards of 40nm, ostensibly to try to prevent this but that’s no sure prevention. It shouldn’t really cause any issues but it does bug me too. I much prefer a steel freehub body tbh.
