Get the go ahead we let them go we try to keep calm so that the residents don’t start panicking next baroness Michelle moan has hit back at Rishi sunak over his intervention in the PPE R insisting ministers knew about her involvement in the lucrative contract from the beginning the Tory peer who’s
Repeatedly denied that she’d profited from the deal admitted publicly that she lined to the media and stood to benefit from 60 million pounds in profit over a contract signed at the height of the covid crisis four out of five dentists in England are no longer taking on new
NHS patients according to a new report by the nuffield trust NHS Dentistry is at its most perilous point in its 75 year history due to access issues a lack of funding and the pandemic and scientists have found that serving up seasonal veg with your Christmas dinner can reduce the risk of cancer

Today uh your texts uh to 872 start your message with the word talk emails talk today at talk. TV we want some involvement don’t we we certainly do um Emily Rosen was just talking there about the state of dentistry in this country a big report out today by the nfield trust
Saying NHS services in England at their most perilous Point yet radical uh reforms needed to slow the Decay I mean we know that covid had a massive impact people resorting to DIY at Dentistry we want to know your experiences of trying to get access to a dentist
Uh what it’s like the costs involved we talk every day don’t we about how difficult it is to get a doctor’s appointment but Sarah’s absolutely right this this story on the front of the uh the mail I can’t find it right now NHS dentists on the brink worst in 75 years
Does that affect you is that your story um we have uh labor front bencher Darren Jones talking about Labor’s plan to deal with that because it is undoubtedly a crisis also later on big story uh front of most newspapers today the government’s expected to announce later
New guidance for schools on how to deal with trans pupils this is such a contentious issue uh we want to know from you what do you make of this should teachers tell parents if their kids are showing signs of transitioning at school we’re both parents I would absolutely
Want to know you might think differently please do get in touch yeah we’re going to be hearing from a teacher as to what they think about the guidelines that are being issued uh by the government get in touch with us talk today at talk. TV you
Can tweet us at talk TV or you can text word t in your message 287 tr2 but the biggest talking point this morning very scary workplace XS what most annoys you about your colleagues I seem to do most of this uh number one filming is well this is you
Filming yourself on others for social media videos is the thing that lovely um next on the list is vaping vaping yeah and and pens stealing pens and clicking I don’t steal them I just click them which is very annoying um this is Emily Rose Adam bragging about your exercise
Routine and both of you lot I’ve done my steps today cold water swimmers are you cold water no I’ve done it once I did tell everybody though did you and here’s my the tame building activities we’re going to go on a weekend away we’re all going to talk about how we could be
Better people it’s a bit boring is it co-workers who are overly cheery in the morning hello is my favorite meetings that could have been by email I’ve told you the story this is true was in the office about three months ago blo was no further away than Emily Rose Adams to me
And he went he sent me an email saying can we have a catchup just talk to me the world’s gone workx come on what you got you’re very cheerful in the mornings is that not a good thing you sing actually I do you sing yeah she’s only
Saying that it’s in the shower NZ um colleagues demand the air conditioning onus in the studio I’m going to turn over and you leavea it is fair to say here is warm and there is cod you you can have this exactly how you want it is entirely down
To you ladies I absolutely bow down to you but in terms of how hot or cold it is you see perilous seamless seamless nazanine gaffer what’s happening weatherwise it’s mild but there are hints at something a bit colder across northern areas as we head towards Christmas which means there’s a possibility of snow For times radio sponsors talk TV weather good morning most of this week it’s looking mild and wet but as we head towards Christmas Eve and Christmas Day there will be some colder air starting to filter through across northern areas and any moisture that hits that will likely turn wintry especially so on high
Ground but until then there’s a lot weather to be had a lot of windy weather as well from Wednesday into Thursday we’re going to see some very strong winds the Met Office already have warnings en forced for the northern half of the UK for the brisk winds this
Morning it’s a breezy start it’s a wet start we’ve seen the outbreaks of rain spread across these areas uh elsewhere it’s mostly dry bright across the north but lots of showers over Northwestern parts of the UK now into this afternoon that rain eventually clears away southwards from the Midlands Central
Southern and Eastern England so lots of sunshine and dry conditions it will continue Sunny across Scotland and Northern Ireland but there will be showers over these areas particularly to the west and some of them are likely to turn wintry over the tops of the Highlands and for England and Wales as I
Said that rain clearing southeastward so plenty of sunshine for this afternoon a fine end of the day just the odd shower to possible across parts of northern England at the north of Wales temperature slightly lower than the last few days still very mild in the South but everywhere else we’re up into the
High single figures and then overnight we continue with a rash of showers across northern and western parts of the UK there will still be some wintry outbreaks likely across the highlands a touch of frost in some spots under the clearer Skies further south and east and
It will be mostly dry and clear for the Midland Central Southern and Eastern England into Wednesday and that’s when we’ll start to see the winds really pick up in strength and another batch of wet weather starting to slide through from the Northwest and move southwards across Scotland Ireland Northern Ireland and
The north and west of England and Wales through tomorrow so this is the mid-afternoon picture a rather wet one across much of Scotland perhaps towards abedin share bit dry but quite a cloudy Affair northern islands seeing outbreaks of patchy rain patchy rain for northern and western parts of England as well as
Much of Wales but the East Midland Eastern and Southeastern England I think generally dry but quite a dull Day times radio sponsors talk TV weather thank you so much and as right to our top story for Tuesday morning home secret James cleverly is set to be questioned by peers this afternoon on the Rwanda Asylum deal last week the bill passed its second vote in the House
Of Commons despite threats of a rebellion from some conservative m joining us now I’ll talk to these political correspondent list of Fitzgerald former home office advisor she’s actually come in today CLA pural both of what what is it some sort of Christmas lookalike outfit competition yeah it’s super festive isn’t it Happy
Christmas wasn’t um Claire let’s start with you Alysa if you don’t mind CLA um th this this whole Rwanda thing for me Alysia has been going on for so long we’ve talked about it we talked about it when it was introduced we talked about it before its second reading we talked
About it we’re talking about it today because it’s going in front of the Lords many people in this country still believing that this is not the answer and they can’t believe that this is the hill that many people think that rishy sunak has chosen to die on with the
Greatest of respect yes this was introduced by Boris Johnson and pretty Patel if you even remember their names so has happened since then I feel like we’ve had multiple new conservative leaders and multiple well not multiple home secretaries we’ve had two home secretaries since that so lots of people
Will have been hearing about this scheme for a very long time now it’s certainly not the end of it either obviously it’s got this vote again in January when it returns to the commons and even so it will still have three more stages in the House of Commons before it passes to the
House of Lords it gets goes through all the processes there and then gets sent back to the commons so this is definitely not the end of it either so CL what what can James cleverly expect in the House of Lords today I think he’s going to get questioned quite heavily on
Why the government uh assumes Rwanda to be a safe place it’s all very well to put some legislation down saying that it is but where is the it is doesn’t mean it is absolutely I mean you could say the Moon is green if you like and put it
In legislation doesn’t make it so and I think they are going to question quite heavily as to what the evidence is how they’ve got it and what they’re going to do to ensure that that is in force going forward it’s all very nice to have a treaty but if you can’t ensure Rwanda
Are going to abide by it then what is the point of the whole policy in its entirey my problem with it CLA is and I don’t know what Sarah thinks we’re talking about a few hundred people I go back to this every single week to the point where I’m boring myself there
170,000 people waiting to be protested he’s chosen this policy which whether it works or not I don’t even know what works means now it’s become a sort of an ego trip why are we not you worked in the home office nobody ever answers this question to me why is not a politician
Having the gumption to stand up in front of the British people who are fed up with the immigration situation and say I’m going to do my best to change the home office and make it fit for purpose and come up with a processing system that gets rid of the backlog that’s what
I don’t understand and it is very simple you have to put more casew workers in this this but they’re spending 400 million in the end on Rwanda why not spend that on casew workers or implementing new guidelines in the home office as I say none of this is rocket
Science it is very simple you have a large backlog you have cases you need case workers so I don’t understand why we are spending so much money on something which sols maybe 200 people if it ever gets off the ground and let’s not forget there are no planes involved
In this I was just going to talking of rocket science if you’re going to have a policy which talks about flying people to Rwanda you’ve got to have the planes it’s fairly basic isn’t it and we’ve learned that they they don’t have the planes and the commercial airlines don’t
Want to be involved is that commercial airlines airports don’t want to be involved the Air Field that has been identified needs a huge amount of money spending to get it up to scratch all adding to that I think it’s bosam isn’t it have you been there no I have but all
Adding to that tally of huge expenditure before a single flight is taken off well exactly so much money has already been spent on this scheme but so much of it is still not sorted out yet as you say there’s Logistics with the planes itself and then we’ve obviously got this bill
That that seeks to change the Rwanda scheme as it currently is so so much of it it’s still really uncertain but the trouble is is the money that’s already been spent we can’t really get it back that’s the issue lots of people in the um various committees across the House
Of Commons were saying that we won’t be able to get the money back from Rwanda that we’ve already spent so they could just be walking off with a big wood of cash and nothing to show for it but list see one of the things that people have
Said to me over the last few weeks and I’ve be really interested in Sarah’s opinion on this is that that that sunak knows that he can’t get this done he knows that he won’t get any flights off the ground and his political uh approach
Is I tried for you and I got thwarted by judges in Strasburg and the labor party and everybody but nobody seems in his inner circle to go it’s essentially not a very good idea that’s you know it’s costing upwards of 400 million quid and you might shift 500 if you get a chance
The issue is is we’re obviously approaching a general election that would be pretty much any time next year we think and potentially January 2025 but we doubt it will be that late most people assume it will be within the coming months so Richi sunak is in a bit
Of a hard situation personally and personally and politically because if he back tracks on this policy his critics will say oh we goodness you’ve wasted all this money you’ve dedicated so much of your time as prime minister to this and now at the very last moment you’re
Admitting it doesn’t work if he carries on with it though people will just say what is going on with this it doesn’t work and there is no evidence that it’s ever going to work and CLA we’ve got Richie soon KN up before the liaison committee uh this afternoon how big a a
A line of questioning there a lot for them to get through Theon committee do we know the aison committee well Alysia will be able to tell us it’s it’s all the chair of all of the Parliamentary committees it happens three times a year and it’s a chance for the chairs of each
Select committee and every so every department has a committee so that’s like the home office the foreign office the Department of Health for example and the chair of each of these committees have a chance to sit with rishy sunak for 10 minutes in a big boardroom if you
Like and question him on questions that fall within their remit obviously home Affairs are going to be a big one Rwanda migration Foreign Affairs as well we’ve got two Wars on at the moment so all of these we can expect some pretty big grillings as well as the economy as
Well as Alysia said we’re heading towards a general election we we’re pretty much likely to be the election year uh next year um so I mean how big a factor is this actually when it comes to people going to the polls I don’t think this is a huge issue
It isn’t right up there on people’s priority list IM imig it really isn’t the top of the list you start talking to people what they really want is to be able to get a doctor’s appointment they want to get their kid into the school of their
Choice and they want their bills to be uh cheaper the major item I would I would disagree only in that I think so much time is given to immigration that I think it’s at the Forefront of people’s minds I agree with you about cost of living certainly the front of the the
The male we’re talking later you can’t get a dentist’s appointment you can’t get a doctor’s appointment you can’t get you can’t do anything anymore so I get that but I think it’s become this sort of battle which is why and I just want I would love um a lot of people won’t do
This today but I want to do this on page eight of the sun um we heard last week of course quite rightly that that that story of a young man who apparently took his own life and everybody told me that you know it was a an awful place and
It’s set up awfully by the government and that might well be the case today at Nick Parker an exclusive BB2 held on bar sex attack and and before we get into headlines we talked to a woman the other day from Portland in dorsy who said I’ve
Retired I spent all my life working I bought my house I now go into the town on a Saturday and then it’s overrun with migrant men whether they’re legal or illegal and these sorts of things can happen and that is that is undoubtedly a concern a concern for people is it not
CLE it absolutely is and when you look at where the barge is situated Portland is an incredibly small place to impor an entire community of single males into it was always going to be a problem so whilst that is an appalling act if it has happened it is under investigation I
Think we must be aware of that then it needs to be dealt with quickly but the home office also needs to be looking at why it is not processing people why it is not screening people a lot quicker because these people may well have committed crimes in other countries they
May well have committed crimes we don’t know and we don’t know so the home office needs to get their act together and sort that out because that has got to be important for communities across the UK not just in Portland complely um the foreign secretary is going to be
Discussing illegal immigration he’s off to France for talks on Gaza Ukraine and illegal uh immigration today David Cameron’s been quite outspoken over the issue of the Ceasar he’s now calling for a sustainable Ceasar and it seems Alysa that he has shifted or LED a shift in government policy on this because R shei
Soon at yesterday using the phrase sustainable does that mean by the way sustainable it sounds to me like something a lot bigger than a human for sustainable means it lasts doesn’t it yes it means it lasts it means it doesn’t come in with immediate effect it doesn’t just mean that everyone just
Drops all their weapons now and leaves things as it is because the governments still are concerned about hostages for example and they’re also concerned that Hamas won’t abide by the ceasefire rules so I think this is just a more watered down version of saying that we can maybe
Try and reach a ceasefire over a shorter period of time if we get make sure wording isn’t it that’s what they love doing it’s politicians they like to use a specific word that no one can quite pin down or def fine and no one knows exactly what they mean by that the whole
Problem with ceasefire CLA is and and and again we talked about this before the show it’s a very difficult subject anybody who doesn’t describe October the 7th as terrorist genocide is is is is stupid in my opinion but nobody wants to see what’s happening um there is a way
For this to stop which is for Hamas to give the hostages back that’s never going to happen because they’re human shields uh you will also quite rightly as Sarah says notice a shifts from America and from the world in general whether that comes to bear or not but it
Doesn’t show that sustainable ceasefire to me is just woolly I don’t know what it means it is because no one really has the solution and it doesn’t matter how much International pressure is piled on it is entirely down to Hamas to mend their behavior which is appalling but
Also for Israel to make some concessions as well and that’s a really difficult conversation to have and nobody can look at this from just one prism this is awful and civilians on both sides are suffering so sustainable ceasefire total ceasefire whatever you want to call it
You need to be able to bring this to a close because people are dying on both and you need to know what happens the day after and at the moment the US and Israel have a very different view on what happens the day after don’t they H
CLA uh Alysia thank you both very much indeed still to come here on talk today motorists brace for a Sharp rise in fuel prices as BP suspends shipments in the Red Sea and longl British teenager Alex batty breaks his silence that’s some story writer Emma wolf from the Times

Getting a policy out of Labor sometimes feels like pulling teeth see what we did there just after 7 Shadow Chief secret to the treasury Darren Jones tells us about his party’s proposals to rescue NHS dentistry and later on do not miss this a talk today exclusive after murderer and pedophile John Venable’s
Parole bid was rejected we’ll have an exclusive interview with the father of James buer Ralph who quite rightly believes in my opinion venel should be kept Behind Bars forever let’s take a look at some of this morning’s front pages now the times reports on Michael Go’s insistence that the Tories can
Deliver 300,000 new properties a year NHS dentists on the brink slam the mail as a report warns of the worst crisis in 75 years and in the mirror happy to be home as missing British teen Alex batty breaks his silence after Vanishing in 2017 the writer Emma wolf and Times
Columnist Hugo riffkin are with us for Lu through this morning’s papers good morning pre Christmas gang how are we good good yes happy to be here so thrilled all that you’re so ready for Christmas I just can’t imagine this my sort of what is this W I know wrapped
Done baked three children all it’s because I got into panic mode that I had to get it done Yummy Mummy you astonishing woman see the state of the rest of my house everything’s WRA good tip get your tree early we normally get our tree quite late this year logistically we got
It really early and because it’s sitting there it’s a reminder of everything you haven’t done every single day are you have you done the shopping the the presents done I mean obviously I haven’t I’ve got a wife but uh but and me old boy sorry it’s been
Largely done um people like are you I no idea I need a wife well we can talk about that later I understand my people are handling this good yes we’ll talk about our people Emma let’s start with the front page of the Daily Mail Sarah talked about it earlier the NHS dentists
On the brink worst crisis in 75 years yeah uh this is just an appalling report it’s from the nuffield trust and it’s just basically saying you know patients are being forced to cue round the blocks overnight when NHS places become available um that tooth decay is now the
Most common reason for children aged 6 to 10 to be hospitalized wow and they should be getting free treatment obviously age 6 to 10 um there’s a desperate kind of need to lure dentists back from the private sector it’s much more lucrative for them they can charge around ÂŁ74 for a consultation whereas
Obviously in the NHS you get ÂŁ25 for a consultation um and really you know dentistry in this country is on the brink and there are parts of the country the Southwest for example where the problem is even more acute than for example in London where you might get access to an
NHS I mean look it’s it’s always been this this British cliche that we have terrible teeth in this country this is why I mean you know it’s it’s not some sort of habit is because we can’t sort out Dentistry well a lot of it is is to do
With our inability to sort out the NHS generally the Dentistry is kind of on the front line of the debate between should it be private should it be state funded no one can quite decide actually realistically effective dentistry in this country is now private but we
Pretend it isn’t which means a lot of people fall through the Gap I said something the other day and not a lot of people would agreed I’d be interested in in in your three’s opinion um we spend ÂŁ250,000 minimum training in NHS dentist do you not think they should sign a
Contract whereby they give something back and stay with the NHS I understand they get 75 for private and 25 for for public but why on Earth would we spend that money if they’re not giving back to the system pretty goling isn’t it when you train people up at that you ey
Watering costs and then they’re off to the private sector making huge amounts of money and even to restore universal access in this country which you would have thought is still a basic right universal access would cost billions of pounds so the whole sector in terms of
The NHS is really in a bad way there’s a fundamental problem with the contract contct isn’t there that uh dentists were given back in 2016 under a labor government because if you go in if I go in and I need one filling the dentist is
Paid the same amount as if I go in with rotten teeth and I have 10 fillings but it’s a salary is it is he not he or she not as that’s how much the government gives them to provide that service I I yeah I’d take the I’d be interested not
It’s not sustainable to run that hence the private access but patients being told I can’t see you on the NHS but if you pay me I’ve got an appointment they’re doing it at home now people are I mean their own people are so desperate they’re pulling their own during Co
There was a massive growth in DIY Dentistry with people sort fixing their own teeth with superglue and stuff I mean it’s embarrassing we’re a first world nation it shouldn’t be happening and I do think there’s a royal postcode Lottery because living in London I have
To say I can call out my dentist and get an appointment it won’t be the same dentist and it will be a couple of weeks wait but I can go to an NHS dentist obviously you pay for your treatment you pay for so it’s kind of not really NHS
But any I’m saying what is it it’s very odd and I’m really surprised that you would pay the same for 10 fillings as you would for one I I don’t understand I think that’s the fun what the government then gives them that’s how much well it’s very unclear and I know there are
Bands you know B one I think the point you make is about postco because the one thing I go on about the whole time about this show is it shouldn’t be London C the north and south of this country there’s a there’s a real discrepancy and and and you’re
Right sounds like an epidemic do you what’s your view on what I said about the training being paid you investing and then they and then they disappear off to the private sector you’d think it’d be pretty straightforward that if you wish to be sort of registered and licensed as a
Dentist in this country then you have to do a certain amount of work for the NHS not not that that would solve all the problems because you know as as you say they get paid differently for different kinds of work and the impetus will always be to nudge people onto private I
Think it’s it’s a bigger issue though it’s about sorting out our sort of an effective Health System overall and it exacerbates the wealth divide doesn’t it because you end up with wealthy people with good teeth and and the poor people with children in hospital with rotting teeth one of the solutions being
Proposed by labor though is that teachers do supervise toothbrushing for three to five year olds supervised teeth well I don’t think it’s I don’t think it’s a terrible idea what about parents of course they should but if they’re not do we want children with w and teeth so
We’ve got teachers who are going to work out whether your child’s going to go from being a man to a woman and now they’re going to brush their teeth no that’s a completely different thing the gender ideology has no place in schools and I would you know absolutely defend
That but I would absolutely oppose that but um I don’t think there’s anything wrong actually with nurseries and schools teaching basic skills like how to pull no they probably don’t some kid me this is true there are some kids sent to school aren’t even potty train what
We potty train exactly things like how to use potty how to use the labatory how to wash their hands how to brush their teeth I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that I think basically you should pass a test to other kids to see
He’s got the sixth one on the way uh we asked NHS dental services are at their most perilous Point ever in the last 75 years and grad well radical reform is needed Sarah before you see your dentist you’ve had some good response this morning yeah Damen says I was on the
Waiting list for over two years and just managed to get my appointment for January Paul says I need to save up for a year to afford a routine examination so the NHS isn’t free source is it and Mara says it’s impossible to see an NHS dentist these years these days I prefer
To suffer as I cannot afford to go private the problem is the longer you wait the wor and hug you make the point what does that say about us for God’s sake what does it say can we move on uh hug go to the telegraph front page pay at Petrol
Pumps after Red Sea attacks can you explain more sure this is a very sort of British Centric way of of of uh of uh reporting a quite major Global story basically this this is the this is the upshot of uh of what’s going on in in Gaza Israel and Gaza the houthi rebels
Who who now control a lot of Yemen uh further down the Red Sea have started attacking tankers going through the Red Sea the Red Sea of course being continuation of the sez Canal so an awful lot of global trade goes through there they’ve started attacking tankers cuz they were Iranian sponsored group
And it’s basically their way of joining in trying to draw America into a bigger conflict with drones um they’re doing the attacks and because of this uh BP has it now no longer wishes to P push tankers and ships through the Red Sea which means our petrol prices are going
To go up uh over Christmas because there’s less oil so if it’s not Ukraine uh now it’s the Red Sea uh the motorist continues to be battered in this country yeah well I hate to mention the word cycling but this is why you should yeah
No this is why makes much more sense I always feel a smug sense of Pride when you talk about prices at the one of the workplace XS we were describing you know people who talk about what is the hatred is it the people talk I’ll no you asked a question in
This morning 99% of people on the roads hate me for being a cyclist I mean I’m sorry to bring this back to World War II but your um your bike probably came through the seers canal as well doesn’t help yeah well I’ll tell you I’ll tell you about smug cyclist I’ll tell you
What it is I don’t are we have this all the time I don’t care that you cycle I care about the fact that whilst I’m sat waiting for a red light and ask out there my friend right you mount Pavements you go through red lights you
Don’t pay insurance you have ACC I don’t pay and you get away with it I’m not wre thead men shave their legs to ride bikes okay well I’m not a man that’s what it’s all about I’m not a man and I don’t go through red lights and I don’t Mount the
Pavements s quite ambitious but you use cycle loans what a waste of time they I can’t BL I blame sadique Khan for that I love you let’s move on if we can front page of the sun don’t like the fact that I’m saving the planet this is an extraordinary story this Alex Bassie
Isn’t it happy to be home only it only gets more extraordinary we now I mean it’s very unclear what’s really gone on apparently he left because his mom wanted to take him to Finland to go and see the Northern Lights there’s still this kind of mystery surrounding where
Is the mother inter’s been abandoned Camp been and the grandfather is nowhere to be seen he says Alex batty says the grandfather died 6 months ago a neighbor recently said he saw him the other day he was mowing the Lawns outside their Jeet um but they’re not clear whether he
Did actually die whether he has actually died or not how would the mother get to Finland without being picked up by the authorities took her they say she couldn’t have booked a flight because interpola on the case although do we have that much faith in the police and
Interpol given that they didn’t manage to track down a missing child six years ago it’s an extraordinary story says he’s delighted to be back for Christmas and he’s back in alen with his grandmother like you knew this story was going to be weird from the moment
Someone wanted to leave and did like in the life in the Pyrenees because they were so desperate to get to Olden I thought but nonetheless I find this story is this a remarkable story is this even an interesting story most I think it’s like a plot of a a Netflix fil I
Think it’ll be said this will be a Netflix show within it might be but look I mean most most childhood abductions are parents who don’t have custody who take them away that’s what’s happened here grandmother reappeared in this amazing way that’s what’s amazing about it it it wasn’t it wasn’t a major story
When he disappeared this is a sort of this is a a fairly unremarkable story of family breakdown but Hugo he walked out of the Pyrenees after six years and where the Father the father shut all up is there a father we don’t know about father so she had custody I was reading grandmother
Grand grand had cust she want so why didn’t the mother have custody there’s got to be something that something and she’s apparently want some alter and I’m going to throw it in there and I’ll get told off right try um I’m just going to throw there so the Grandmother Had
Custody and yet her husband ran off with the child with the daughter yes yes that’s exactly what happened the mother was into this alternative lifestyle she didn’t want to put him in Trad schooling main schooling I think but these sorts of stories must happen all the time but
They don’t reappear like this you this is the amazing bit that he’s reappeared and he seems quite 17 I mean I mean you know a lot of kids who get abducted by parents do reappear once they’ve grown up and the parents live wherever they’ve
Been hiding I mean it’s not I I I just don’t see why this is such a huge story I’ve never understood it shall we talk about um I love that yeah just shall we move on I think so no there’s a really important story on the front of the
Mirror today and this is Esther Ranson um who says that her stage four lung cancer if she’s told there’s no more treatment uh for it Hugo she may well uh take herself she said to dignitas and she wants to spare her family yeah a painful and an undignified death Esther
Ran something think a remarkable woman she is lucky enough to to meet a couple of times um she um uh she was she was diagnosed with with lung cancer fairly recently and yes as you say she’s talking about how uh if uh if it reaches that stage she’s uh she’s willing to
Travel to Switzerland to end her life it obviously raises the question why she should have to travel to Switzerland to end her life um and you know Sister dying is a hugely complicated area which has ramifications on how people live and how they live with illness if we were to
Allow it but again it’s always you know very Stark when you see somebody in this position who’s going why why should I suffer why should I force my family and also if if that a person is able to make that decision and I don’t understand why they can’t maybe make that decision and
Write that down legally before the onset if it’s something uh historical something they know it’s going to happen it and she’s said amazing wom you’re right cut no family can go because they’ll be implicated so you end up in a Swiss clinic on your own so I mean
That’s an ABS abute tragedy and who was the actress just last week who was talking who had made those fil it was it was Diana rig released um I think it was audio recordings wasn’t it of her talking about she was talking about the the loss of dignity the fact that you
Know she lost control of her bowels for example that she was living in terrible pain she was saying this shouldn’t be no no human being should have to go through you know that old phrase people we never people always say this and then they go
You know we put animals down they and we put them down peacefully and we hold them in the vet and they are peacefully put to sleep there’s a big complication here which is what we don’t want to do is create an expectation the people who are suffling with with with terminal
Illnesses to be ending their life that they ought to be doing ought to we ought to be able to say Sound Mind Body think about like I was thinking when I read this this morning about when I knew my father was getting ill and he he wanted to do that
What’s it called um the legal thing uh Power of Attorney power of attorney legally and healthwise that’s what he wanted 3 years before he died why can you not say maybe in my family there’s dementia there’s a disease that I know I’m going to get why can I not when I’m
Sound and mindly body sit in front of a legal representative and make that commitment to myself absolutely but the flip side of that is if you have somebody who’s living for a long time with terminal illness you want to be wary of creating a situation where every
Day they’re choosing not to die and they and they feel they and therefore they ought to make Choice precisely it’s dangerous well it’s very interesting so in the next hour before you come out you’re going off for a ride on your bike are you I’ve just just cycled in yeah
Good I’ve I’ve emptied the air from your tires thanks em Hugo you know they’ll send you a car yeah I love Hugo he’s like me have you done the Christmas presence I have a wife what do you mean you’re psyched got a car thank you to
Then they’ll be back uh with us for more papers in just under an hour now though it is time for a quick news update with Emily good morning at least 118 people have been killed and more than 250 injured in a huge earthquake in the northwest of China Rescuers are
Currently looking for more survivors in freezing temperatures of Min -3° after the 6.2 magnitude Quake during the early hours of this morning in Iceland now 4,000 people have been evacuated from their homes after a volcano close to the Blue Lagoon erupted after intense activity was first detected in late October overnight lava
Started flowing from a crack which is about 2 miles long these locals have been moved to safety you see the big cracks everywhere and and all the houses are ruined it’s it’s very sad We Gather people here in groups and then once we get the goahead we let them go we try to
Keep calm so that the residents don’t start panicking and schools could soon be able to overall parents who want their children to change their gender identity if they feel it goes too far long awaited transgender guidance for schools in England is expected to be published by the government today the time is
Reporting that schools will also be told they’re under no general duty to allow children to socially transition you’re up to date I’ll have more headlines at 7 o’ thank you and yeah we’ll be talking about that after 9:00 this morning with a teacher and somebody who’s worked in
The school industry for a long long time they disagree we’d love your thoughts in fact we asked earlier with the government expected to announce that new guidance for schools on how they deal with trans pupils should teachers tell parents if their children are showing signs of transitioning whilst at school
Yeah Liam has has said teachers should not inform parents if students confy that they’re struggling with how they feel about their gender they suffer significant emotional distress and not everyone is supportive Graham says teachers shouldn’t have the responsibility of dealing with this crucial matter involving a child’s life
We know our kids more than their teachers Justin I don’t understand the government’s urgency to interfere in our children’s lives although I think that teachers and schools have been calling for this guidance so that they know what they should and shouldn’t we’ll talk about it later it also
Involves pronouns I mean you can be sacked for for using the wrong pronoun the government is saying we’re getting rid of that people make mistakes or whatever it’s difficult Barbara teachers have no right to discuss s sexual orientation with any child they hold a powerful role in students lives and this
Will magnify the chances of abuse and exploitation please keep those comments coming it’s a really it’s a really difficult one isn’t it teachers might well be the first Port of Call for many families who doesn’t we can sit here as parents who love our kids and we’re
Lucky enough to to have a roof overhead there’s some people who aren’t particularly good parents and kids who really suffer and the teacher is is their first point of call talk today at talk. TV text 287 treble 2 please do start your message with the word talk in
The meantime Nas is here with all the weather morning T Nas good morning it’s looking quite a mild one for It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas not if it’s mild but we want it to be cold you like it like me cold and frosty
No chance of snow then and there’s a small teeny tiny chance that some places in Scotland over the High Ground might see some snow right let’s head North times radio sponsors talk TV weather good morning so for the run up to Christmas generally speaking it’s looking wet it’s looking windy as well especially from Wednesday into Thursday and Friday very strong winds WI widespread across the UK are expected it’s courtesy of this area of low
Pressure just to the west of Iceland at the moment it’s not going to directly impact us but it is going to bring those very strong Gusty winds as well as spells of rain at times as well and there may be hints of a bit of cold air
Settling in across the far north of the UK towards Christmas Eve may bring some wintry showers on Christmas day over The High Ground otherwise it’s a wet start across England and Wales this morning that band of rain will be quickly moving its way southwards allowing for sunnier Skies to develop but also cooler
Temperatures across parts of the South where it’s very mild this morning in the Southeast over Scotland the mid-afternoon picture lots of sunshine showers though across the north and west and over some Central areas there may be some wintry over the highlands and across Northern Island sunshine and
Showers too England and Wales on the other hand generally fine and dry for this afternoon lots of sunshine to enjoy but the odd shower to possible across the northwest of England and Wales temperatures as I said will be very mild across the South but they will fall away
As that band of rain clears the Southeast later and then into tonight we continue with the Russia showers spreading further southwards across parts of Scotland Northern Island the Republic and parts of the north and west of England and Wales again some of the winry Over The High Ground brisk winds
Starting to develop from the north as well the far south and South E so staying mostly dry and Clear times radio sponsors talk TV weather thanks a lot now still to come Shi here with you sport good morning thank you very much it’s England goalkeeper Mary hers overwhelming favorite to succeed her teammate Beth me as the bbbc oh bbbc BBC sports Personality of the year that’s coming up
Tonight and one little girl has me worried for my job that’s why I’m a stuttering mess today you can find out why next this is talk today good morning to you we’re here thanks for joining us you’re with talk TV on TV on radio online onun your smart speaker as well
Criminals to using XL Bully dogs as weapons to threat others no matter how well trained most dog owners will tell you a dog can turn do you know what I love about talk today we do it all sunak sella scon I rather like David Cameron I don’t
Sort of bear him any ill will because he delivered the referendum that he said he would deliver the tor’s love a scrap you can almost see this coming around the tracks with sella bravman she’s heading up one side and richy soon at the other the police are pro Palestine that is
Just not right you swearing off in the police to act without fear or favor the co inquiry seems to have turned into a sort of pantomim there’s not really any substance to it it’s hard to know whether it’s a fce or a tragedy the amount of time it’s taken
The number of illegal migrants currently sent by us to Rwanda zil the amount of money it’s cost we’re saying what are we saying it’s cost about 140 million 140 million P so far so40 million so far result nil absolutely nil are we only going to be trusting sources like meta
And Google where is our unbiased news going to come from Kell in winter is cold that is from the Jeremy Corbin po Kevin O Sullivan is the worst presenter on talk TV sitting on his fat ass talking if you’re walking towards me and you’re a vegan should have a great big
Orange sticker over here saying watch out vegan’s about the weirdest plank that we’ve had in three years hundreds and hundreds of mice in a box which he walks into a branch of McDonald MC mous man MC mous man M mous he should be easy enough to
Catch this guy shouldn’t he I mean he’s got a house full of mice this is a major Summit President Biden decided this was important after watching a Tom Cruz film sunak and the current conservative government are not conservative why don’t you leave that party and come to one that actually shares your ideology
Been a political broadcast on beh of the reform UK party kids think all they have to do is take pictures of everything just shut down Tik Tok problem solve this is really unfair what what what’s unfair if it’s on camera we’re not doing interviews yes I’m going to do you’re
Going to resign yes cuz I cannot continue my work when I say I am God I’m not joking did you feel Elvis was controlling I’ve been answering your question you answer mine it’s actually not my job to answer your question are you prepared to call h a terror
Group is it possible to have a rational I’ve asked you two questions should Hass stay in power and are there terror group you’re refusing to answer either of them that is very telling talk TV is the only place where you get the truth you’ve done a book on poetry poetry and music
For the many I love poetry we can agree on that welome back you would talk today what is it almost 10 to 7 Tuesday Morning across the UK now doe data from the fa has found the number of serious allegations against match officials in Grassroots football has increased compared to last
Season over 1,400 allegations were made in the 2022 23 season with 72 allegations of or attempted assault for goodness sakes crazy the fa has now extended a trial using body cameras in the Grassroots to help improve conviction rates this is a really depressing story about Grassroots football yeah it’s the the place for
Everyone to be welcome to be involved to have that outlet for sport for friends family to go along yet the the abuse is still there and it’s up based on its figures last year slightly up by 1% there were a total of 1,451 allegations last year to 1,430 offenses an actual
Assault because we were here last last week I don’t know if you saw this I mean had appalling footage from Turkey where the president rang on and smacked the the the referee with and then kicked him in the head he’s he’s he’s going to jail but doesn’t exactly there it is you can
See it on the screen doesn’t exactly Set uh any any great standard at all and it’s something we’re hearing so much now you know from the pundits that we work with from the former players who say you know they even go to Grassroots games and the the the parents are are offering
Out a hell of a lot of abuse I toward RI an under sevens match there were two Ms on the side of the pitch at my son’s Club having a fullon hair pulling full on on the floor fighting under sevens I got sent off ridiculous I got sent off
Once from a cricket match well I was behind the arm of the the the bowler and blatantly the referee the Umpire from the other school I mean honest was a foot out compl and I shouted sheat so I got us to leave so no but absolutely
When you look at it when you look at it when you look and see stuff like turkey not a great and you have to it all starts at Grassroots that’s where they’re learning so if they’re not getting to write at Grassroots what’s the future holding when we know it’s at
An alltime low you know now in the Premier League the allegations of abuse what we’re seeing the the the crowding around the referees you know Manchester City have been given a hefty F today from crowd and the referee um last week so you know is something we’re seeing
More and more often I like the body cam footage idea um because it is starting to it’s kind of like we see with police isn’t it wearing body cam footage so that they’ve then got a full record of and the idea of that camera then being
Pointed at your face would you tone it down even though when you’re watching Prem games and championship games there’s cameras everywhere I was going to say it can’t make any difference Champions lead draw here’s a question for you completely off the cuff done by
John Terry why can’t he get a job as a manager should we just part that one um Champions League draw I’ll tell you later uh not a bad draw for Man City and for Arsenal because man united aren’t in the oh no that’s right thanks very much
For that reminder come talk to me about West Ham and their Champions League Ambitions European Champions time yeah of the conference leag Europe Europe European Champions come on you can’t walk down the streets of man united fan I say you won a European West Ham European Champions
Deal with it for I’m good for I’m well done you won a trophy but Europe one what football team do you support sir yeah I don’t kids kids Nottingham Forest Chelsea Chelsea you done for it tonight because you’ve got Chelsea against Newcastle in the cup but I actually
Think Chelsea will be looking maybe for B both my son Henry’s going to that match I think Chelsea will beat Newcastle you talk about you talk about injuries Newcastle they’ve got 17 first team players out anyway sorry the draw back to the Champions League round 16 a
Fairly kind draw what we will see for the clubs coming from England Porto against Arsenal and Manchester City uh have been drawn against FC Copenhagen totally left my mind there for a minute which seems like a kind enough draw a lot people saying online yesterday this is maybe the most boring Champions
League draw and it’s losing its spark this competition I completely doubt that it looks like we’re going to see more of them these teams in the quarterfinals you can never rule out the likes of um Bayern Munich who have done so well in this competition H and also Napoli
Barcelona that should be a good game also but we wanted to see like PSG Jo Arsenal or something but that’s not quite happening T is taking place February and March yeah taking place February March which should be a good interesting time and that’s when the calendar gets even more congested for
These players talking about Manchester City being in this competition they’re playing in the club World Cup tonight then again on Friday then they’ve got about a day off maybe an evening off at Christmas then back into the Premier League fish just Newcastle have it extreme lost Joe Linton and and Isaac on
Saturday 17 first team players out so carabo cup three of them tonight quarterfinals League Cup because what does Carib sounds like a bag of sweets Everton Fulham Everton on a great great run dce is doing a great job do you know if Everton hadn’t been deducted 10
Points they’d be seventh or eighth in the Premier League that is unbelievable that’s something we’ve not seen from Everton in some look like a team I mean they’d be up to something like 26 points which is just excellent but that 10o deduction is just absolutely done them
Over okay they broke the rule but I think they’re on some sort of mad form four wins in a row which is quite incredible but also you watch their style they know what they’re doing there only be one point behind the European Champions and highflying West Ham who
Are currently one today P Bale middlesburo that’s that’s a great game tonight could it be middles BR could they go all the way to the final from the first time since 2004 something crazy like that that’s the teams we want to see shine in the I fancy Port Vale
Fcy mles BR I fancy mles BR yeah it should be a good one tonight but the game and my son’s at Chelsea Newcastle your son will be avidly watching he’s going Henry tonight Chelsea Newcastle what do we reckon Chelsea honest to God man I can’t have it there’s just no
There’s no consistency there is there there’s absolutely no consistency I know and you’re coming into at this time of year where Merit portino has to be under pressure and if he can stay in a cup competition it eases that pressure slightly and then in comes that conversation would you rather win some
Some silver wear would you rather finish top four we know that Chelsea should be finishing top four top six regardless but they are trickling down that table again they have their injury crisis but as as every team has for now H going into January they need to be able to
Turn things around staying in this competition is good but I think Newcastle are going to go one better I think that inspired to stay in Cup competitions being notamp very quickly Shan if you’re not watching uh Chelsea Newcastle tonight sports Personality off the Year Mar Up’s the favorite she’s the
Favorite I can’t believe we could have two lionesses winning in a row it just shows how things are changing but M hers is the type of character who who shows her character in football on and off the pitch you know she’s been an absolute World beater even though going back to
The weekend they were beaten by Liverpool uh but she’s just doing the right thing for sports isn’t she could it be two lionesses in a row you think it might be a bit nothing against it fantastic I just wonder whether one of the retired people broad or detor I have
No idea but watch it or don’t watch it it’s on the BBC not much not much personal that is all we’ve got time for Shan thank you I’m sorry we haven’t had time to bring you the video of the three-year-old child prodigy later on we’ll do it Shan thank you very much
Lots more still to come here on talk today we’ll be speaking to Shadow Chief secretary to the treasury Darren Jones about Labor’s new plan to rescue NHS Dentistry if they get into Power keep your thoughts and your opinions coming you are with talk today it’s almost 7:00
We’re live across the UK we’re coming back in three do not go Anywhere we’re here thanks for joining us you’re with talk TV on TV on radio online on your smart speaker as well criminals using XL Bully dogs as weapons to threaten others no matter how well trained most dog owners will tell you a dog can turn do you know what I love
About talk today we do it all sunak sella scon I rather like David Cameron I don’t sort of bear him any ill will because he delivered the referendum that he said he would deliver the tor’s love a scrap you can almost see the is coming round the tracks with sella bravman she’s heading

Whether it’s a fce or a tragedy the amount of time it’s taken the number of illegal migrants currently sent by us to Rwanda zil the amount of money it’s cost we’re saying what are we saying it’s cost about 140 million so far so40 million so far result nil absolutely nil are we only

TV it’s the only place where you get the truth you’ve done a book on poetry poetry and music for the many I love poetry we can agree on that on TV on Radio and on your smartphone this is talk TV this is talk today with Jeremy Kyle and Sarah H good morning it is 7 o’ on Tuesday the 19th of December you would talk today my friends were on TV on radio online and of course on your smart speaker and these are your top stories for Tuesday morning the Rwanda deal
Faces another hurdle today as the Home Secretary James clly appears at the Lord’s committee after John venal was denied Parole in a talk TV exclusive will be joined by his victim’s dad Ralph belger after 8:00 this morning the government will set out its guidance for schools over trans pupils today will it
Be decisive or will they just pass the buck to the teachers we’ll be speaking to one and hearing his thoughts and Rain clearing the South this morning allowing for lots of sunshine across the UK this afternoon but for Su there will be blustery showers becoming windy this
Week as well I have all the details very soon thank you NZ welcome to Tuesday uh here with the wonderful Sarah Houston and and she’s back from honeymoon Emily Rose Adams and all you’re talking about during the break you3 is what you’re going to get for your husband and I
Noticed by the way the Christmas thing it’s all about socks and pants and rubbish I know it’s boring isn’t it it is boring for a man to go what would you like for Christmas have you have you done your Christmas list I don’t I don’t I don’t know because um well you see
That’s no help is it well no but I’ve got a baby coming for Christmas so you’s got plenty on uh her mind I I get her to buy her own presents and wrap them for you don’t like that at all she bu I think that’s absolutely tragic do you I
Think you need to just do it yourself I have actually bought her some presents I’m actually actually quite romantic but but she’s if I’m being completely serious I don’t want any clothes it or anything I’m pregnant I just want to have the baby and then I can crack on so
You know yeah she says that she doesn’t mean it she needs spoiling what size are you supposed to buy like if you were buying nice silk what well it’s going to have to be bigger cuz everything’s swollen it’s difficult for after the baby right buy it for after the baby
Right listen uh please do by the way keep your thoughts and opinions coming on the show today we’ve thrown a few things out there for you uh some guidance from the government on how schools should deal with trans pup later NHS dental services at their lowest and
Worst for 75 years uh that on the front of the mail whatever you want to talk about getting contact with us as ever in the normal ways which she’s much better at doing than me H yes so lots of you have been getting in touch about Dentistry John said there’s not a single
NHS dentist in Northfolk it’s all private here my daughter paid ÂŁ1,100 for a dental crown it is shocking you can see why people are resorting to DIY Dentistry can’t you uh lots more do keep those uh coming in you’re also getting in touch about your workplace I
The things that annoy you most about your colleagues good uh talk today at to.tv text to 87 tre2 it’s a couple of minutes past 7 and Emily Rose Adams how’s your news headlines good morning at least 118 people have been killed and more than 250 injured in a huge earthquake in the
Northwest of China Rescuers are currently looking for more survivors in freezing temperatures of minus33 DE after the magnitude of 6.2 Quake during the early hours of this morning meanwhile 4,000 people have been evacuated from their homes in Iceland after a volcano close to the Blue Lagoon erupted after intense activity was first
Detected in late October overnight lava started flowing from a crack which is about 2 miles long next the Home Secretary James cleverly will be facing questions about the Rwanda deal at the Lord’s committee later last week the bill passed its second vote in the House of Commons despite threats of a
Rebellion from some conservative of MPS our former home office adviser CLA piels Todd talk today the home office needs more immigration casew workers none of this is rocket science it is very simple you have a large backlog you have cases you need case workers so I don’t
Understand why we are spending so much money on something which sols maybe 200 people if it ever gets off the ground the UK has joined a new international Naval task force to combat attacks on ships in the Red Sea from fighters who support her M companies including BP
Have started avoiding the area because houthi rebels in Yemen have been targeting vessels they think abound for Israel and schools could soon be able to overrall parents who want their children to change their gender identity if they feel it goes too far long awaited transgender guidance for schools in
England is expected to be published by the government today and the times is reporting that schools will also be told they’re under no general duty to allow children to socially transition those the headlines I’ll have another update in half an hour that is one massive topic Emily thank you and after 9:00
This morning we’ve got somebody from Schools administration and a teacher this is all about the government’s expected announcement of guidance later on about how trans pupils should be dealt with and let’s be honest right sir this is such a contentious subject you can’t say anything without upsetting
Somebody I can sit here as a parent and go I think I would know I absolutely understand that there are there are some kids from environment with the parents aren’t very good good and their teacher is their sounding board but it to me is horrifying to think that anything like
That can happen and a parent wouldn’t know or be involved in the process and I also have to say won’t be popular I’m sorry I think there’s a sheeplike quality to to many of the younger generation that’s not disrespecting those who want to do it but it worries me under these guidelines teachers
Wouldn’t be punished for using the wrong pronoun to identify a particular child there would be single sex toilets and changing rooms maintained uh in schools and Common Sense right parents should be told if their child wants to change what do you make what is your opinion is it common sense is the
Government finally doing what most people think or is it not is it wrong Julian says the younger generation is way more advanced now I don’t think they need our help and guidelines to deal with this I think the guidelines are there to help the schools put in place
Their own policies but I say this is utter Madness the only place for the moral education of a child is the home how are we supposed to trust any institution with questionable moral standings please keep those opinions coming really really interesting to hear the diversity of different conversations
This morning yeah email us talk to.tv you can tweet us at talktv or you can text us text the word talk plus your message to 87 treble 2 but now it is time for the weather with the lovely Nas is here with us Nas morning to you how
Is it looking it’s looking um not too bad for today actually lots of sunshine but generally this week we are going to see uh rain at times and it’s going to turn very Windy times radio sponsors talk TV weather good morning this week generally speaking it’s going to be rather wet at times and it’s going to turn very windy as well courtesy of an area of low pressure that’s currently to the west of Iceland and although won’t directly impact us it is going to bring
Widespread strong winds across the UK from Wednesday to Thursday and especially so on Friday the Met Office already have warnings in force for Thursday for anywhere north of the north of England and Wales and at times there will be spells of rain as well in fact this morning there are outbreaks of rain
Across much of England and Wales a dull start to the day there mild though especially so in the Southeast whereas further north it’s colder but brighter and drier although there are some showers across parts of the Northwest now going to this afternoon as you can see that rain clears away from the
Southeast very quickly so revealing Sunshine for England and Wales sunny skies continue this afternoon for Scotland but there will be showers over the north and west in particular some of them winry over The High Ground Sunshine showers from northern Island too and England and Wales generally looking fine
And dry but there will be the odd shower or two possible across the northwest of England and Wales temperatures will be high this morning across the South but once that rain clears they will lower so generally speaking temperatures up into to the high single figures for much of
The UK so feeling quite cool overnight and showers will continue across Scotland pushing further southwards across parts of the north of England and Wales islands and Northern Island some of them turning winry over The High Ground and the frosty conditions developing in some rural spots it will
Be a cold night across parts of the North in particular temperatures down to around 3 or 4 degrees Celsius in towns and cities then tomorrow we will see the wind start to strengthen and Rain also push its way southwards across many northern and western part of the UK but
I think for Central Southern and Eastern areas although cloudy will be mainly dry so the mid afternoon pitch across Scotland rain mostly across central western and Northern areas there will also be swells of rain for the north and west of England and Welles Island and Northern Island whereas across much of
The Midlands Central Southern Eastern England although quite cloudy it will be mainly Dry times radio sponsors talk TV weather thank you nas this morning the labor party is announcing a rescue plan for Dentistry to get everyone in England access to NHS treatment if they get into power now NHS data shows that 82% of dentists aren’t accepting new adult patients putting SES of the population
To so-called Dental deserts uh joining us now is live from Westminster Shadow Chief secret to the treasury Daren Jones welcome to talk today got your umbrella good man how we doing I’m very good good morning um Darren one of the things that I try and and and do for people listening and
Watching is is get politicians to put uh in lman terms what they’re planning front of the mail today 75 years we’ve never had a worst uh NHS Dentistry uh labor talks about its plan what is your plan in Lay person speak Darren please well in the simplest terms our
Plan is to make an NHS dentist appointment available to people watching your show at home uh millions of people across the country know that if they call their local dentist they aren’t accepting NHS patients and you can’t get an NHS appointment but you can get a private appointment if you’re willing to
Pay premium rates for it now that’s not because the dentist to being greedy it’s because the contract that the government has signed with dentists says that they can only provide a certain amount of NHS appointments over the course of a year and that means they can only do so much
Of that work week in week out and as soon as those NHS appointments are booked that dentist isn’t allowed to provide any more NHS Dentistry but they can provide you with private sector dentistry in the spare time that they have so we’ve said that we will create 700,000 uh NHS dentist appointments
Across the country um by giving over 100 million pounds to dentists and paying them to do that work which you know people across the country need doing am I right in thinking though uh Darren that the current uh contract was uh one devised by labor government in
2006 yes that’s right and we’ve been saying for a long time that it needs to be uh reformed so when that was drafted under the last Labor government it was trying to get a grip of a budget that was kind of getting out of control at
The time um but over the last 13 years even though dentists and politicians of all parties quite frankly and others have been saying that the government needs to review it the government has failed uh to do so and that’s why we’re in this position now where denry is essentially privatized across the
Country because most people only see a dentist if they are a private paying patient but Labour’s been in charge of the NHS in Wales for a long time now and if you look at the situation there it’s far from Rosie there are warnings too in Wales of complete collapse of NHS
Dentistry last year in Cardiff for example uh an NHS patient could be waiting 26 months for their first appointment you haven’t managed to sort it there so what is to say that you’re going to be able to sort it in England well that’s the difference about being
Here in Westminster in that we can make decisions here one about how services are designed in England but two how we then support devolved administrations to deliver improvements to their local Services too so in Wales they’ll be able to think about how they want to design
The service locally uh to work in the interest of local people in uh Wales but they do need appropriate support from the the national government here in Westminster to be able to do that and that’s why we’ve committed if we are to win the next election to review this
Contract and the way it’s designed as well as putting in these immediate measures the 700,000 emergency NHS appointments making sure that we can recruit NHS dentists in parts of the country where none exists today and supporting children in schools to have good oral hygiene skills as a
Preventative measure uh so that we can have some short-term medium-term and long-term priorities for reforming NHS Dentistry D really appreciate your honesty but but sort of a couple of things from me the first is you talk about 700,000 new appointments this is yet another policy which Labour says it
Will pay for by abolishing the non-dom tax status I mean that’s been rolled out quite a lot how much are you going to make by abolishing the non-dom tax status because it seems to be with respect sir paying for almost everything well the key thing is that we
Had announced originally that we would use the money that labor would raise by abolishing the non-dom tax status that’s for people that live here and work here but don’t pay their taxes here because they’re from overseas uh we were going to put that into an NHS Workforce plan
To help with backlog in the NHS the conservatives and government liked our NHS Workforce plan so much that they decided to do it themselves that was great but that means they funded it with their existing budget they have not closed the loophole on non-doms a labor government would do that which means
That that money is available to spend on other things because the government have taken one of our policies and that’s why we’ve reallocated it uh to NHS denry but also to further measures to help deal with the backlog uh in Hospital appointment waiting times um Darren one
Other thing Shadow Chief section to the treasury the the labor party um doing very well in the polls and much expectation I’ve said almost every week uh starma rolls you out you’re all very polished and on message can I put something to you that I said earlier I’d
Love your take um it strikes me that if we are in a situation where our Dentistry services are at their worst in 75 years that one of the problems which isn’t particularly popular to say is that we spend upwards of a quarter of a million pounds training an NHS dentist
And whilst I understand about contracts and hours and all that they then dis appear off to get far more money three times on the private going back to contracts would labor insist in return for the training that they stayed and did more NHS work in the ensuing years
After they’ve qualified that would be my question there’s a legitimate point to raise I trained as a solicitor for example and the law firm that paid for me to do that as a postgraduate said I had to work for them for a number of years to pay back the money and if I
Left in that time I would need to hand over the cash CU they paid for my training so it’s quite normal uh to make that type of request and we’ve said for example where we will incentivize NHS dentists to set up in parts of the country where there are no NHS dentists
That incentive incentive payment will be conditional on them committing to uh working in that area for a number of years specifically doing NHS work we think that’s the right approach yes Darr I just want to ask you about the situation in the Middle East uh the foreign secretary and now the Prime
Minister have started to call for a sustainable uh C far as sist Arma has now joined them wh why now having not listened to those within his party not listened to the calls uh for him to stand up and call for a ceasefire why now does this is this just all about
Election Heering for secur starma no no far from it this is kir starma acting as he would if he were to be prime minister which is working with our allies on the stepbystep approach that diplomacy requires you know we called for a long humanitarian pause um
A couple of months ago because we had understood from our allies and from Partners in the United States in Europe and elsewhere in the region that that was the uh most likely outcome at that point in time and that happened and that was good but now we need to go further
And so as time allows and as the situation develops our position changes and that’s perfectly normal and proper uh but of course as we’ve always said we want sustainable long-lasting peace in the Middle East of two states solution where Palestinians and Israelis people can live next to each other peacefully
And the quicker we get back to that political dialogue and try to secure that solution the better don’t want any cough then Darren thank you very much indeed I’ll leave it to Sarah thank you for your time thank you Darren we’re joined by talk TV’s political correspondent Alysia Fitzgerald and
Former home office Minister Norman Baker both in the studio with us Alysia what did you make of that labor announcing this big plan which I think they’d already announced before the oer October anyway but this big plan to save dentistry in England by canceling non-dom tax dates apparently well
Dentistry is one of the areas of the NHS that have really really struggled and that is for a number of reasons one is Workforce shortages and two is as you mentioned JY lots of the dentists who are training are going to seek better salaries elsewhere and obviously that is
The same in general and medical profession in general lots of doctors are doing the same things there’s been a massive drought of dentists and so many people unable to access free dentistry and move moving over to the private sector if they can afford it that has
Left a massive black hole for those who cannot and poor dental hygiene is a massive cause of lots of other health issues so it really is quite serious um Norman I saw you tting a little bit there um I mean this was a Sarah quite ear said announced in October it strikes
Me that every single day I sat here we’re just getting people trying to polish what they’ve already said because they know there’s an election next year my friend they’re not very keen polish did you like what I did there with the i that yes they’re not very keen to spend
Money they’re not very keen to themselves up to attack so they’re being very very careful labor as to what they actually say they’re trying to present themselves as being radical without committing any particular new funds but that’s because the big argument when I was growing up I don’t I don’t know
Whether you’d agree with this was always and I’ve said it before you know labor would Tores were about secure money and fiscal responsibility and low taxation secure borders and the labor party we were told and when we were kids they print money they’ll give everybody everything it’s been a very very very
Massive change for starm everyone I speak to says we’re not throwing good money after bad we’re not promising tax cuts we’re not going to cure everything it’s a different approach Norman B it’s almost a reverse approach because what we’re seeing from the conservatives is financial incompetence and money being
Wasted on PE equipment it doesn’t work and and generally being being spent you know 40 million pound for a helicopter deal for the Prime Minister when Ben bull had canceled out it’s been reinstated so R can use helicopters I mean they’re just wasting public money day after day Alysa that’s Labor’s plan
If they win the election let’s talk about today because it’s a very busy uh day in terms of politics wrapping everything up before the recess we’ve got James cleverly up before the House of Lords committee on the Rwanda agreement we’ve got the prime minister in front of the liaison committee we’ve
Got the foreign secretary off to France let’s start with uh James cleverly in front of the Lords uh committee what can he expect well he can expect to answer all the questions that I’m sure lots of the public have and I’m sure lots of the questions that both of you have been
Asking guests on this show today is it worth the money is it going to work do people have faith in it and what what what is the point of this scheme is this the best way I’m not sure cleverly believes it himself of I’m absolutely honest sorry well the other thing is is
He is obviously a really new Home Secretary he was the foreign secretary until very recently when when Suella braan stepped down was fired whatever you want to call it from her role so he has had to adopt a whole new portfolio uh in a time where migration is a
Massive massive issue so he’s got a very big task on his hands and he’s going to have to try and convince the Lords today that the Rwanda scheme is is a successful policy and how does he do that Norman well he doesn’t do it because the Lords will be very critical
Of the around the scheme uh they’ll spot the holes in it there are many holes more holes than a cander uh they’ll be aware of the supreme court judgment and uh he’s he’s inherited a dad he’s inherited a policy doesn’t work then get rid of it I keep hearing he’s inherited
It from pry Patel and Boris Johnson have a courage 12 months ago to say when he stood on St steps of Dy I’m going to change thing I’m going to be this and then he employed Gavin Williamson stand up and say it doesn’t work and change it
Be honest with the British public yes I totally agree with that but he won’t do so and what the prime miners doing is digging further into the Hall which he’s created he’s elevated this policy on small boats in Rwanda way above his actual importance in the in the scheme
Of things if he’s worried about migration legal migration is a far bigger issue in terms of numbers but this Rwanda thing which actually is relatively small numbers numerical terms has been elevated to something enormous and it’s political incompetence to make a big issue something you can’t solve
Can I bring something up before we move on to to Cameron um this is in the sun today page eight uh an exclusive from Nick Parker we heard the booby Stockholm last week the man that took his own life and somebody said you know it’s appalling that um a story that two
Migrants living on the booby Stockholm have been arrested on suspicion of a sex attack in a bar the pair aged 24 and 27 were held after an alleged assault we had somebody a couple of weeks ago who said and I quote I I spent my life
Working in London I saved my money I retired to Portland dors want 350 men walking around the town late at night doing this there is that argument and that needs to be said as well when we sit here and we go all these poor migrants and these poor conditions there
Are people in this country who are very much concerned about that happening and I’m delighted the sun wrote that story because I think it’s relevant yes I mean whenever you have a concentration of people suddenly imposed on the community which you’ve got there that is a challenge to that local community and
We’ve seen we’ve seen towns before where in the EU days if you like where the Polish Community for example would concentrate and local people have been there for some time felt alienated so there’s an issue about communities growing organically in terms of these two who’ve been arrested of course we
Can’t extrapolate to say that’s going to be the case with all migrants I mean no no but we have to point out that it happened there’s a there’s a there there’s an opinion somewhere that that people say we can’t live these poor but the fact is if you if you live down
There and and and that is happening you’d have a right to be angry about of course you got a right to be angry and of course you got a right to be concerned about how how the place has been policed but you could eily find saying kering two people who committed a
Horrible crime it doesn’t mean any more people in Catching no no but I worry about the local lady who spoke to the sun who said I I I wanted to say something but but I’ll be accused of being racist well I mean that’s not that shouldn’t happen absolutely and and the
Police should deal with matters without fear or favor Absolut according to whether the law has been broken no more no less I think that’s all we’ve got time for I was going to ask you about richy sunak very quickly richy sunak before the liaison committee today what is the
Liaison committee I’ll try and make this as brief as possible and it probably should should be quite brief it’s pretty straightforward uh so three times a year the Prime Minister gets a chance to sit in front of the chair of each select committee that is a representative from each governmental Department home office
Foreign office Health Department all of those uh the big players in government and they get a chance to ask the Prime Minister about his work and about his policies in each area obviously that will include lots of questions about migration about the health department about the NHS isra is Gaza Ukraine all
Of these massive issues did become a chair chairman of a a select committee it’s 15 grand a year extra nor my it was 15 grand a year extra no I was either an opposition spokesperson or then a minister so I think you become that’s a different route in terms of politic we
Love we love having you on Norman Baker and you’re you’re array of jackets are always a pleasure Alysia thank you very much indeed as well still to come and talk today uh more delay for British passport holders of course is fingerprint and facial scans come into
Force if they work and ready Sarah the big Christmas turkey debate apparently we’ve been cooking it wrong the whole time how are you supposed to cook a Christmas turkey well I don’t know I’m hoping I’m going to find out the true way wait and see for our paper review

Whether it’s a fce or a tragedy the amount of time it’s taken the number of illegal migrants currently sent by us to Rwanda zil the amount of money it’s cost we’re saying what are we saying it’s cost about 140 million 140 million so far so40 million so far
Result nil Absol absolutely nil are we only going to be trusting sources like meta and Google where is our unbiased news going to come from K in winter is cold that is from the Jeremy Corbin book Kevin O Sullivan is the worst presenter on talk TV sitting on his fat ass

Promise guidance for teachers on how to handle gender identity in schools let’s take another quick look at some of this morning’s front pages the times reporting on Michael Go’s insistence that the Tories can deliver 300,000 new properties in a year front of the mail as we’ve been talking about NHS dentists
On the brink uh the mail slamming and talking about a report of the worst crisis in 75 years and the front page the sun and the mirror happy to be home as missing British teen Alex batty breaks his silence after Vanishing in 2017 an extraordinary story we’ll be
Talking more about this morning on the show at the writer Emma wolf and times col Miss Hugo rkin are back with us for another look through this morning’s papers hello to both of you Hugo we’re going to start with uh the ey and this is about more misery for UK Travelers
Heading into Europe uh fingerprint checks that will lead to delays this is this is another lucky lucky brexit dividend lucky us uh basically what’s happening is from next year when we cross the border into Europe which means going into France generally uh we will be fingerprinted a
Bit like when you go to the United States for the first time and uh yeah and so it will slow slow down it’s already really slow when you yeah it’ll be fingerprinted fingerprinted yes but what about when we come back do we get fingerprinted that’s up to us probably
Do we fingerprint illegal and legal migrants uh I have no idea I chances are we probably do but this isn’t just about us you know this is a this is this is what the EU is doing with all external countries like America does with all external countries when they started
Planning this uh we were in the EU so so we would be doing it so we would be doing it and then we left the EU and so now we’re treated like a country that isn’t in the EU and that’s our Lookout say that’s why brexit was a terrible are
You going to tell me we shouldn’t have we shouldn’t have brexit because of fingerprinting man no not at all no I I think there’s a thousand better reasons why we should have done say you reap what you sow this is what you this is what it’s it’s not it’s not a terrible
Thing if you go into one of the largest group of countries on the planet and you’re not part of it I think it’s not that weird why why should they fingerprint us well the same reason they fingerprint everybody why shouldn’t they fingerprint us we we we were can I can I
Ask question like I’d like to give myself no credit for because Dave’s just said it in my ear surely when you do it the first time they’ve then logged your fingerprints which quickens the system up the second time yeah unless the computer breaks down why can’t we register our fingerprints at the same
Time as we get a passport you don’t need to argue with me argue with I’m happy to go along and fing would that would be our policy this is the eu’s policy why they why are they beating us why are they still Bea us they’re not beating us we’re beating
Ourselves we chose to leave if we wanted to be part of the don’t get fingerprinted club we shouldn’t have left it but we don’t have this problem in America do we so exactly this problem are the EU being difficult no they’re not they’re not doing it to us they’re
Doing it to everyone we just think it’s about us cuz we think everything’s about us everyone who country this is a long slow process of punishment we’re very very sorry that we left it’s happening to people who are from Congo it’s happening from everyone who’s not in the
EU it’s not about us everyone I love you two together let’s move on Emma the sun page four hospitals on three-w week ghost slow gee more misery more weights more long long long delays so we’ve just been hearing about this yet another catastrophic winter crisis looming we
Hear that every single winter and now the hospitals they’re only going from now until January the 10th they’re effectively going to be working at full capacity for 4 days a week because they’ve got strikes they’ve got a three-day strike happening this Wednesday until Saturday and then from
January the 3D until the 9th they’re striking for six days that’s their longest strike yes plus weekends plus um all the other all the strikes holidays and weekends so we really people are waiting we’ve got the record numbers of of people on the waiting list an absolute misery I just think these
Strikes need to be dealt with so that effectively means Hugo doesn’t it that any routine care has to be parked and it is all just mid January what about Cancer Care and stuff like that is that prioritized it depends whether it’s urgent it depends whether it’s I think
It’s you know chemo would be classed as urgent whereas I don’t know other other appointment it’s a bit like when you when you when you call a call center and they say we are currently experiencing an unusually high volume of calls and they’re not because that happens every
Time it’s like that with the NHS uh it’s always overwhelmed there’s always too much why because we don’t give it enough money oh come on no it’s not stupid money we we all can’t just pour money down the dur pic during the pmic management it’s not to do with the same
Thing I mean during the pandemic we all sat there thinking uh this is the national priority there is no limit the amount of money you have to give to a Health Service when it’s when when the risk is everybody getting ill and dying if you don’t we’ forgotten that very
Quickly I the respectfully I know people will save more and more money I think there’s a balance I think there is many many examples of money being spent ridiculously from the story I could give you when I went to a hospital where they opened a packet of 60 paracetamol
Tablets give two and throw 58 away the local hospital in Wind I’ve told this before on the show The Princess Margaret Hospital when Co was on said to the NHS the Private Hospital uh yet 10 million quid thank you very much indeed you can have 90% capacity they never put more
Than four people in there that is apping management not just about you know taking one packet of uh parac thr away no it’s about procurement it’s about the fact that they pay ÂŁ20 for that packet of paral there’s huge wasted through throughout the system there’s huge amounts of middle management that don’t
Need to be there we we don’t need to pour more money in we have massive pressures from from immigration and we have huge wastage that’s where the money is being wasted and the junior doctor is calling for 35% pay increase which is way above what others within the NHS
Have accepted does the public still have sympathy with the junior doctor’s calls are they getting more and more isol oh I’d imag I’d imagine they absolutely are but then see this in context with where we were talking about dentists earlier you know it is a battle to keep
Doctors within the NHS in the same way it’s a battle to keep dentists within the in the NHS the problems we have with with both these things they’re huge and they’re to do with the structure of the NHS itself it’s because we’re not willing to look at systems other
Countries have we don’t have long enough parliamentary systems do we in place to actually do something fundamental what’s the Thought I mean I’ve thought this for a long time why don’t we just accept the NHS is not fit for purpose we’ve got an older population we’ve got a a far less
Healthy population is it time for NHS part two I think is it time to revamp a bit like the home office Jeremy that would require politicians with some ideas and but Sarah there’s ones who aren’t just looking reelected in years and having some longevity in their mind
But if I may I think people have a reasonable fear of what we might get instead we might get something wonderful like the German system we might something terrible like the American system you know and so I think that there’s a there’s an understandable fear of of rocking the boat even when it’s
Not working and I’m afraid I think people’s patience is running out with doctors and nurses who go into a profession to care and then you see ambulances just you know ambulance workers on strike and I think these strikes are actually testing the public but you see I I saw I saw Hugo’s face
And I get that I think everybody should be but explain to me the Optics of saying I want 35% when the same people in Scotland have accepted 13 when Consultants have accepted 12.75 I don’t think you are going to in the end to a general public
Who is on its backside with a cost of living crisis I don’t think you’re going to Garner that much enthusiasm when you say 35% we’re all walking out Jun let’s remember Junior doctors are anything up from traine to consultant level exactly so this is doctors in general this is
Junior doctors is such a misleading term the general public Jeremy exactly as you say is not getting anything like 35% in their in their wage packet I would suggest that the people that run the junior doctors don’t understand about Optics because I would think it’ss ebing away whilst there’s an understanding
About you know people are say oh you bang this yeah we did all that but 35% ain’t working mate I think their priority isn’t Optics you know their their priority is winning and I mean there are there there are some professions that get stuck in a situation whereby because they don’t
Strike over the course of quite a long period their conditions really really deteriorate you look at teachers you look at the police for example bit different theth service a bit different dra care it’s a bit different it’s a bit different because doctors do this and because nurses do this again course and
So 20 years where it where it hurts the most and in the run up to Christmas then people will die shall we have a look Hugo at the Sun and this is a story we were just discussing with Norman Baker a short time ago that two migrants
Living on the Biby Stockholm barge have been arrested on suspicion of a sex attack at a nightclub in Portland yes this is a this is a grim story it’s not a terribly surprising story it’s as you say um uh the Biby stock Home is is finally housing housing housing migrants
Uh and um they are mixing with the with the local community as migrants wherever their house do uh and two of them have been arrested um and you know the local community will uh object to there being a barge Park there full of migrants as they always have uh perhaps reasonably
Yeah Emma why do you say it’s not a surprising story I think if they’re here and they’re and they’re waiting on the BB stockhome they shouldn’t be out or they shouldn’t be potentially we don’t know what’s we don’t know what they’ve been whe they’ve been actually convicted
But um what it is pretty surprising that I don’t think migrants could be out and then possibly uh perpetrating sex attacks on the local population I don’t think it’s surprising that they’d be out these aren’t people that were looking up in jail they’re Asylum Seekers uh
Sometimes it will go wrong I mean I don’t I don’t think I mean you might think that the Asylum Seekers who come here should be held on a barge and not allowed to leave it I mean we’ve already had the reports haven’t we that they’ve been treated like animals on the barge
We had the story last some some killed themselves last week on the I mean if the alternative is sailing them out to sea and leaving them there uh I don’t think anyone’s I don’t want to do that I’m just wondering why they’re out nightclubbing and and um harassing local
Women I think it goes back to Optics again you know what you just said about the the junior doctors I think if you are and we’re out of London Centric mode if you sat in Liverpool and you’re grafting and you can’t afford you think they’re getting money to go out and
Party I’m not having it mate it’s not how I see it Emma uh Pope Francis front page of the Guardian this is a this is a huge moment isn’t it to be fa the Catholic Church significant change of position for the Catholic Church um he
Hasn’t gone all the way the pope is not talking about marriages or even or even actual blessings but it’s um blessings for same-sex and unmarried couples um not marriage and no kind of ritualized ceremony but it is a small step towards welcoming um unmarried and same-sex couples into the church um we are
Running out of time so I just want to um turn because we did talk about this beforehand the perfect turkey the perfect turkey we all need tips on this asking Hugo or me because our wives are going to perfect turkey a goose I don’t cook the turkey e Goose on Christmas
Absolutely why better nicer they are Hugo RI is having Goose yes I like that it’s quite classy people are cooking the goose the team are cooking the goose for for Hugo motherinlaw I’m going to give you advice on a turkey as someone who hasn’t eaten meat for 20 years okay even
More there you go take going to cycle around Regent’s Park with a banana or a carrot having happy Christmas cycle around reg anyway take it out earlier let it rest in its juices don’t overcook it they tell you to overcook it because they’re worried they’re worried about
Yeah they dry it out but they’re worried about bacteria and all of that so take it out before me out I’ve never cooked a turkey in my life what you do have you eaten it yes I cook a turkey brine it that’s what’s important brine it brine it what
Does that mean brine it veg it means soak it in salty water the night before well over it gets it stops it from drying out very important yeah oh never tried that one or go to M&S and get a turkey Crown 35 minutes B well I haven’t anyway yeah fantastic thank you feedback
Go cook a turkey you Mike Emma and Hugo will be back with more papers in just under an hour now though 20 minutes to 8:00 Tuesday morning Emily Rose Adams how’s your news headlines good morning Rescuers in China are searching for survivors after at least 118 people were
Killed in a huge earthquake in the northwest of the country the magnitude 6.2 Quake struck the Gansu region during the early hours of this morning and since then emergency crews have faced subzero temperatures as they look through the wreckage around 250 people have so far been injured meanwhile in
Iceland thousands of people have been forced out of their homes after the eruption of a huge volcano lava has been spilling from the 2m crack close to the Blue Lagoon destroying homes and businesses in its path the country’s prime minister has reassured locals who could no longer work as a result the
Main issue now is to ensure that the people in grenic have salaries they cannot go to work now in grinavic obviously the main issue is also to ensure housing and we have proposed a bill for the parliament to ensure the salaries for the next 3 months and we
Are working as fast as we can to ensure proper housing and four out of five dentists in England are no longer taking on new NHS patients according to a new report by the nfield trust NHS Dentistry is at its most perilous point in its 75y year history due to access issues the
Lack of funding and the pandemic I’ll be back with more news at 8:00 Emily thank you very very much indeed loads of people getting in touch as ever talk today at talk. TV text 287 treble to start your message with the word talk yeah one of the most extraordinary I’ve
Just seen about dental services Noah said I don’t even bother trying at to see a dentist in this country anymore my wife’s in the Philippines and whenever we need treatment we prefer to travel there and get it done it costs us the same and is just as good I mean that’s
Quite a reflection a flight to the Philippines is easier and cheaper than getting dentistry in the United Kingdom what do you make of this this this thing today front front of the The Daily Mail the worst crisis in 75 years hundreds of thousands of people can’t get a a
Dentist appointment we want to hear from you on that story but right now what is it 180 minutes to eight now what’s happening is it going to be a white Christmas please as you said it so nicely do you know to for it to be a white Christmas
Technically if you’re putting a bet on only one flake of snow needs to fall there probably in Scotland where it’s always cold but only one flake of snow it doesn’t need to even be lying on the ground are you advocating gambling asn’t he gaffa no I’m just saying all right
Okay I’ll have a ten what price have we got let’s have a look uh it’s looking Wet times radio sponsors talk TV weather good morning it’s generally looking wet for the run up to Christmas this week and very windy as well from Wednesday into Thursday and especially so on Friday the met office already have warnings in force from the north of England and Wales northwards for
Thursday as there will be widespread strong winds cly this area of low pressure that won’t be directly impacting us it won’t hit us so to speak but it will bring those very strong winds and spells of rain at times then a hint of something a bit colder across
Parts of Scotland that may bring wintry showers for Christmas over High ground but until then it’s a case of a wet start across England and Wales this morning very mild especially so in the Southeast that rain will be steadily clearing away Southeast was everywhere else is a sunny start mainly dry except
For some blustery showers over the Northwest those showers becoming a bit more widespread across Scotland through this afternoon abedine sh probably staying drri a few of them wintry Over The High Ground there sunshine and showers for Northern Ireland today not too many of those showers for Northern
England and the rest of England and Wales seeing sunshine and dry conditions into this afternoon but temperatures will become lower once that rain clears southeastwards so we are looking at highs into the high single figures generally across much of the UK for today so a bit cooler than in the last
Couple of days tonight showers will continue and that rash of showers will spread further Inland and further southwards across Scotland Northern Ireland the Republic the north and west of England and Wales otherwise it’s a mostly dry and clear night but winds will start to pick up in strength from
The Northwest and then for tomorrow we are looking at very windy conditions developing throughout the day especially across northern areas with further showers there Too times radio sponsors talk TV weather thank you NZ plenty more still to come here on the program including pressure continues to grow on Israel to call a ceasefire in Gaza military analyst Shawn Bell is here next and do please keep getting in touch with views and opinions
This is talk today a very good morning it’s quter to8 do not go anywhere we’re coming right back we’re here thanks for joining us de with talk TV on TV on radio online run your smart speaker as well criminals to using XL Bully dogs as weapons to threaten others no matter how well

The co inquiry seems to have turned into a sort of pantomim there’s not really any substance to it it’s hard to know whether it’s a fce or a tragedy the amount of time it’s taken the number of illegal migrants currently sent by us to Rwanda zil the amount of
Money it’s cost we saying what are we saying it’s cost about 140 million ÂŁ40 million so far so ÂŁ140 million so for result nil absolutely nil are we only going to be trusting sources like meta and Google where is our unbiased news going to come for Kell in winter is
Cold that is from the Jeremy Corbin book Kevin O Sullivan is the worst presenter on talk TV sitting on his fat ass talking Li if you’re walking towards me and you’re a vegan she have a great big orange sticker over here saying watch out vegan’s about the weirdest plank
That we’ve had in three years hundreds and hundreds of mice in a box which he walks into a branch of McDonald MC Mouse man MC mouseman he should be easy enough to catch this guy shouldn’t he I mean he’s got house full of mice this is a major Summit President
Biden decided this was important after watching a Tom Cruz film sunac and the current conservative government are not conservative why don’t you leave that party and come to one that actually shares your ideology this has been a party political broadcast reform UK party kids think all they have to do is
Take pictures of everything just shut down Tik Tok problem solved this is really unfair what what what’s unfair if it’s on camera we’re not doing interviews yes I’m going to do you’re going to Res yes cuz I cannot continue my work when I say I am God I’m not
Joking did you feel Elvis was controlling I’ve been answering your question you answer mine it’s actually not my job to answer your questions are you prep to call teror group is it possible to have a rational I’ve asked you two questions should Hass stay in power and are they a terror group you’re
Refusing to answer either of them that is very telling talk TV is the only place where you get the truth you’ve done a book on poetry poetry and music for the many I love poetry we can agree on that Welcome back to talk today it is 7:48 now tonight the UN will vote on whether there should be a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas the vote was postponed last night and it’s believed the US is trying to tone down the wording this comes as senior Tor MPS put
Pressure on the government to back an immediate halt of fighting whilst the chair of the commons Foreign Affairs committee Alysia Kern says Israel has gone beyond self-defense joining us now is the perfect man to sum this up military analyst good friend of mine Shawn Bell Sean thanks for coming back
On talk today um let’s just before we talk about the tunnels and all that there is no doubt there is growing International pressure on Israel we saw the Israeli ambassad to the UK uh refuting a plan for a two-state solution the other day it feels like there’s a shift would you
Agree good morning Jeremy morning Sarah yeah I absolutely do I think as you say that for me despite the details what’s actually going on here is that ultimately you need to know what the end state is politically before you drive a military campaign the West the UK the US
Believe that inate was a two-state solution um but um despite um expecting a growing a of expectation that Netanyahu and his team have finally turned around and said no we’re not in favor of a two-state solution but they haven’t said what what they are in favor
On it feels and smells a lot like a one-state solution and if that was the case that would put the US and the UK in very very difficult position and that’s why the pressure is mounting at the moment that’s why the US and the UK are very uncomfortable that’s why you’re
Hearing growing calls now for a ceasefire to bring this to an end and there’s a growing Rift I think between prime minister Netanyahu and the West over this whole this single issue and you had the US defense secretary uh yesterday in Israel talking about this and being careful to still talk about
Israel’s right to defend itself And yet when we talk about the next stages and the day after this huge Divergence of opinion what does the US do now well it’s it’s it’s incredibly difficult I’d imagine behind closed doors now there’s some very difficult conversations going on and just to make
Sure that for the viewers we we are crystal clear here you know the West has condemned Russia for invading Ukraine because it claims Ukraine has a right to its own self-determination so how can the us then turn around and say to Israel that it’s uh completely
Reasonable to go into Gaza and the West Bank and actually um take that over um so presentation this creates a real issue for the US they’ve used their veto and the the vote tonight from the UN Security Council that should have happened last night um but because the
Language was expected not to be acceptable again but it’s pretty clear that rather than having the vote in the US just going look we’re not going to let this uh ceasefire happen now they are trying desperately to find a form of words that does work because and that
Just reflects the growing us frustration with Israel and it’s not about the conduct of the war it’s although that’s concern it’s about this end State and where Israel’s aspirations lie this is why I wanted you on today B because I for me nobody can take away the genocidal terrorism of October the 7th
And everybody does not really in any way want to see what’s going on but you end up with different factions the point here is what happens at the end can I bring in the United Nations you talked about uh a vote should have been last night they’re turning does anybody
Really care I mean here’s the thing is netu who I suspect if he wasn’t at War would be gone because the Israeli people will blame him for allowing October the 7th to happen on his watch so to speak is this about countries making themselves look and feel better are are
Israel going to listen to the U and I don’t think they are might they not even listen to the US what well there’s two issues there Jeremy one of which is the power of the UN I mean the UN General Council um can simply um provide guidance to countries
Has no teeth at all but the UN Security Council the 15 members of that they have teeth they can impose their will now it would be interesting to see how they’d actually do that in Israel’s case but that there is very definitely if the UN Security Council votes in favor
Unanimously and the big five do not veto it then absolutely they can make stuff happen but turning to your point about nethan yahu we’ve got to be careful here yes Netanyahu is being in battle but his right-wing government it’ll be quite interesting it sounds like um a majority
Of his the political um supporters in Israel are populist they are Keen to demonstrate they’ve solved the Hamas problem and they only way they they currently think they can do that is through military means and to not a two-state solution the challenge with that is this this has been 80 years of
Conflict and that has failed to come to a solution in Israel and that’s why great minds much greater than I have decided that the two-state solution and if you remember Yasser Arafat back in the90s he and um the then uh Israeli Prime Minister worked really hard under
Clinton’s leadership to find a way to to make the two State work and they were coalescing around that they won um the the Peace Prize for for for their efforts it takes Really Brave statesmanship the easy option is to keep reverting to military means it doesn’t
Work I think the Gaza the Pas the um G health authority has just announced it’s over 18,700 Palestinians and Hamas have died so far over 50,000 have been injured can I can I say because I know I’m sort of a lone voice sometimes so you’re much better at explaining this I’m not sure
How you negotiate with terrorists if hamus is ABS they’ve said it we want to get rid of all Jews right how can you have a two-state solution or how can you negotiate with people who want to murder you and eradicate you off the face of the Earth surely that is what netu and
His right-wing populist government will keep saying to the Israeli people notwithstanding the horror that’s my point I don’t understand how that works yeah so without having a history lesson I think that one of the concerns is Hamas actually does does Hamas represent the Palestinian people if you
Look at the last few years um you live in Gaza you’ve had 50% unemployment the your quality of life has deteriorated politics doesn’t seem to have worked and therefore Hamas has offered hope it’s offered let’s let’s change the ground R let’s bring the International Community
In what was hamas’s aim by going in and attacking on that fateful day of 7th of October they no match for Israel um militarily what they were almost certainly trying to do was bling bring the International Community in to try to solve the plight of the Palestinians and
Now nobody’s justifying how they went about it was an awful event on the 7th of October but if a ceasefire is called if Hamas is still alive and they’ve got hostages they will almost certainly be able to negotiate a better future for the Palestinians in Gaza and the West
Bank and ultimately that’s what they’re seeking to do just want one quick final thought from you on the tunnels uh Israel’s military says it’s discovered hamas’s biggest tunnel very close to the Gaza border huge can fit cars down it how on Earth did Hamas manage to construct this we talked about the
Intelligence spending all the money that was supposed to be the people how did this happen well there’s a whole Subterranean world isn’t there where um we’ they’ve discovered this biggest T 3 meters in um diameter 4 kilometers long um goes right up to the area’s Border in the north of
Gaza and and the question is how many more of these tunnels are around I think what’s interesting though you must remember that Hamas because they’re no match militarily they will have judged that by having a tunnel Network that provides them with asymmetric Advantage the Israeli Defense Force have no answer
At the moment to how to get into those tunnels so if you were Hamas and you were planning and you had decades to plan this is what you would do because Israel doesn’t have an answer on it it creates the opportunity yes you spent the money that should be on aid but
Ultimately they would justify that by saying yes but if we BR a better future for Palestinians then that was a good investment Sean listen it’s always a pleasure so delighted you joined us Sean Bell thank you very much indeed my friend still to come and talk today in
His first TV interview since his son’s killer was told he would remain in prison we speak exclusively Jane Boulder’s father Ralph about whether he’s managed to find any inner peace at all following the parole Ball’s decision I remember keep in touch with your views and opinions this is talk today it is

You’re refusing to answer either of them that is very telling talk TV is the only place where you get the truth you’ve done a book on poetry poetry and music for the many I love poetry we can agree on that on TV on Radio and on your smartphone this is talk TV This is talk today with Jeremy Kyle and Sarah houon good morning T has just gone 8:00 on Tuesday the 19th of December you’re with talk today on TV radio online and on your smart speaker our top stories this morning the Rwanda deal faces another hurdle today as the Home
Secretary James cleverly appears in front of the Lord committee after John venol was denied parole in the talk TV exclusive we’ll be joined by his victim’s dad Ralph buer and the government will set out its guidance for schools over trans pupils later today will it be decisive or they just pass
The buck the teachers will speak to one and hear his thoughts after 9:00 this morning and rain will be clearing Southern areas of the UK this morning allowing for lots of sunshine across the UK today but for some there will be blustery showers I’ll have the details
Very soon thank you as welcome to Tuesday and welcome back Emily Rose Adams thank you very much we were just talking about kids can I just do this I don’t mean to abuse my position my wife’s just texted and said Oliver is putting tattoos on on on everybody this

Everybody else is having kids uh if you do like to be involved with the show today as ever thank you for for doing it talk today at talk. TV text 87 tr2 start your message with the word talk that trans debate is going to be interesting
After 9 o’ this morning yes we’re going to be hearing from a teacher we’re also going to be hearing from a former head teacher and we’ll be getting their thoughts on the government’s guidelin it’s been long awaited has the government got the balance right much debate yeah there is much debate they
Are saying that pupils you know if they go to the school in most instances that that the teacher should tell parents which we think is right but then you have to look at maybe kids from families where the parents aren’t very good very attentive and the teacher is the first
Point of order in terms of abuse and stuff like that it’s difficult isn’t it Greater protections under these guidelines for teachers who might use the wrong pronouns and misgender a child wouldn’t be punished or Fe losing their job Common Sense maintaining Single Sex toilets and changing rooms uh for
Example we will be getting into all of that later on I’m still recovering from when I took my daughter to Brighton University and there was a to the toilet said anyone’s welcome you don’t want to sit down on a toilet that a man’s used do you um no not particularly I’m I’m
Quite happy with my own toilets good talk today at talk. TV text to 87 tri2 meanwhile Emily Rose Adams has your news headlines good morning Rescuers in China are searching for more survivors after at least 118 people were killed in a huge earthquake in the northwest of the

Housing four out of five dentists in England are no longer taking on new NHS patients according to a new report by the nafil trust NHS Dentistry is at its most perilous moment in its 75 year history due to access issues a lack of funding and the pandemic Shadow Chief
Secretary to the treasury Darren Jones has told talk today it’s time to reform the outdated policies over the last 13 years even though dentists and politicians of all parties quite frankly and others have been saying that the government needs to review it the government has failed uh to do so and
That’s why we’re in this position now where denry is essentially privatized across the country because most people could only see a dentist if they are a private paying patient and schools could soon be able to overall parents who want their children to change their gender identity if they feel it goes too far
Long awaited transgender guidance for schools in England is expected to be published by the government today and the times is reporting that schools will also be told they’re under no general duty to allow children to socially transition you’re up to date I’ll have more headlines at half past 8 Emily
Thanks very much indeed lots of you have been getting in touch about that last story the government’s new guidance to be announced today on how schools should deal with with trans pupils Grace has got in touch and said as a parent myself I think we should be in charge of
Looking after our own children he here but then we said didn’t we it’s difficult sometimes I suppose if the parents aren’t the parents that we hope all parents should be Katherine teachers are there to keep our kids safe they protect children who are exploring their identity from the hate and bigotry of
Others and I think under this guidance there is safe there are safeguarding measures that if a teacher didn’t feel it was safe to talk to a parent about a child’s gender absolutely would have to do so H gima says I’m a teacher and my job is to prepare today’s youth for tomorrow’s
Leadership I need to instill the information a child needs to become a productive member of society I have no interest in their sexualities or identities let’s leave the installation of morality to parents interesting Oliver teachers are not qualified to diagnose gender dysphoria they should be handled between parents and medical
Personnel completely agree Nick new guidance should depend on the factors posing risk to our children parents and their mindset is a major piece of puzzle in every home having a strict law could lead us to dangerous outcomes the welfare of children uh must come first this is non-statutory it’s not going to
Be law it is guidance for schools uh they’ve been waiting for this for a long time we’re going to be hearing from those working in schools later on in the program and in 15 minutes a talk today exclusive Jamie beler sadly taken all those years ago his father Ralph his
Only TV interview since venables was quite rightly denied parole will be on this show right now though now has your weather what’s it looking like is it going to be white at Christmas is it going to be snowy there may be a few wintry flurries on Christmas day in
Scotland that’s right shall I go then you told the weather now uh for today though Sunshine is the key Word times radio sponsors talk TV weather good morning this week the runup to Christmas generally looks quite wet and windy as well especially from Wednesday into Thursday and especially so on Friday it’s cursy of an area of low pressure just to the west of Iceland now
It’s not going to directly impact us it won’t hit us so to speak but it will bring with it there a tightly packed Isa bars widespread strong winds over those days and there are already warnings from the Met Office for Thursday from the north of England and Wales northwards
For those very strong disruptive winds which could cause some travel disruption if you are heading to your Christmas locations on those days this morning though it’s uh not so windy but it’s a very wet damp dull start across England and Wales that rain does quickly clear away Southeast was by this afternoon
Allowing for Sunshine across much of the UK so a sunny afternoon across Scotland a sunny start there this morning as well some showers across central western and Northern areas a few wintry Over The High Ground a few showers scattered across Northern Island largely dry there maybe the odd shower or two across parts
Of the northwest of England and Wales but generally across England and Wales once that rain clears the southeast It’s A Fine Dry sunny afternoon uh perfect day really for mid December temperatures highest in the Southeast at the moment but once that rain clears through they will lower so at best the daytime highs
Today for this afternoon will be in single high figures then tonight we’ll see a Russia showers continuing to spread further southwards across Scotland Northern England perhaps for the north of Wales Island and Northern Island further south of that from the Midland South Wass I think just staying
Most ly dry and clear it will start to become quite blustery from the north as well it will be quite a cool night overall for many areas tomorrow we see more show Rain push its way southwards across much of Scotland Northern England Ireland Northern irland parts of Wales
And down towards some areas of the West Midlands so wetter tomorrow for Scotland uh still quite cool as well and becoming windy through the day Northern Ireland also seeing patchy outbreaks of rain as well as much of northern England particularly to the Northwest and Wales the West Midlands too further south than
East so mostly dry but it will be quite a Cloudy and dull day compared to Today times radio sponsors talk TV weather thank you so much and now now to our top story this morning the Lord’s committee has set to question home secret James cleverly today over the controversial Rwanda Asylum plan the revised plan has gone through two rounds of voting in the House of Commons after
The original treaty was deemed unlawful by the UK super Supreme Court in November I am delighted joining us now on a Tuesday conservative commentator and Legend Benedict Spence minus the member mustach how are you sir I’m okay how are you doing I’m all right mate loads to get through today uh Rwanda
Doesn’t seem to go away today it’s in front of the Lords we know the Lords are going to pick it to bits and justify their 300 quid a day um I repeat a question I put to you last week very strange Hill for sunak to choose to die
On or am I missing the point it it is um I think there was a point to it at one stage and that was a distraction tactic I think we’ve gone beyond that now but it is now I think more a question of the government’s credibility can it actually
Get a policy that it’s been pursuing for so long uh passed into law in any amount of time uh to try to persuade anybody that it does actually have an agenda I don’t think anybody believes that this will solve the problem and I think even the deterrent aspect uh has probably
Gone as we’ve sort of picked over the bones of it and you know you find out how many people will actually end up going in the best case scenario how many people would end up coming back as a result it just doesn’t seem to be something that is a deterrent at all it
Seems to be an opportunity for the government to sort of start a new brexit esque sort of fight against entrenched interest against statutes against the broader Judiciary is there the time for that really with about 12 I me the Prime Minister last night said that it will be
Next year he confirmed we prob knew probably he was at a drinks party for all of you out there he said he said it a drinks party he said and I quote the election will be at some time in 2024 I can’t imagine I suppose that’s because
They could technically have pushed it to 2025 January 20 I don’t think you should do stand up you he could have really really sort of rubbed it in really made us suffer a little bit more and pushed it to January so we’d have another year of his government and then we’d have to
Vote in The Bleak Midwinter but you know that’s good of him that for once um yeah so going toward uh forward towards the Lords committee anybody think it’s going to happen in time probably not and then parliamentary recess as of tomorrow and there will be a lot of head scratching
To do for richy sunak for James cleverly uh how are they going to get this Rwanda deal through when it comes back to the Commons in January honestly I don’t I don’t see how it goes through without a lot of changes being made a lot of amendments being made and even then I
Just see it being a very long dragged out process legal process and that’s why I’m sort of sat here bewildered that they’re trying to do this because I just don’t think they’re at the time somebody told me sorry me somebody said to me the other day a politician who will remain
Anonymous said to me if one plane and one person takes off they will say we’ve done what we said the most contentious piece of legislation in 5,000 years we want to cure this if it doesn’t they’ll say we’ve tried everything the Supreme Court the labor party all the do gooders
They’ve made it impossible but for me that doesn’t get to the Crux of the problem is why we’ve got 170,000 waiting to be processed that’s what needs to the cost the cost of getting just one person to Rwanda has been astronomical the cost of getting no people to Rwanda would be
Embarrassing and people would turn around and say maybe the Lefty lawyers have frustrated you that is their job that’s kind of what they do the taxer are the government and you’ve had this is not something that just happened this year 5 years actually since we saw the small boats crosses star five years
They’ve had to get a handle on this they haven’t even got the planes yet well that’s the most disgraceful thing is the idea that we had this didn’t we two two days ago it turned out that no commercial carriers want to carry people obviously no commercial carriers want to
Carry people activists Target these planes people get Rowdy you need dedicated vehicles for this sort of thing we don’t have them why because we’re not because we’re not taking it seriously ultimately it’s a state Enterprise it’s a state operation um that’s what if you are going to take
This seriously and you’re going to Outsource your problem to another country at least have the gumption to fund getting them there in a proper and secure way why AR Earth we putting dangerous Asylum Seekers on commercial flights with ordinary members of the public anyway I I’ve always found that
It’s almost it’s it’s almost like I much sense he’s got like his his senses have left his head this is hardly able to get through if it does get through I suspect it’s not a it’s how is it a deterrent because presumably immigrants legal or whatever we go well look how long it’s
Taking them to get there so I’ll go there anyway and they just disappear and meanwhile it’s emerged that his new best friend Georgia Maloney gazumped Britain on a an a different deal to send Seekers to Albania yeah but we never had a chance with that because Italy has a
Much stronger relationship with Albania geographically as well as politically also Albania wants to join the European Union and we’re not in the European Union so what can we really do for them but Italy can do a lot because it is in the European Union and in any case
That’s probably not going to see very many people sent to Albania either the majority of people that have already come from Albania have already come from Albania and did so often legally I mean to this country we had a lot of people coming illegally but elsewhere actually
There are lots of them who have turned up legally and they already have settled families there over the last sort of 10 20 30 years so that’s not actually the issue anymore I don’t think um I just wanted to put this to as I have done all
Morning we’ll talk a bit more about um you know what rush is doing today with the lia on committee and what he’s going to wear at the Chris’s party uh story in the sun today page eight BBY Stockholm arrests two migrants living on the BBY stockhome arer been arrested on
Suspicion of a sex attack in a bar now I’ve sat here and listened to everybody telling me it’s appalling and it’s wrong and all that sort of thing and everybody has different arguments but yeah I I’d like to talk about the people uh who live in in wouth in Dorset we had a
Woman on three or four weeks ago who came on and said I I worked all my life in London I bought my house I don’t want 350 migrants walking around my town on handouts from the government doing whatever and this and we have to point out we don’t know the truth behind this
Yet this is one of the things that gets people’s goats quite rightly isn’t it I think this is why you have Rwanda as a scheme though rather than building processing centers long-term holding centers in the UK because nobody wants them near them so it’s better to say well well exactly nobody no no
Constituency is going to vote to have the sort of the supermax Detention Facility for people who are here illegally and may be deported may not may be dangerous nobody’s going to want that so yeah whilst I I have a lot of sympathy for everybody because you know we see this it destroys local
Communities in terms of the tourism industry because the government just takes over whole hotels and says well they’re not going to be any tourists this year because we need to house other people here you see it really does upset a lot of people but the government needs
To get a grip by saying okay there are going to be one two three dedicated centers they’re going to be large we’re talking probably thousands of people at any one time and I’m sorry they have to go somewhere so they’re going to go here but the deal we make with you is we
Process them quickly and we Deport them quickly because we’ve bought the planes and we know where they’ve come from if they have no right to be here we’re not seeing that we’re seeing this very odd peace Mill distraction policy which is don’t worry we’ll send them to arounda
And that’ll persuade you know 50 ,000 people not to come because 300 maybe gets but I get told you see sorry I get told that you know immigration isn’t that important to people but but these sorts of stories are hugely relevant there was a there was a lady to do with
This story said I I I don’t really want to speak out I have tried to and I get called racist not racist all it’s a desperate coping mechanism when people say that immigration isn’t that important yeah and it’s often said by people for whom immigration is vitally important to their own interests you
Know economically politically whatever it may be as as those people that say oh people don’t care about immigration uh it’s broadly speaking the most important thing at the general election uh will be how much wealthier people feel the economy and money in our pocket absolutely that’s the first thing but of
Course it has a KnockOn effect to everything else do their services work can they get you know dentist appointments that sort of thing um and of course immigration numbers because that plays a part in the economy and we’ve been told for a very long time it’s good for the economy people at the
Poorer end can understand no it puts pressure on services on housing and on wages and therefore actually when it’s gross over a million people yeah absolutely it matters and as Jen mentioned richy suak up before the liaison committee that made up of the chairs of all of the uh select
Committies this is going to be one of many subjects he’s going to be grilled on later today it’ll be fun won’t it wouldn’t you want to be Rush he going to be grilled today he’s got to work out over Christmas how he’s supposed to unite a party that’s deeply deeply
Troubled and the way it’s going he’s going to lose the election next year it’s not like he wanted the job is it no no hey see what happens when you do somebody else to get there Runa anyway good luck thank you Benedict if we don’t see you again have a happy Christmas
Still come and talk today in his first TV interview and I’m delighted to tell you this since his son’s killer was told he to remain in prison after this break was beat to James bel’s father Ralph about whether he’s managed to find any in a piece what he thinks about the par
B’s decision an amazing man and remember keep getting in touch with your views and opinions this is talk today it is 818 we’ll see you in a couple minutes we’re here thanks for joining us you’re with talk TV on TV on radio online on your smart speaker as well criminals to
Using XL Bully dogs as weapons to threaten others no matter how well trained most dog owners will tell you a dog can turn do you know what I love about talk today we do it all sunak sella scon I rather like David Cameron I don’t
Sort of bear him any ill will because he delivered the referendum that he said he would deliver the Tor is love scrap you can almost see this coming around the tracks with sella bravman she’s heading up one side and richy soon at the other the police are pro Palestine that is
Just not right you swearing off in the police to act without fear or favor the co inquiry seems to have turned into a sort of pantomim there’s not really any substance to it it’s hard to know whether it’s a fce or a tragedy the amount of time it’s taken
The number of illegal migrants currently sent by us to Rwanda zil the amount of money it’s cost we’re saying what what are we saying it’s cost about 140 million ÂŁ40 million so far so ÂŁ40 million so far result nil absolutely nil are we only going to be trusting sources
Like meta and Google where is our unbiased news going to come from Kell in winter is cold that is from the Jeremy Corbin book Kevin O Sullivan is the worst presenter on talk TV sitting on his fat ass talking liit if you’re walking towards me you’re a vegan she have a great big
Orange sticker over here saying watch out vegan’s about the weirdest plank that we’ve had in about three years hundreds and hundreds of mice in a box which he walks into a branch of McDonald MC mous man MC mous man MC man he should be easy enough
To catch this guy shouldn’t he I mean he’s got a house full of mice this is a major Summit President Biden decided this was important after watching a Tom Cruz fil sunac and the current conservative government are not conservative why don’t you leave that party and come to
One that actually shares your ideology this has been a party political broadcast on behalf of the reform UK party hi off kids think all they have to do is take pictures of everything just shut down Tik Tok problem solved this is really unfair what what what’s unfair if
It’s on camera we’re not doing interviews yes I’m going to do you’re going to Res yes course I cannot continue my work when I say I am God I’m not joking did you feel Elvis was controlling I’ve been answering your question you answer mine it’s actually
Not my job to answer your questions are you prepared to call h a terror group is it possible have a rational I’ve asked you two questions should aass stay in power and are they a terror group you’re refusing to answer either of them that is very telling talk TV is the only
Place where you get the truth you’ve done a book on poetry poetry and music for the many I love poetry we can agree on that welcome back to talk today 8:21 Tuesday morning let’s move on to a story we’ve been following closely on talk today that decision from the parole board last
Week to keep one of the killers of James Bulger Behind Bars John venol was 10 years old when he murdered James in merys side in 1993 and after serving nearly eight years for the heinous crime he’s since been recalled to prison twice for possessing child abuse images
Delighted to say I’m now joined by James father at Ralph belger Ralph first of all thank you so much I know it’s the first time since that parole board made that decision that you’ve done a TV interview Sarah and I very delighted you’re here um we talked
Before what were your thoughts when you found out initial thoughts initial reaction cl’s kept being kept in like Public’s a bit bit more safer for two years so so it’s a better of a result did you get any inner piece from it or is it just a thought of what you just
Said which is in two years we’re going to have to again just two years of not having to worry about them now this hearing took place in private because of the issues around identification uh so you couldn’t attend would you have wanted to be there in the
Room as this decision was made how would you feel to come face to face with him if I wouldn’t really want to to be honest with you you don’t know what what what would happen What feelings it stay so um if if if if we can talk about I know it’s
Difficult for you um this argument I mean I had somebody on had written a book about the whole story the other day who said to me and I quote and I doubt you’re takeing it we’ve always been Str each other um a child at 10 is not
Evil well he was to which I said well it was was premeditated cuz another kid got away the minute before your son didn’t right he was very lucky so um I’ve always been under the belief of he wants to commit again um he’s just waiting for his chance so and he’s been
Let out twice as Sarah said in the introduction and and has been recalled to prison twice and like I say he he knows out how to Li lie to them because that’s that he was taught to lie his identity so he knows what he’s do I
Mean for you this is effectively a life sentence isn’t it because every two years you are going to go back through this process wondering whether he’s going to be release what impact does that have it’s just mental sort you know me it’s it is what it is but are you almost oblivious sanitized
To it by now because you’ve had it for 30 years well I’m just used to getting door slammed in me face to be honest with you so it’s just you got a bit th thick skins you talk about the door being slammed in your face do you feel now
With this decision do you feel that you’re being listened to and that your views and your needs are being heard hopefully they do listen because like I say he’s a Tak time B like as I I feel deep down in the art as soon soon as he
Gets the chance to commit again he will my my my my sort of lack of agreement with that man the other day was that he’s one of those people that thinks that everybody could be rehabilitated and he threw at me the fact that Thompson the other person no I’m with
You mate I’m just doing the job you know how strongly I’m with you the other guy Thompson has been apparently rehabilitated and is out and isn’t going to reoffend but that to me led me to say to him but surely some people are so evil they should never be released and let’s
Not forget what he did to James and then let’s not forget about the sexual pornography to do with children and and there’s a massive part of me that goes hold on a second what are we doing as a society you’re done mate you don’t deserve your Liberty well you You’ just
Got to look at the when he was going on the dark web to cover up how to mess with kids that that speaks volumes so he wouldn’t be doing that unless he was PL in something but what would you say to the people who say his partner in crime
Thompson has been rehabilitated if you’ve been sat with me the other day what would you have said to that man who said children aren’t evil at 10 he he’s he’s just keeping his heads down that’s all he’s doing he’s keeping his head down whereas the other one has proven
That he can’t he likes what he’s doing he didn’t even turn up for his own parole hearing yeah did he I mean what does that say to you he’s not bothered there’s no been no remorse though Sarah has there R there I’ve never heard any remorseful comment just a apparently
There was real anger that he hadn’t been released as if he felt he was going to be released so release release and then he calls another another child or a mother and child then who’s El responsible for letting them out and I mentioned that the hearing was held in
Private because of his anonymity you you’ve campaigned hard that you want that lifted you don’t think he should have that right well people should know what he looks like so at least for wared it’s best to be for warned is it what I mean I it’s one
Of those subjects mate because I know you and I’ve known you for years that that gets my goat so much and and I and I don’t understand Sarah maybe you disagree with me I think there are certain things in life that mean that you you lose the right to be treated
Like the rest of civilization a and I am sick and tired of hearing people say to me but you know he’s changed well hold on a second you just Ed the best sentence you and your ex-wife have been given a life sentence James got no chance and yet we’re debating whether a
Taxpayers cost this piece of trash who can I just repeat again right has come out twice because parole thought he’ changed to make problems with kids and sexual abuse images is there not a case of like as a society we should going sorry you’re too much of a danger you’ve
Had your chance you’ve broken the rules do one that’s how I see it exactly well it should be why do we not though well I wonder I mean we’ve had a series of of Justice secretaries haven’t we over the last couple of years uh the Justice secretary now Alex chalk has said the
Government’s reforming the parole system to try and introduce a stronger ministerial check on the most dangerous of vendors which I think you know John Venable certainly Falls in into that category do you feel that government intervention is the right thing and do you feel that this government is
Listening to you and taking this seriously hope hopefully they do take it serious and they’ve kept them in for a reason know what I mean so did you read that was there a was there an explanation I didn’t didn’t see it or was it just made they still think he’s
An AG to the to the public so I got really and as you mentioned that lack of remor there just been no and I got really angry actually um Sarah you went on the show but but I I called out Alex chalk and I said why are you not as the
Justice C if you talk to 99.9% of people I suspect you get the same answer and what happens the day that he’s not released Alex short jumps up and goes we’re delighted well you’re the bleeding Justice sexually why didn’t you help that that’s what that’s what
Ralph means when he says Sarah door shut in his face what do you want in an Ideal World keep off the streets make mothers and children safe change the law yeah just I thr away the key to be honest with you but that’s just me it’s not just you do you
Understand that Sarah don’t you yeah I mean look I think that somebody here has been given multiple chances at Rehabilitation and has been sent back to jail twice the most heinous original crime and then the possession of indecent images of children any parent will have the full you know fear and and
Horror of that and somebody who is anonymous as you say um because of the age at which he was when he committed this crime but but to think that somebody could be released in the community me living to your children to commit a crime at that age that the way
He did they imagine them as a fully grown man you can easily overpower a woman with a child but it have to get through that that mother to kill the child so what what would you do to the mother and I think the point is here that this is someone who has reoffended
As an adult this isn’t we’re not just talking about someone who committed CRI child everything into consideration he he likes what he’s doing he likes what he’s done and and for people actually who don’t understand what R’s saying I completely agreed he went on the dark
Web to find out ways that he could get child pornography images he I’m not I don’t I don’t don’t want to even contemplate knowing John Ben but I’m I’m with you pal I think he there must be some sort of sick twisted desire to carry on this game now you know let’s
Let’s give credit where credit is due um despite a lack of remorse despite his apparent protestations about his innocence and how he’s changed the parole board have made that decision we started and we’ll end with the same thing to you I don’t understand again I’d love to hear what Sarah says how you
Are supposed to as a family as parents go through this rubbish every two years who’s he going to convince in the next two years that he isn’t going to come out use the D web and and and and commit another crime well that’s it like I I I
Think he’ll he’ll keep doing what he’s doing no no matter what like like I say he enjoys what he’s doing that’s going L say he with the great respect it’s just other people that’s going to lose it’s it’s the public that’s going to lose it’s the mother’s children going to lose
So he say he’s got nothing to lose we posed the question earlier Ralph whether this had given you any inner peace but but hearing you now I suppose that that any sense of Peace you might have is so shortlived that once this whole system ramps up again and you’re going back on
This treadmill and back into the same process again and the fear that you don’t really have time for that sense of Peace do you no it’s Christmas a rubbish time well I’m I’ll make the the best of it I can so um listen you know as long as I’m set
Anyway you always be welcome I want you to do me a favor if you can um I’m glad he’s I’m glad he’s in prison I hope he stays there I make no secret of that and I’ll fight with you till the end of time um just to finish tell the people
Watching and listening about James he was a great great child and loved life he loved every everyone loved animals and it was just a great loss and the world’s a sad place with alter I tell you something mate and I mean this I don’t know I wouldn’t speak for Sarah
I’m not sure I could carry on if somebody did that to one of my kids and I I’m not even saying that you are the fact that you and I know your ex-wife and all that but you have both fought for what you know to be right for the
Memory of your kid whose life was taken through no fault of his own by two vile human beings and and to the fact that 30 years later you are having to be put through this every two years says very little and we can sit here Sarah and we
Can go on about governments but if I was if I was in a position where I had any say in anything like that we talk about politicians not understanding what the British people want this is a classic damn example Alex short read the room sorry but John Venable should never just
My opinion be released and I just hope you know I do pal that somewhere down the line you find some some Solace and I hope Christmas isn’t bad but most of all if that Fight Continues I’ll be with you kid thanks a lot really appreciate it
All right thank you my friend thank you Ralph so much indeed now though at almost 25 to9 a quick news update with Emily Rose Adams good morning Rescuers in China are searching for more survivors after at least 118 people were killed in a huge earthquake in the northwest of the country the 6.2
Magnitude Quake struck the Gansu region during the early hours of this morning and since then emergency crews have faced Sub-Zero temperatures as they look through the wreckage around 250 people have been injured so far meanwhile in Iceland thousands of people have been forced out of their homes after the
Eruption of a huge volcano lava has been spilling from the 2m crack close to the Blue Lagoon destroying homes and businesses in its Park the Prime Minister has reassured locals who can no longer work as a result the main issue now is to ensure that the people in gavic have salaries they
Cannot go to work now in gavic obviously the main issue is also to ensure housing and we have proposed the bill for the parliament to ensure the salaries for the next three months and we are working as fast as we can to ensure proper housing and four out of five dentists in
England are no longer taking on new NHS patients according to a new report by the nuffi trust NHS Dentistry is at its most perilous point in its 75 year history due to access issues a lack of funding and also the pandemic you’re up to date I’ll have more headlines at 9 o’
Emily thank you very much indeed and thank you to Ralph buer it makes you think doesn’t it um it’s very humbling and sobering to think of you know 30 years and what the last 30 years have been like somebody said to me he’s very quiet and he’s I couldn’t even sit there
Man total respect to him and to Denise um can I just say please do keep your thoughts coming be on that transg guidance about schools that’s coming out later uh from the government be it’s on the fact you can’t get a dentist appointment it’s probably it’s probably
More likely to go to the Moon than get a dental that has certainly got you incensed uh this morning got your teeth into it yeah I like it sorry I was a bit slow there no that’s fine it was an early start it was um Grace says I live in
Yorkshire the nearest one to me NHS dentist is 37 miles away and even they aren’t taking new patients I’m forced to go private by the system so many people saying the same thing the only option for them is private dental care or DIY Dentistry which is Terri talking about
This 2023 yeah but don’t you remember you’re much younger than me but as a kid if we had a wobbly tooth our mother put a bit of string round the tooth tied it to the door and slam the door shut I can’t even look at my children’s wobbly
Teeth it’s I love wobbly teeth anyway and also Aaron I live on the aisle of Portland and I’ve been unable to book an appointment with a single NHS dentist anywhere near me my wife and I have to travel 40 miles to Southampton the world’s gone nuts keep those calls
Coming talk today at talk. TV and text 87 tr2 start your message at the word talk now though Nas is here with the weather good morning to you nas I know we’ve been asking it all morning everybody wants to know if we’ got a prospect of a white Christmas but it’s
Pretty slim isn’t it it is there’s about a 20 to 30% chance uh and that’s really for Scotland what if we nothing we can get our teeth into then no are you still doing those tooth jokes yeah crack on crack see I’m G to brace myself for more she’s SP the Next times radio sponsors talk TV weather good morning you won’t have to brace yourself with the weather though because it’s not that cold across Southern areas this morning a very mild start although we are seeing rain and rain once it clears will lower those temperatures across much of the UK for Sunshine But
Sunshine won’t last long there will be more rain to come over the next few days and winds will also pick up in strength particularly on Wednesday Thursday and Friday and then yes there are hints of some colder air sitting to the north of the UK towards Christmas which could
Bring some wintry showers Over The High Ground of the north that’s about it other than that it’s wet as I said a wet start across England and Wales that rain is gradually moving its way southeastwards it does actually clear quite quickly I think uh so around lunchtime onwards lots of sunshine to be
Had across the UK and much dri conditions but there will be some showers around there are currently across Northern western parts of the UK they will continue over much of Scotland this afternoon towards abedinia though I think mainly dry some showers scattered across Northern Ireland and Northern
England too but I think the rest of England as well as Wales will enjoy a mainly dry and sunny afternoon temperatures as I said will become lower though as that rain clears so in the Southeast it’s mildest at the moment but later I think the highest temperatures
Will be in the highest single figures for much of the UK overnight the rasher showers continue to come in from the Northwest the winds will start to pick up and strength a little bit across northern areas too so blustery night with showers across northern areas of the UK But Central and Southern parts
Will be mostly dry and clear and overall it will be a cold night for many areas with a Brisk winds though I don’t think we’ll see too much of a frost forming perhaps in some rural spots of Scotland then tomorrow we’ll continue with those showers and rain later in the North times radio sponsors talk TV weather thank you n now still to come on talk today and this will make you feel great as it’s Christmas and you haven’t got much Doh MPS are in line for a six grand pay rise to coincide with inflation and we sent him there some
Weeks ago ic’s volcano finally erupt but nickelby missed it Emma wolf and Hugo riffkin are back for final look through this morning’s papers keep getting in touch with your views too this is talk today it is 8:39 we’re here thanks for joining us you’re with talk TV on TV on radio online onun your smart speaker as well criminals to using XL Bully dogs as weapons to threaten other no matter how well Tred most dog owners will tell you a dog can turn you know what I love

Down Tik Tok problem solved this is really unfair what’s what what’s unfair if it’s on camera we’re not doing interviews yes I’m going to do you’re going to Res yes cuz I cannot continue my work when I say I am God I’m not joking did you feel Elvis was
Controlling I’ve been answering your question you answer mine it’s actually not my job to answer your questions are you prepared to call h a terror group is it possible to have a rational I’ve asked you two questions should aass stay in power and are they a terror group
You’re refusing to answer either of them that is very telling talk TV the only where you get the truth you’ve done a book on poetry poetry and music for the many I love poetry we can agree on that welcome back it is 8:43 let’s take a final look at some of this morning’s
Front pages the times reports on Michael Go’s insistence that the tourist can deliver three 300,000 new properties a year NHS dentists on the brink slam’s mail as a report warns of the worst crisis in 75 years and in the mirror happy to be home as missing British teen
Alex batty breaks his silence after Vanishing in 2017 so they’re back for part three writer Emma wolf and Times columnist Hugo riffkin who writes a lot every single day and is in the times today before we go to the papers I’m going to throw a curve P it we’ve got a
Bit of time um just can’t be Michael Gove has said that the torist will build it’s my favorite subject this 300,000 new homes in the next 12 months I have this view about new homes we patently need them we’ve had this discussion before on the show I’ll start with you
Hugo but I don’t care what political party you’re from when it comes to are they going to be built in your constituency everybody says no and it never gets done this is pure electioneering come on well he’s not just saying he’s going to build them in
The next year he going to build them every year every year from now 3,000,000 every year yeah from now on uh and I mean what’s happening with this story is is the plan is basically to remove powers from local authorities to block them so it so it shouldn’t matter if
Like nimes don’t want them but it’s I mean it’s still not going to happen there’ll still be ways to appeal it there’ll still be it’s very very difficult to build build homes in but have we not spoken before about how there are green belt areas that dis use
Petrol stations and places that you could quite easily build houses on you can’t have it both ways you can’t go oh I’m worried about the environment everybody’s living on the streets it doesn’t have to be green belt there are areas do they call it the gry belt which
Is kind of no but not Brownfield sites the the in between the kind of not not um just kind of industrial wastelands there Brownfield Brownfield yeah yeah yeah where where where plenty of housing could be built it doesn’t mean you know why is there a lack of appetite
Bulldozing windir or plowing up forests why talking about it now with the election on the horizon he’s plenty of time Michael Dove is not a newbie it was like yesterday Grant shaps suddenly um coming out and saying oh we’re going to smash the small boats gang we’re going
To smash criminal gangs all right it what so there’s problem that we’ve been struggling with for years and years and years but this is on a and none of you can can can deliver on you suddenly got a new plan you build more houses more people move into the area there’s
Greater strain on your schools greater strain on your on your on your hospitals on your doctors it becomes even harder to get a dentist and you don’t have the same view that you one did once did of a lovely old disused if this not though with respect exactly as we accused the
Labor party this morning of announcing they’re going to cure the Dentistry problem because they announced it before their Conference in October we’ve been talking about this that’s the sort of thing that winds me up because any politician that says that is simply saying that to GH votes we need new
Homes and they never get built well it’s also got to be very careful not to lose votes in the countryside as well typical uh Tory voters so he’s vowing not to concrete over the countryside but he is going to find places where they can build 300,000 new homes every year and
Not alienate their vot public aren’t fools they’ll all see that headline and go oh yeah right is there an election on the way I think the British politicians need to understand that the public won’t take be taken for fools anymore I think there’s been a light switch on to be
Fair Emma should we talk about MP’s pay we love them so much Junior doctor pay at their C MPS are getting a pay R and we have just been talking about doctors I’m going to call them doctors because they’re not Junior doctors these doctors on strike um and we’ve been talking
About their 35% pay demands and so in a way the MP is demanding 7.1% or in line for a 7.1% increase sort of sounds quite modest but they’re currently on 865,000 an MP this will take them to nearly ÂŁ92,000 um it will be the largest increase in a
Decade and it is 7.1% it’s in line with inflation of the previous October well I was going to say hold on a minute I thought the whole aim was to be harving inflation but they’ve conveniently stuck with the old figure with the old figure but you see it’s because MP’s pay is
Linked to public service pay generally and so they they basically they did this a few years ago people said well MPS would care more about public sector pay if it affected their own pay so they linked it public sector got public sector workers got relatively High pay
Rise because they got it at the time when inflation was very high they gave the junior doctor 35% the M will be laughing then they to get themselves up next year I think what they should do on anybody in the public sector or people like politicians if they end up getting
A rise that’s greater or On a par once inflation drops I think their wages should drop and this exactly but inflation seriously this would come into Force next spring when inflation is expected to be lower and they all be voted out anyway so it’s irrelevant to be fair yeah but when inflation drops
It’s still higher than it was before it’s not like it’s not it’s not like things here’s another debate this will shock you I think we should pay our MPS more do you know why because I think you should get rid of most of them who are rubbish and you might get better quality
But if you paid them more more they wouldn’t be able to like have shows on channels like this one it’s a very fine point Are you standing for Are you standing for for for what for for for Parliament at all not yet not yet never ruling it out never ruling it out what
About you Emma no I’ll cycle to the Westminster palace or I wouldn’t mind doing the MP bit but I just couldn’t I couldn’t stand the the on your way up where youve got to be a counselor and go and knock on doors and bother people on
A wet rainy I can people all the all the local council stuff you can’t just be an MP you know you’re not suddenly going to be propelled into the cabinet I’d love to do it but you’d want to start in the cabinet wouldn’t you you’d absolutely
And I wouldn’t want a green car I’d want a big big huge car that diesel just to wind everybody I’ll take Deputy Prime Minister nothing lower the other thing fore secretary I like I like I like JS everywhere you know Ian lot of travel travel the other thing I’d like to add
Is that the peers daily allowance so in the House of Lords this is something that gets people quite angry their daily allowance I.E they sign in go and have lunch subsidize restaurant clock out that is going from ÂŁ342 a day to 366 and I think that is getting towards so you
Turn up five days a week you’re making you’re making 100 Grand a year lots of Lords just turn up have lunch have a snooze and go home it’s not on I think I quite like the idea of that it’s like you know P of London Bridge have a
Brandy yeah have a brandy Hugo some bloke called Hugo riffkin wrote an article in the times today about moderate Tories worried that the party could fall in the hands of extremists yes yes he did uh and is it a good article I’ve read it I think it’s
Excellent what this is you think it was a dreadful article I’m so sorry he’s always good this guy and I think this week he’s particularly fine there’s a picture of him he’s very handsome he looks like a younger version of me that’s strange the by line 10 years ago
Um look what this is there was a story yesterday about uh moderates moderate MPS in the conservative party the one nation group it’s 106 MPS are apparently getting worried that the party might take an extreme turn if they lose the next election and it’ll become a party that they as moderate conservatives
Don’t feel comfortable in what I’m basically saying is where the hell have you been this is a party that since 2016 has lost Ken Clark Philip Hammond George Osborne Oliver Lewin Rory Stewart Amber r Joe Johnson all these people have resigned or been kicked out because this
Was a party that had moved too far to the right for them mainly over brexit it was a party that was behaving in ways they felt they couldn’t countenance all of a sudden you’ve got these 106 supposedly moderate Tor MPS who are going oh this might be a problem where
Have you been it was a problem five years ago seven years ago and and one of your quotes in here Richie sunat scrapes along hoping they won’t hit him too hard he’s terrified of these people yes I mean that’s what the Rwanda policy was all about because the Rwanda policy was
Nonsense is nonsense nonsense doesn’t make any sort of sense no one thinks it’s going to work but he does it anyway because he’s frightened of the right of his party I I I I would go slightly differently which won’t surprise many people no I I think that if you look
Across Europe and you look at many governments there has been a rise of right-wing movements I think that one of the things that will happen is the Tory party will absolutely fracture I think that it’s easy to say that the right of the Tory is mad I’d say that the one
Nation side would also be viewed by the right as mad I I think they will really struggle in the next 10 years to be any sort of unified Union and I wouldn’t be surprised you can laugh me I know we talk about Johnson and farage I’m not
Saying that but I can absolutely see a right-wing party I mean because for me labor labor and the one nation tours are exactly in the same seat I I I I genuinely believe there will be a move to the right whether it’s immigration cost of living or people are hacked off
With rope rubbish that just go do you know what I want I can’t have this anymore I genuinely believe and there are many many homeless conservative voters at the moment who are saying well I they’re the people that will win or lose the next election William ha was
Saying the other day you know the Tories need to be really careful right now because if they get voted out of if they lose the next election they could be out of power forever opposition is a grim place to be but but also the the landscape is changing so much and as you
Say the conservatives are so fractured at the moment so many different opposing things pulling on on every in every direction sry both these things can’t be true at once either they’re going to fracture and never be elected again or they’re going to be a or they’re going
To be this sort of rightwing power rightwing P power I think I think I think that’s kind of like but I also think when you look at the rise of rightwing parties across Europe and elsewhere there is an argument that goes you know what we’ve already done that
What Britain often does is it has and over history you go back go back centuries when other countries have revolutions we have something a bit smaller than a revolution that we get out the way first and then we sort of mudle back consensus and and in a way
Our version of the sort of populist Rising could have just been brexit fairly tame we got through it now we’re back on track and then we go back to a kind of dull k starma thing at the next but actually just bringing him up you could argue that four years ago that the
Labor party was unelectable anti-Semitism Jeremy Corbin I think I could have beaten Jeremy Corin does the Tory party need that sort of figure to come in and wipe the whole goddamn thing clean but this has been going on since mck in 97 the Tory party is famous for
Dragging itself apart isn’t it you’ll find this this excellent Hugo rifken guy in the paper making exactly that point and this is by which page is it in the times it is page 23 do by the times there’s a youngl looking man who used to shave Hugo riffkin it’s a rather
Interesting article um Emma let’s turn to the sun because the pictures are truly uh remarkable of the Icelandic volcano which has uh finally uh erupted after weeks of of residents there being on standby and this video is has truly incredible it is it is amazing there’s a
3 and a half kilometer crack in the volcano um with lava just Flo bursting out of it it’s got can see on screens right now and if you’re listening it’s just huge it’s explosion and we’ve been following this Emma we we had Nick Elby our reporter out there who stood there
For about three weeks now he’s left and the lava’s coming you got feeled well done Nick smoke was billowing into the sky the whole sky went red um about 4,000 residents nearby have been evacuated from the little fishing Town um they’ve closed the geothermal Spar I mean really quite dramatic and there’s
Been this as you say this seismic act I don’t think he’s been there for three weeks I think about three weeks ago he was covering these there was some tornado in aine or something he was somewhere very very cold it’s frightening to think though isn’t it it
Is really frightening to think and they don’t know how long this is going to continue to erupt for could be a week could be longer what I like about this volcano is it is only called grindvik and I can say grindvik because you remember that one that erupted in
201 there you go you’ve retained it because I said it times but I’ve wiped it from my memory local yeah isn’t that the one that paralyzed world air travel also it does your car yeah it does sound oh I’m sorry I’m going to have to stay in Dubai for three more
Weeks it does sound um like it should be in the Harry Potter movie doesn’t it grind but listen our thoughts are with those people Hugo to finish that newspaper the times one of two good writers right for that this is a story about the longest social memories observed in animals outside of humans
Yes so people say elephants never forget but apparently there are longer memories are to be found in chimpanzees and bonobos what’s a bonobo it’s basically a chimpanzee why didn’t you just say chimpan it’s like it’s it’s slightly different from a chimpanzee it’s a slightly different sort of chimpanzees
Remember things or they remember people they remember people for over 20 years the T fellow chimpan what puzzles me about this is I don’t know how you can tell if an elephant recognizes you it just looks like an elephant theyve remember smile I mean a chimpanzee you
Can I guess you can indicate so you met a chimpanzee 20 years later right here you go I remember you us to write the time how on Earth are they measuring that animals are just with food they they put two side by side of other Apes
From their species one is a stranger the other animal they’d live with for at least a year and their eyes are drawn to Old acquaintances and linger longer on those stranger I just don’t see this experiment working with for example an elephant or a dolphin you know imagine
Trying to hold a picture in front of a dolphin but it’s just nonsense Hugo rkin who you can find in the times today is excellent article Emma warer you can find on a bike somewhere in London uh thank you both very very much to D for coming in lots more still to calm
Including new guidelines on how schools should deal with trans pupils We’ll be asking two teachers if they think it will work please do keep getting in touch with the views and your opinions you would talk today we’re live across the UK it is Tuesday morning we’re
Coming back in three do not go anywhere Quenton let is next we’re here thanks for joining us you’re with talk TV on TV on radio online on your smart speaker as well criminals to using XL Bully dogs as weapons to threaten others no matter how well Tred most dog owners will tell you
A dog can turn do you know what I love about to today we do it all sunak sella scon I rather like David Cameron I don’t sort of bear him any ill will because he delivered the referendum that he said he would deliver the tor’s love a scrap you
Can almost see this coming around the tracks with sella bravman she’s heading up one side and richy soon at the other the police are pro Palestine that is just not right you swear an o in the police to act without fear or favor the co inquiry seems to have turned into a
Sort of pantomim there’s not really any substance to it it’s hard to know whether it’s a fce or a tragedy the amount of time it’s taken the number of illegal migrants currently sent by us to Rwanda zil the amount of money it’s cost we’re saying what are we
Saying it’s cost about 140 million1 140 million pound so far so ÂŁ140 million so far result nil absolutely nil are we only going to be trusting sources like meta and Google where is our unbiased news going to come from Kell in winter is cold that is from the Jeremy Corbin book
Kevin O Sullivan is the worst presenter on talk TV sitting on his fat ass talking for liit if you’re walking towards me and you’re a vegan you have a great big orange sticker over here saying watch out vegans about the weirdest plank that we’ve had in 3 years hundreds and hundreds of mice
In a box which he walked into a branch of McDonald MC mous man mc mous mc he should be easy enough to catch this guy shouldn’t he I mean he’s got house full of mice this is a major Summit President Biden decided this was important after watching a Tom Cruz
Film sunac and the current conservative government are not conservative why don’t you leave that party and come to one that actually shares your ideology has been a party political broadcast on behalf of the reform UK party kids think all they have to do is take pictures of everything just shut down
Tik Tok problem solved this is really unfair what what what’s unfair if it’s on camera we’re not doing interviews yes I’m going to do you’re going to resign yes cuz I cannot continue my work when I say I am God I’m not joking did you feel Elvis was controlling I’ve been
Answering your question you answer mine it’s actually not my job to answer your questions are you prepared to call h a terror group is it possible to have a rational I’ve asked you two questions should a mass stay in power and are they a terror group you’re refusing to answer
Either of them that is very telling talk TV it’s the only place where you get the truth you’ve done a book on poetry poetry and music for the many I love poetry we can agree on that on TV on Radio and on your smartphone this is talk TV this is talk today with Jeremy Kyle and Sarah Houston good morning it is 9:00 on Tuesday the 19th of December give a talk today on TV radio online and of course on your smart speaker and these are your top stories for Tuesday morning the Rwanda deal faces another
Hurdle today as the Home Secretary James cleverly appears before the Lord’s committee the PM is in the spotlight today with the liaison committee this afternoon he could be facing another by elction with the closing of Peter Bone’s recall petition and the government will set out its guidance for schools over
Trans pupils today will it be decisive or will they just pass the buck to the teachers we’ll be speaking to one and hear his thoughts and Rain clearing Southern areas this morning allowing for lots of sunshine across the UK this afternoon but for some there will be blusty showers and turning windy this
Week too it’s all happening I’ve got the details in a moment loads to cram in between now and 9:30 keep your conversations or even your comments always get the wrong talk today at talk. TV t287 tri2 start your message with the word talk just gone nine Emily Rose
Adams has your latest news headlines good morning Rescuers in China are searching for more survivors after at least 118 people were killed in a huge earthquake in the northwest of the country the magnitude 6.2 Quake struck the Gansu region during the early hours of this morning and since then emergency
Crews have faced subzero temperatures as they look through the wreckage around 250 people have been injured so far meanwhile in Iceland thousands of people have been forced out of their homes after the eruption of a volcano lava has been spilling from the 2 Mile crack close to the Blue Lagoon overnight
Destroying homes and businesses in its path and the country’s Prime Ministers reassured locals who can no longer work as a result the main issue now is to ensure that the people in gr have salaries they cannot go to work now in grindvik obviously the main issue is
Also to ensure housing and we have proposed a bill for the parliament to ensure the salaries for the next three months and we are working as fast as we can to ensure proper housing four out of five dentists in England no longer taking on new NHS patients according to
A new report by the nuffi trust NHS Dentistry is it its most perilous points in its 75e history due to access issues a lack of funding and the pandemic well the shadow Chief secretary to the treasury Darren Jones has told talk today it’s time to reform the outdated
Policies over the last 13 years even though dentists and politicians of all parties quite frankly and others have been saying that the government needs to review it the government has failed uh to do so and that’s why we’re in this position now where Dentistry is essentially privatized across the
Country because most people could only see a dentist if they are private paying patient and schools could soon be able to overall parents who want their children to change their gender identity if they feel it goes too far long awaited transgender guidance for schools in England expected to be published by
The government today the times is reporting schools will also be told they’re under no general duty to allow children to socially transition you’re up to date with the headlines we’ll have another update at 10:00 uh thanks s yes in the next half an hour Quenton let’s
On the way and then a former head teacher and chairman of the campaign for real education and a teacher will talk about that we threw out earlier the government putting out trans advice later today uh apparently uh in most cases sir the parents should find out there will be some safeguarding issues
But also this pronouns rubbish teachers aren’t going to be thrown out and castigated forever if they get it wrong and this guidance has been long delayed it’s very sensitive it’s very complicated there’s been much debate behind the scenes as to how far the government should go uh with this lots
Of of you have got thoughts thank you for getting in touch Carla says parents should be involved if a child’s trans transition disrupts learning or mental health I know students who transition socially with friends but later change their minds it’s important for schools to support but not to encourage and
Advise I that sounds sensible can can I just say that that is something that you know many people will not be able to say to KLA that lady it’s absolutely right there is a feeling is there not Sarah that a lot of these kids everybody jumps
Up and down are being led a bit and that’s the danger of it but Carla’s point is that a school needs to be a safe place for a child to go to and talk about it um without fear both sides of the coin yeah um but this guidance will
Say that uh parents should be involved it’s a parent first policy par told yeah parents have uh an absolute right to know what’s going on with their own children it’s up to parents to deal with it not teachers and Julian the guardianship of a child is with the par
Parents not with the school city or state I don’t understand the logic of sneaking it past the parents who is ultimately raising the child please keep those thoughts coming really really interesting debate we’re going to be discussing that at 920 in the meantime though the weather here is Nas Nas good
Morning to you what is it looking like well it’s looking like it’s going to be pretty wet throughout this week for the runup to Christmas there are hints of a little bit of a wintry shower or two towards Christmas day Though Times radio sponsors talk TV weather good morning for the runup to Christmas then it is generally looking quite wet although today is not looking too bad once we clear that rain across England and Wales this morning it’s looking sunny and many places will be dry except for some blustery showers in the north
Then it becomes wetter as we see some fronts starting to Pile in from the Northwest as well as that winds are going to strengthen for Wednesday Thursday and Friday then into uh the uh Christmas weekend we are going to be seeing colder air sitting across the north that could produce some winry
Showers over High ground but it’s rain that’s the name of the game really for this morning across most of England World perhaps a bit dry across Northern England now but across Central and Southern areas rain is going to continue through this morning and then by around
Lunchtime I think most of it clears away allowing for lots of sunshine up and down the country so Sunny spells and showers across Scotland for this afternoon some of those showers turning winry of the Highlands but on the whole rain showers a few showers scatter across Northern Island perhaps for
Northern England particularly for the Northwest otherwise most of England or Wales enjoying plenty of sunshine largely dry conditions the highest temperatures this morning will be across the southeast so it’s a very mild start there but once that rain B clears then temperatures will dip a bit so it’s going to feel cool everywhere
Temperatures into high single figures for most overnight the Russia showers continue to feed in on northwesterly winds across much of Scotland Northern Ireland the Republic Northern England as well perhaps the northwest um winds will also pick up in strength a bit so blustery night across the north
That will keep it from being a frosty night for many areas Central Southern areas mostly dry and Clear times radio sponsors talk TV weather thank you so much now back to our top story this morning Home Secretary James cleverly is set to be questioned by peers this afternoon peers not peers on the Rwanda as deal last week the Rwanda bill passed its second vote in the House of Commons despite
Threats of a rebellion from some conservative MP joining us now he’s become so demanding he doesn’t want to do Wednesday I’m doing Tuesday parliamentary sketch rer legendy I bring you Tidings of great joy how are you qu bring you titing to great joy in that Parliament yes closes tonight oh for
Almost three weeks does that mean you’re not working for 3 weeks I retired to my constituency do you where’s that perer lovely where I live I said how are you I don’t like London I don’t live in London how are you anyway Tip Top how are you
Top team well we’re doing we’re doing well having a good one Herford SAS land I can’t say too much no uh anyway today snap your pencil in too soar interesting day um let’s start with Rwanda I mean we have this discussion the whole time today is in front of the
Lords trying to justify something that patently cleverly yes who to me doesn’t seem to enamored with it does he oh he’s all right I quite like cleverly actually he’s um he’s he’s quite normal is he he’s unusually normal for a politician he walked into the job at quite a time
He uh he’s a bit like he sort of like you might meet at the Rugby Club at the bar okay and um he’s not sort of too wrapped up in it all he was quite enjoying being home secretary because you get a lot of air miles but he’s now
Been told he’s got to be home secretary and there’s a bit more hard work involved and he’s got to go today poor bloke 5:00 tonight just when he might have been wanting to hit the Sherry he’s got to go to the House of Lords one of those committees the House of Lords I
Can’t remember which one but it’s the one that’s chaired by Lord Goldsmith do you remember Lord Goldsmith of Iraq war um infamy uh labor pier and he’s got to be um grilled well grilled we always say grilled don’t we broiled it’s got to be boiled boiled alive by by the old sort
Of uh pompous old peers uh so there’s more of this Randa stuff and um I don’t know they’re sticking to their last aren’t they they’re still saying they’re determined to do it and if they uh if they can get a flight off the ground uh
It’s a big if but if they could then that would be a big help to them but well we were talking about this yeah because I mean if they can get it off the ground there are multiple hurdles and the latest one we learn is that
There aren’t any planes no one wants to provide the plan no commercial airline not interested well you what’s what’s the RF for I mean ridiculous you just just Charter One but the the thing about the the Randa thing is that everyone everyone accepts that it’s a big big
Problem for not just this country but bigger problem for the European Union it’s an enormous problem for the West as a whole it’s a very big story in the United States the southern border there there is a uh certainly a western problem uh about immigration now do you
Do something about it or do you do nothing about it the conservative government has taken the perhaps slightly eccentric view that they’re going to try and to do to do something about it they’re going to listen to the voters again too little too late though well at least it’s something
Something uh and it’s also something that’s being watched very closely by other countries yeah and uh other countries are saying O if the Brits can get away with this then uh we’re going to do exactly the same but here is a government which is this is this is the
Argument they put I’m not making it myself I’m just reporting the the argument they they produce is that we are at least trying to do something whereas the other lot uh going to just sit back and let it get worse and they will say also that you know we have reduced the numbers
Coming in a bit although the legal migrations gone mad but that’s going to stop and uh you know that that is the that is the argument for the Tor is going into the next election but they they can at least say well at least we are trying they can’t
Lose can they we were saying earlier you you try and you get turned down you say I did my best you spend in the attempts problem the problem if they don’t manage to get anything done then people might think they’re a bit toothless talking of
WI ohir very good before we come on to ask about richy she’s filling What get never filling it’s all vitally important at rishy sunak also up before the liaison committee the Le got the liaison committee now this is all the chairs getting their moment in the spotlight
Just to tell just to tell the uh the the the the two viewers who are still awake when we’re talking about all these committees but the liaison committee is a tremendously boring old collection of Poots who are the the Grandes yeah of Westminster and they sit at this very
Long table it’s so long you can almost see the Earth’s curvature from one end of the table to the other is that like your Christmas and at the distance you get out the old binoculars and is that like your Christmas lunch table very good question from there is there is Sir
Berard Jenkin at the end sir Berard Jenkin do you remember him the one who had the party and got away with it was he’s the the amate nudist uh he uh he sits at the far end he is he’s a nudist I jakins is a nudist you heard it here
On talk today he he wears clothes in the House of Commons yes but he goes home he’s he behaves like that but I mean when when he’s home yeah it all comes off um anyway uh there’s nothing wrong with nudism no no why is it always ugly
People that never mind KRA on no no he’s he’s goodlooking bloke anyway better looking than me but anyway there he sits at the far end of the table and asks Rishi sunak lots of questions and so do other people around the table and sunak has to know everything about all sorts
Of aspects of he’s a man of detail as opposed to Boris Johnson was terrible at this Boris had a complete essay crisis when it came up and and was sort of sitting there holding his head like a beach ball but sunak sunak actually knows the answers which is very
Unsporting and we sketch writers have to sit in the room uh try to follow try to follow what’s going on is my end of term hell for the Prime Minister before you go off it’s end turns hell for the sketch writers but one year when Tony
Blair was doing it uh I was watching a man he’s now dead poor man a man called Miller labor MP and he he tripped he did the old you know that and he went off he he he’d gone he fell asleep and so I reported this gosh he was cross he was
Absolutely steaming with rage was he oh so nothing much will come out of the Leo committee clevy will have a nightmare in front of the Lord and you’re heading home to hire where your dinner table is that large as soon as possible but hopefully Bernard jenin won’t be naked
At the end of it I’ve got nothing nothing against nudists no what a way to finish it qu and happy Christmas mate you’ve been amazing you enjoying your breakfast everybody we see well they should have eat can I tell you about nudism I once went to a nudis beach I
Was walking along I was waiting close but walking along a nudis beach in in Dorset walking my new Patterdale Terrier you know padal they jump a lot go and a nudest jogger came towards us wearing only a pair of gym shoes and uh my dog my new dog saw him and gave Chase
Bouncing up and down thought seen sausage and um you’ve never seen you have never seen you have never seen a man run faster than that nudist he it was like seeing Steve cram I must say I cannot I I love having you on here thank you for your sausage it’s going to we
Love you lety thank you happy lots more still to come including new guidelines on how schools to deal with trans peoples will be asking two teachers if they think it will work do keep getting in touch with the views and opinion this talk today it’s 9:15 Tuesday morning we’re coming right back
Don’t go anywhere we’re here thanks for joining us you’re with talk TV on TV on radio online run your smart speaker as well criminals to using XL Bully dogs as weapons to threaten other no matter how well Tred most dog owners will tell you a dog can turn you know what I love
About talk today we do it all sunak sella scon I rather like David Cameron I don’t sort of bear him any ill will because he delivered the referendum that he said he would deliver the tor’s love a scrap you can almost see this coming around the tracks with sella bravman she’s heading

Really unfair what what what’s unfair if it’s on camera we’re not doing any yes I’m going to do you’re going to Res yes cuz I cannot continue my work when I say I am God I’m not joking did you feel Elvis was controlling I’ve been answering your question you answer mine
It’s actually not my job to answer your questions are you prepared to call H terror group is it possible to have a rational I’ve asked you two questions should a mass stay in power and are they a terror group you’re refusing to answer either of them that is very telling talk
TV is the only place where you get the truth you’ve done a book on poetry poetry music for the many I love poetry we can agree on that welcome back to talk today right on 18 minutes past N9 now schools will be told that they do not have a duty to
Allow children to change their gender identity and new government guidance is expected to be published this week we joining us now as teacher Bobby seagull as well as former head teacher Chris mcgaven who’s also the chairman of the campaign for real education Bobby um to you first schools have been waiting on
These guidelines for a very long time they are very sensitive they’re very complicated issues that this is trying to deal with does it strike the right balance yeah I think again as teachers it’s a challenging issues I I’ve been a teaching now in secondary schools for
Nearly a decade and when I first started teaching this wasn’t something that was taught and training some been experience in schools or societies and we’ve seen in the last few years it’s definitely so that’s become more prevalent so as teachers we’ve been looking for guidance and I think with this it’s again it’s
Going to be tough you’re not going to please everyone all the time with this but at least it’s giving us something as teachers to say ah okay the government’s suggesting this um and again I think as long as teachers Educators we treat it from a perspective of trying to be
Compassionate and accommodative that’s the way again young people it’s adolesence is always a challenging period if we can trying to be accommoda ative within reason to them my my my question as as a parent I want to put this to you and Chris um is I mean it’s
Easy for me to sit here and say that if my kid was going through that I would think I wanted to know right I would absolutely expect a teacher to tell me however and I’m actually bring Chris in first we have to understand that there are kids brought up by parents who
Aren’t very good and the and the school is that safe place but to put that on teachers I just have this fear and I get slaughtered for this comic that that people not genuine people before everybody jumps up and but this is this is gathering sort of popularity and it
Worries me that something so important it’s almost sheeplike with some do do you know what I’m getting at Chris I do Jeremy it’s uh from our point of view look I was the head of a Catholic school so my position is fairly clear you know we support the rights of
Parents of course and and I think it’s um the the the the guidance coming out and it’s only guidance for consultation sort of Sex Pistols anak UK guidance anything will go uh that’s going to be more worrying I think because school to do their own thing I would love to see a
Situation in the UK where we have school boards elected locally so decisions can be made locally but uh I strongly believe parents should be kept fully informed and if you build if you if you if you cut a Chasm or you dig a hole between parents and the school by
Excluding parents then that’s the recipe for disaster you’re going to break down the families there parents come first the legislation in our country is that the first educators of children are parents so parents have to be kept informed unless there’s some very very exceptional circumstance and you have to
Respect people of different faiths and and I recognize that most of all when I was a head teacher here Jeremy what I said to my children and to the staff you treat other people as you wish to be treated that’s what you need and actually that’s all you need that’s all
If you get the L of it that’s all you need Bobby yeah so again as Educators we are in the position of in local parentis so we’re taking the situation of parents in that school period so it would be problematic in some circumstan if a child says are they considering change
The agenda not to tell parents but I think it’s even more problematic if there are circumstances where you think actually it might jeopardize that child’s safety again so they are safeguarding yeah and I think that’s the biggest thing about again ofstead often they’ll fail schools not for education
But for safeguarding so safeguarding is the most important issue and again if a child from a sort of problematic home area where they think actually their parents might beat them up or attack them if they said this I mean I get I I get that but the other side of the coin
And both you and Chris we haven’t got much time you know that this guidance is going to say if if if a teacher gets it wrong by he I don’t know what the supposed to say anymore I mean teachers are being vilified aren’t they for getting it wrong that’s ludicrous I
Think the guidance now they’re getting a bit more leeway yes so teachers won’t be punish they misgender at someone greater protections uh for children again just quickly on I think it’s about teacher teacher showing sensitivity because if a teacher’s willfully misgendering someone again things happen by accident if they’re willfully saying ah someone
Wants to be called they or she Etc but they if they’re going against someone deliberately to try and upset them I think that’s a different thing again teachers ENT the profession because they want to help young people is it an impossible job Chris being a teacher nowadays you got to worry about pronouns
Expected to be some sort of sexual expert or be a parent and you know you get I mean it it sounds appalling to be fair well I talk I I talk for 35 years and I used to say to new sta you know you get through the first 20 years it’s
Not so bad um what I would say is my colleague said there teachers are in low coar interest but actually that’s in place of teachers not instead of teachers not instead of parents parents must always come first look we’re not a million miles apart on this but I feel
There there’s going to be a lot more problems ahead because there is an attempt here I think in perhaps in this legislation which may may or not may not come to exclude some parents uh we really have a problem because the government to have their hands tied by
The equality they they can only do so much they’re trying to do their best but I’m I have a feeling we’re not we’re going to over complicate things we’ve got to come back to the basic message of most religion just treat other people as you wish to be treated I agree some
Teachers by the way have their own agenda don’t forget that should Sarah should you what do you think about this as a parent do you think parents should get more advice and help on dealing with this yes do you know what I mean abely is it being put on teachers we’re all
Sort of learning as we go along aren’t we and we don’t know what’s coming around the corner with our children I’d like to think that I would be able to work in tandem with a school um but that’s not the case for everyone is it now the government had considered Bobby
An outright ban on social transitioning so you couldn’t change your name if you wanted to in school but they were advised that wasn’t allowed do you think that would have been going too far I think again in a sensitive situation like this where we’re trying to understand the moral hazards of of the
Cases either way to have a really firm line saying now that’s definitely not allowed would have put teachers in a more difficult position again we know that Society is changing Society always changes and it’s about trying to move with the time it’s not about saying ah let’s just abandon everything but I
Think it’s about being sensitive and again we used to get called names now you can change your name yeah the world has changed the world world always changes Society always evolves 50,000 years ago we’re sitting in caves with fires and now we’re sitting in studios we still support West Ham together CHR
Just finally very quickly some will say this guidance is a bit cloudy is it a step in the right direction do you think for the teaching profession and for parents yes or no no it’s Anarchy UK Sex Pistols guidance in what sense Chris because schools are going to have to determine
For themselves what they do so there’s not really guidance on some schools will have very strong positions and they will not be ones necessarily my colleague holds with the point is there’s a lot of different opinions about this and therefore my school is a Catholic school there are other religious schools in the
Country they have a particular position we don’t Catholics aren’t ask to give their opinion on these matters they’re told what to think we have a catechism it sets out the faith similarly with the Islamic faith similarly with other faiths so we have a position which is partly religious that’s what we believe
In I talk about this all day and I’m so pleased Chris thank you very much the Bobby you are a fellow West down fan so you will look at that happy hammers gentlemen thank you very much indeed that is all we have time for on talk today what a show Sarah Houston you’ve

Criminals to using XL Bully dogs as weapons to threaten others no matter how well trained most dog owners will tell you a dog can turn you know what I love about talk today we do it all sunak sella scon I rather like David Cameron I don’t
Sort of bear him any ill will because he delivered the referendum that he said he would deliver the Israelis are very conciliatory all they want is to be recognized the timing of this hamus attack comes because there was the expectation there was going to be deal on to normalizing relations with Saudi
Arabia the Tories love a scrap you can almost see this coming around the tracks with sella bravman she’s heading up one side and richy soon at the other reshuffles usually very dull this one had booster Rockets attached to it certainly the tone has shifted in terms
Of what rashak has done the question now is what he does next the police are pro Palestine that is just not right you swear an o in the police to act without fear or favor the co inquiry seems to have turned into a sort of pantomim there’s not really any substance to it
It’s hard to know whether it’s a fce or a tragedy talk TV has spoken exclusively to a member of the Blade Runners do you have a message for sadique Khan we’re not stopping until you stop the amount of time it’s taken the number of illegal migrants currently
Sent by us to Rwanda zil the amount of money it’s cost we’re saying what are we saying it’s cost about 140 million ÂŁ40 million so far so40 million so far result nil absolutely nil are we only going to be trusting sources like meta and Google where is our
Unbiased news going to come from K in winter is cold that is from the Jeremy Corbin book Kevin O Sullivan is the worst presenter on talk TV sitting on his fat ass talking for a liit if you’re walking towards me and you’re a vegan should have a great big orange sticker over
Here saying watch out vegan’s about the weirdest plank that we’ve had in three years hundreds and hundreds of mice in a box which he walked into a branch of McDonald MC mous man MC mous man MC man he should be easy enough to catch this guy shouldn’t he I mean he’s
Got a house full of mice this is a major Summit President Biden decided this was important after watching a Tom Cruz film do you think people underestimate how important music is for this country it’s about 10 times the size of the fishing industry so the music industry although it looks fun and
Glamorous it’s a tough tough industry sunac and the current conservative government are not conservative why don’t you leave that party and come to one that actually shares your ideology this has been a party political broadcast on behalf of the reform UK party kids think all they have to do is
Take pictures of everything just shut down Tik Tok problem solved why did Nat West ever think she was worth her full payoff is anybody who’s working for an institution funded by the taxpayer worth $1 million P I would say absolutely not this is really unfair what what what’s
Unfair if it’s on camera we’re not doing interviews yes I’m going to do you’re going to resol yes cuz I cannot continue my work when I say I am God I’m
