Why are there spacers between the fork crown and the lower headset cup? Is that to make the axel to crown measurement even longer? To raise the stack?
It looks like the frame was originally designed for xc, but the fork looks longer than would have been used for that, and given how steep that headtube *still* looks, I’m wondering how twitchy this thing would have been in (what I assume was) original spec.
There’s a lot here that makes me wonder about the origins of this bike- spacers below the headset, but none between the stem and headset. Flat bars. No bottle cage. Strange pedal choice. Etc.
Titus made (makes?) nice bikes- but this is a strange setup.
