And where to generally purchase replacements, hardware stores, bike shop, or the manufacturer (northwave)? Multiple sizes or is there a standard? Thanks, I’ve done a lot do googling but have come up with lots of similar things, just not sure if I’ve found the *right* thing.

Cleats. Get them from your bike shop to match your pedal.
Cleat T nut or tab nut, often brand specific, but measure the dimensions of what you’ve got, and you might find a generic.
Northwave sells direct.
Just checking you’ve looked under the footbed – those suckers can slip out of place and be hiding!
