G’day Guys , I am really bad at explaining things , so please bare with me here 😀 .. I got a new Polygon & assembled it myself yesterday but I started noticing that my front wheel has some rolling resistance & doesn’t roll freely because I believe the disc pad is rubbing with the disc on my front tyre .. please find below some pictures I took of it .. Can you please guide me on how to resolve this problem ?

Looks like the calliper is misaligned.
Loosen the bolts connecting the calliper to the fork.
Gently, and firmly, pull on the brake lever. While holding the lever re-tighten the calliper bolts.
Spin wheel to see if fixed.
If not fixed repeat until fixed, applying varying levels of pressure to brake until you get it right.
Fiddly, takes time, but should get it aligned properly.

  2. This happened a couple weeks ago with my rear brake on my MTB. If you know what you’re doing, a quick 5 min fix moving the caliper or bring it to a bike shop and they can sort it out quick. When was last tune up? Might be a good time for one too?
