So today I picked up a front fork disassembled from a new bike. Unfortunately I noticed that removing crown race didn’t went well and steerer tube is slightly damaged. It has 3 defects:
1 – a dent 0.04 by 0.08 inch and 0.04 inch deep (1 by 2mm and 2mm deep) – tube material is bulged around
2 – a scratch 0.15 by 0.04 inch and 0.01 inch deep (4 by 1mm and 0.3mm deep)
3 – a scratch 0.23 by 0.04 inch and 0.02 inch deep (6 by 1mm and 0.5mm deep)
I’m wondering is it safe to install and ride a fork with that kind of defects? This is a trekking Rockshox Paragon Gold RL. I will be gratefull for any opinion

If it’s a Rockshox Paragon Gold, I wouldn’t worry. It’s a trekking fork after all. Dent (1) is the worst of the three. (2) and (3) look to be inconsequential.
The fork steerers aren’t paper thin either, so you’ll be fine. It’s just an unfortunate happening from your method of removing the crown race.
As long as you can install the new crown race and it sits flush as it should, you’re good.
This is fine. That’s not a carbon steerer so there really isn’t much to worry about.
It’s fine. 100% fine. Aluminum steer tube always gets a little bit gouged even with proper crown race installation and removal.
