I didn’t like the idea of having the tube loose in my saddle bag where it could get damaged, so I took the gift wrap supplies which were nearby and some plain paper and rewrapped it a bit smaller than the original box. Bonus I was able to peel off the size label from the box so I can even remember what size it is in the distant future.

I put my tubes in a ziplock bag so they don’t get damaged when I shove them into my saddle bag along with a multi tool and CO2 canister.
