Working on an old fat chance and I can’t figure out how to remove the cable from these old Magura motocross levers

Unscrew the top cap and it pops right off. It gives you access to the cables.
Gently pull the rubber cover away from the lever. Once you do that you’ll be able to see how the cable/housing attach to the lever.
