Seems like a rather sticky grease if I understood it right. So you may get a bit more resistance. (If I correctly read what I just looked up) But it will be okay to use.

Yes should be fine. It is so sticky in my experience that I actually prefer marine or moly wheel bearing grease because it is easier to spread with a brush.

It definitely won’t be breaking down due to excessive heat. As for a seatpost, I use carbon paste. I don’t want that moving.

Works on almost everything. You need a lighter grease for freehubs or suspension. I moved to marine grease for off-road use.

I use, and i like it. I find for bbs and headsets on old bikes with ball bearings its real nice. Itll hold the balls well enough that i can move the bike without worrying that the balls will move or fall.

Seatposts dont need lube tbh. I used a titanium seatpost in an aluminum frame for months bad weather good weather around 2-4k km.bet this stuff works great as bearing lube

I use Sta-Plex red as my main toolbox grease. It’s very water resistant and is a lith base so plays well with any existing factory greases. It works well in coaster brakes and even roller brakes. I use it for ball bearings in gear hubs too.

Downside is that it’s smelly.
