    i dont think theres any thing to fix really. your free hub has more drag then the bottom bracket bearings to, but its not an indication that anything is wrong or needs to be fixed.

    if you chain starts going slack when freewheeling then you need to service the freewheel/freehub bearings or replace the freewheel (you dont show the hub, but i am pretty sure you have a freewheel based on the age of the rest of the drivetrain)

    Put the bike sideways, gear train up, and drip some Phil Wood tenacious oil into the side of the freewheel in the gap between the moving and non moving parts while it spins. It will probably fix the issue. Don’t do it inside, cause it will likely drip and get a little messy while your doing it and maybe a little afterward.
