VÝCHODNÉ SLOVENSKO NA BICYKLI, EASTERN SLOVAKIA CYCLING, BIKEPACKING SLOVAKIA, CYKLISTIKA, SLOVENSKO

Zhruba po desiatich rokoch sme sa vrátili na veľkú jazdu po východnom Slovensku. Vtedy ešte vo dvojici, dnes v trojici s päťročným Maťkom. Čo to sme už poznali a boli sme zároveň zvedaví ako sa krajina zmenila. Našli sme tam krásne veci, priateľských a pohostinných ľudí a množstvo zaujímavých prírodných aj architektonických krás. Prešli sme pol okruh, zhruba 600-kilometrov, ale vo veľmi ťažkých prírodných podmienkach. Hneď druhý deň z trojtýždňového dobrodružstva ukázal, že dážď môže naše plány výrazne redukovať. To sme ešte netušili, že nás čaká najchladnejší august za posledných 30 rokov. Napriek tomu sme bojovali a nevzdali sme sa. Odmenou za blato, dážď a chlad nám boli obrovské zážitky a nádherné prírodné divadlo, ktoré dokáže pripraviť len nepriaznivé počasie.

After ten years we returned back to Eastern Slovakia, to take a big cycling trip. At that time we were only two, but this time with our five-year-old son. Some places we already knew and we wanted to know, how the region had changed. We discovered beautiful things there. Friendly and hospitable people, many interesting natural and architectural beauties. We cycled around 600 kilometers, in difficult weather conditions. On the very next day of our three week adventure we learned, that the rain can significantly cut our plans. At that time we didn´t know, that we´re cycling in the coldest August since the last 30 years! Still, we did not give up. We fought until the end and finished our trip. The reward for all that mud, rain and cold were amazing experiences and a wonderful natural sceneries, which can be seen only in adverse weather conditions.
