Hiya, hoping for a little help.
I’m building a wheel. Something I’ve done many times before but this one is a little different as the rim uses internal nipples.
I have all of the spokes threaded to (approximately) equal lengths on the nipples as per a normal wheel build and they’re not yes I tension. The trouble I’m having is that this is my first build with a carbon rim and I’m terrified of damaging it in some way.
As you can see in the video, the wheel is wayyy outa whack which I wouldn’t expect from equal tension spokes on a new rim even if they are relatively loose in tension.
Can anyone with experience building wheels like this offer any advice?
Thanks!

Looks like it’s just off centre a bit, I’d slacken all of the low side of the wheel off first a couple of full turns then do the high side up a bit adjusting the two halves as I go so it stops going up and down and then worry about getting the tension, true and dish correct, as long as you don’t over tighten the spokes and keep tension even there shouldn’t be anything to worry about
