I’m having trouble deciding what my “price” is for each of these bikes. They all have Claris group sets. Any advice would be appreciated!
1. 2021 Giant Contender 3 for $650
2. 2020 Trek Domane AL2 for $750
3. (Not sure of year?) Cannondale CAAD optimo 4 for $600
There’s also the option of a decathlon RC120 or RC520 I guess.
I assume I can haggle the prices of the used bikes but it’s hard to identify what is a good deal starting off versus not. The trek is definitely overpriced considering how scuffed and ridden it is in other photos.
I’d be happy with the Giant Contender, it seems like a well praised bike and the listing said they have been very on top of maintenance.

I’d go with the Trek. I believe it has the same group set as the giant, but has disc brakes and can accept wider tires.
I don’t think I would want to spend more than $500 on a bike with the entry level Claris components.
Basic to best are Claris, Sora, Tiagra, 105, Ultegra, DuraAce.
