It’s just so hard to beat the lines of the Crux and Aethos. I also like the dropped-stays look of the Tarmac, but this “traditional” look is timeless.

Specialized makes two bikes that are almost perfect, but ultimately both are a bit compromised for what I want. If they would make an aethos with a 15 – 20 mm taller stack or a crux that could take 50/34 shimano cranks I would be a happy camper but apparently if I want an endurance bike from the big S it has to have absurd suspension.
