I agree with the previous post, it’s most likely from your shoe. For me it happens on the drive side. I like to put a little piece of paint protection film right there on the crank arm which seems to help.

Specifically, your heel is hitting it every time you pedal. Toe your cleat in just a little, that is, as you are looking down at the bottom of your shoe, point the front is the cleat just a teeny bit more to the outside.

That’s exactly where the toe of your shoe is as the cranks spin. It’s slowly rubbing the anodising off the aluminium. With enough time you might able to cut through it!
