  1. 1) glad but unsurprised the bike fit helped; 2) I thought swans migrated south for winter but nope—muddy field; 3) now I need to rewatch "Singin' In the Rain"

  2. Thanks for remembering to state the temp lol. We can now relate to what you're dealing with. Glad the bike feels better and hopefully the new saddle will make thinks even better.

  3. Good job keeping your spirits up in the rain, this winter has been a pig so far, looking forward to some longer days and a bit of sun :). You should do a subs ride sometime, bet there would a few of us up for it 👍.

  4. I never saw a pressure pad measurement, together with the video analysis, very awesome. Not sure any shops around me in SF do that. What did that 3 hour fitting session cost?

  5. I love your attitude and fun loving spirit. As you said riding in the rain isn't so bad, compared to what other peoples situation is and what life has heaped upon them. Perspective is everything, thanks for a fun video and congratulations on the bike fit. Made a world of difference for me last year.

  6. Brings me back to my cycling routes in Saskatchewan when I was 19 years old I did my first long 'Tea' ride with our fearless British leader who was 65 at the time. A nice tea with honey at a Cafe mid ride. ❤

  7. I'm so glad to you had a bike fit, as with the massive number of miles you put in it is essential. It will make a world of difference, especially if you have asymmetry issues like I do. Love your videos!

  8. In olden days, mountaineers climbing Everest and the like used silk vests as their base layers. RAF fighter pilots, Spifires, Lancasters Tornados etc used silk glove liners too.

  9. one of the reasons i do not ride in the rain is water gets in my sleeve and my leg becomes loose i think thats a good excuse 🤣🤣🤣 not easy to motivate yourself when its as wet as it has been lately luckily off to Spain in Feb for a week

  10. Can't wait for you to get that new saddle to complete your transformation on the bike
now we need to get you some warmer waterproof gloves; the bloke that had an extra pair of gloves was very clever too
We need to also get you some clear googles to wear in bad weather to protect you eyes too.
Nige was as warm and enthusiastic as always. Ding dang dillo TTFN to you to Amy

  11. Guessing that was St Joseph's tea room? Only been in there once many years ago despite living within a few miles. Not missing that weather and enjoying watching from sunny lanzarote.

  12. Amy, I noticed your jacket is completely wetted out (water not beading up on the surface), but likely it just needs a DWR treatment. Do you have Nikwax products in the UK?
