Cotic’s Jeht 2 Trail MTB is a Scottish built, steel frame masterpiece with a muscular ride, sorted suspension, sweet spot geometry and its killer value and eco friendly too. Find out more live from some of my favourite test trials as I meet up with Cotic founder Cy for an exclusive live ride review.
Thanks to Cy for coming to ride, ,Giro Cycling UK, Peatyโ€™s Products, Enduro Bearings, Crud XL Fenders, Torq Nutrition and Hebtroco for supporting the channel, and of course you my Patreon supporters for your monthly pledges.

  1. Really enjoyed that! Then again really enjoyed my demo ride on the original Jeht. It totally amazed me how much more capable it was than my gen 2 FlareMAX and that's pretty damn impressive for a short travel bike.

Absolutely love that deep red colour, reminds me a little of my old 2000 model Marin Eldridge Grade. Ok, maybe I'm being a little retro-romantic ๐Ÿ˜œ

Also i have ti say those trails just kept on getting better and better ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  2. And here was me planning to visit Cotic on Friday to mull over the Flare Max / Jeht options… I think an order for a Jeht 2's going to be placed. Anyone need a Soul mk3?

  3. Great reviews Guy! Cotics are the best! General feeling on comparison between this and the Gen5 Flaremax? Would be looking to run the Jeht 2 with a pike and lighter build.

  4. At 7:50 what trail is that? Looks good as does the bike! Sticking on my new hard tail at the min, until I get my ability dialled in again. Iโ€™m likening the sound of steel on a sus. I bet itโ€™s nice and compliant?
