Filey Brigg, is it the worst campsite on the Yorkshire coast and did we find the Northern Lights? We headed to Filey Brigg in search of the Northern Lights, even though the campsite we had to stay on had some of the worst trip advisor reviews we have seen. Are the staff as rude as it says? Has the site seen better days? Or are the reviews unfair? We fly the drone over the Brigg and explore Filey itself. Hope you enjoy having a wander with us and we will let you know at the end what we thought of the campsite.
Travelling in our Self Built Campervan is our favourite thing to do!

That was a nice coastline walk there probably worth it for that maybe 😊
Had winkles when I was a youngster from whitby and was sick for a week..
Pampas grass. Lol
Hey, just make sure you keep big dick within sight 😂 Nice vlog, and a good laugh as ever!! Hope your ankle fully recovers soon!!
I love Darren's running commentary when he took over. He'll be doing Look North next. Bempton cliffs can be a good spot for the Northern lights. You do need to be careful of the werewolf when there's a full moon though. The vervain could have come in useful, it's used as a homeopathic remedy. Great for swelling and pain relief. So ideal for Toni's foot lol😂.
Great footage and as always, very entertaining. Look forward to seeing the next one xx
You and me both, we used to call them bogies with crash helmets on. Still don't like them lol
Fantastic videography! Loving it!
Weird thinking of Darren playing with his big dicky on the sea front . And nearly got it all wet as well
❤
Just found you and subbed. Good honest review of the site and it confirms one reason why we don't use sites any more. Not a part of Yorkshire that we know bit intend to remedy next year. Looking forward to catching up on your other videos. Thanks both.
New sub here you talk my language don’t judge a book by its cover and beer o’clock never been to Filey Brigg even though don’t live far away lovely shots with the drone CV
We stayed there a few times and it used to be ok. Last time we went though they wouldn't let us on despite being 75% empty so we ended up riding round for 2 hours looking for somewhere to park for the night. Seems to be used by "travellers" of the less desirable variety as well.
Yes you can walk on filey brigg when the tide is out. I dont care what trip advisor says we love the campsite for the position. We were just up from your piitch nearer the shower block. It is what you make it. We liked that the carpark wasnt rammed at night .xxx it would anoy me if i had paid a proper fee and someone takes the mickey. We do filey alot. Either camping or rent a flat on the front. Probably cockles?wear your tacticle gloves when parking overnight when being naughty😂😂😂 xx perhaps a balaclava?😂😂❤ filey fish and chips. Definitely fair comment on showers they weren't like that when we came a few years ago. Thankyou for your warts and all account. We moved pitch from nearer reception as there was a big muddy hole it is quieter where you are. BUT ALL THAT SAID IF PEOPLE WANT TO RISK A 70.00 fine good luck to you. I live down south now so lots of places to explore in Hampshire and Dorset.
