I got one of these a while back and took it apart. I have yet to build it, but I was going to try for a gravel bike setup.

They are great bikes and pretty easy to modify. I picked up one for $50 back in 2020. [HERE](https://imgur.com/a/Um39XJG) are some pics of how it began and how it has been going. It’s actually a bit different now but I don’t have any current pics.

What I can tell you is you can save $100s on expensive repairs by investing 5 dollars into a small bottle of chain lube, as the gears looks pretty unmaintained. It’s a very good idea to apply chain lube every other ride or so for a commuter like you!

the biopace(oval chainrings) suck and were notorious for causing knee pain
