Berlin – Brocken

I wanted to do a longer tour to dial in the gear for an upcoming multi week trip and decided to drive to Brocken, a mountain roughly 300km from Berlin.
It was a good tour, I took my time, but I was also surprised how much more exhausting it is to only ride off-pavement.

I used CXBs gravel routeplanning tool to create the track, which really puts an emphasis on off-pavement. The selected paths were varying mostly from very good to very adventurous in short succession, but unfortunately, sometimes the path just stopped to exist.

This is not a problem of the program, but rather of the map material, but it can be frustrating when you have to go back several times per day and you slowly lose trust in the track.
