I’d find something better. Whatever you spend in parts + frame will exceed haggling down a complete bike sans dent.

A top tube dent isn’t the end of the world. If it happened on a bike I owned, I’d certainly keep riding it. I wouldn’t actually spend money to buy a frame with one, though. You can do better.

someone descended in the top tube. I know I did and that eventually happened. I replaced the frame because I’m not willing to take even the slightest extra risk like that. Still descend on the top tube though just less often 😂
